Kalas Corbett, born Arthur Corbett, became an orphan at 8 years old when their parents were killed inside their home while Kalas hid. Kalas's metagene activated from the extreme stress and used it to lure the killer away from their hiding spot. Kalas lived in the streets for a while, using their powers to help him survive. Eventually they were caught stealing by Batman, who warned them against a life of crime. Inspired by Batman, Kalas decided to become a vigilante and use their powers for good. They were adopted by two loving dads and began to go to school while teaching themself how to fight and be a detective. Now they roam the streets stopping crime and kicking ass!
