2. next morning

the moment you wake up, you realize three fundamental things at the exact same time.

one, your head fucking hurts. two, there is no sunlight in this room which is good but you don't have blackout curtains whcih means you're not in your room. and three, you're entangled in another body.

you hear the sheets rustling and before you could even pretend to go back to sleep, yuna was sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

she looks down at you a small smile taking over her face at the realization of what you two did last night and the fact that you were still there.

"good morning" you greet, talking for the first time that morning.

"it is a good morning indeed" yuna returns the greeting with a small chuckle.

you were about to respond but your phone went off signaling a notification making you get out of bed to search for it. luckily it was being blown up so you easily found it on the floor, halfway out of your pocket.

you picked it up looking at all the messages and missed phone calls, all from your roommates.

"your friends?" yuna asked as she pushed her hair out of her face.

"yeah. i forgot to tell them i was leaving with you last night so they're all worried" you said.

you quickly texted them all back letting them know you were fine and just spent the night at a friend's house because you were too drunk to make it back.

yuna stands up stretching and you look away trying to ignore her naked form. she puts on some clothes before passing you yours.

once you get them you put them on in a hurry ready to rush off to your first class.

as you were putting on your shirt, yuna asked if you had a class to which you proceeded to nod at.

"you should take some of my clothes then" yuna offered, "don't want you going in there smelling like alcohol. everybody will know what you did last night"

you stop putting on your shirt to look at yuna hesitantly. she looks unfazed as she pushes you towards the bathroom, "you should also take a shower first. i'll get you a towel and some clothes"

you don't have time to respond as she closes the door.

once you're down showering where there was a towel and clothes waiting for you, just as promised. you hurry and dry off before putting the clothes on and speeding out of the bathroom.

you go back to the bedroom where your phone was waiting and pick it up before getting ready to leave.

"thanks yuna. i appreciate it. i'll wash and return your clothes later!" you yell to her as you walk out of the door.

once you close the door you run into chaeryeong, yuna's roommate who is also a friend she's had since middle school.

"y/n?" she questions looking confused as she looks back and forth between you and the door you just came out of. which happened to be hers.

"ohh hey" you greet awkwardly.

"are those yuna's clothes?" she gestures to the clothes you were wearing.

"listen, don't think about it too much. sorry, i would talk more but i have a class i need to be at right now" you apologized before speed walking down the hallway.

you opened the door to the class, ignoring all the stares you received walking straight to the seat next to yizhou.

"and where have you been?" yizhou asks once you sit down.

"i told you, i stayed at a friends house for the night" you responded.

"which friend? i didn't know you knew that many people outside of us" yizhou looks at you determined to find out more information, "and whose clothes are those. i've never seen you wear anything like this before"

you don't respond, looking at the projector at the front of the room. taking mental notes of what was being shown.

"you don't even have your laptop so you can't even fake taking notes. just tell me"

"i'm taking them mentally"

"did you hook up with someone" you continue to ignore her, "with who? do i know them?"

you groan wanting to block her out with some music at least but you don't even have your airpods on you.

knowing she won't let up you decide to go the vague route and say, "you know them"

yizhou looks like she's about to give up on the questions as she turns away towards her laptop but quickly turns back, "just a hint. did they go to our school?"

"they were at the party last night" you answer.

yizhou huffs as she rolls her eyes. "i'll find out. somebody had to see you leaving last night"

1. start of something new

you should have known it was a lie when ning and anton told you they would be taking you to a small gathering to celebrate the start of the school year. what they did do is take you to a gathering in a small room.

you were clutching your cup that was filled halfway with cheap liquor as you pushed through the many people at the party. you don't know who decided a dorm room was the best place to throw a party for a bunch of people, but whatever works.

you look around as you continue to walk trying to find at least one person you know. you do end up spotting aeri, one of your friends from high school but she was too busy talking to other people so you weren't even going to try that.

you let out a sigh as you continue to scan the room. you don't find anybody you know, but you do end up finding the kitchen where there happened to be chairs where you could sit down for a moment and recoup.

as your sitting down you see someone else walk in holding a red solo cup. she was wearing a long sleeved white shirt with the shoulders gone paired with some black pants and her hair down.

it's yuna, your next door neighbor; you realize as you continued to look at her.

"yuna?" you question out loud after recognizing the taller girl.

she stops suddenly looking over at you, her eyes scanning you for a second before realizing who you are.

"y/n!" she exclaims happy to see a familiar face.

"you go here?" you stand up starting a conversation.

even though you two were next door neighbors you never went to the same school. that didn't stop you two from hanging out from time to time though. ever since you were kids you would greet each other whenever you would leave for school or when either of you were returning from school.

"yeah! i can't believe we're finally going to the same school, all it took was us going to college" yuna says as she moves closer towards you.

"i thought you were going out of the country though" you said as you remembered the college celebration that you attended for her after graduation.

"i didn't really wanna go to a place where i didn't know anybody, so i just decided to come here" yuna explained.

"ahh i see" you nod your head before taking a sip of your drink.

"why were you sitting down in here though? not having fun?" yuna questioned.

"i was just taking a break. i lost my friends like an hour ago and i got tired of walking around tryna to find them" you told her. "what about you? tryna sneak some shit from the kitchen?"

"i just wanted to refill my drink. i'm almost out" yuna chuckled showing you her almost empty cup.

"then don't let me stop you" you say before taking another sip of your drink.

"are you not gonna look for your friends?" yuna asked.

"i'll find them eventually. i always do" you waved it off.

"the refill area is on the other side of the kitchen by the entrance by the way" you told yuna.

"can you lead me to it? i wanna talk with you some more"

you agreed holding out your hand for her to grab so you could lead her through the people that had migrated there way over to where the two of you were. she accepted and you two walked to the kitchen.

once you made it to the makeshift bar you picked up some bottles before turning to yuna to ask what she wanted to which she replied with, "surprise me"

you hummed before turning back around with a small laugh. you grabbed bottles of fireball, rum, and bourbon and poured them all in.

"why am i regretting this already?"

"just trust"

"i don't"

you added some peach and cranberry juice and finished it off with a teaspoon of grenadine before handing yuna's cup back to her. "try it"

yuna took the cup and hesitantly took a sip. after tasting it she looked up with a satisfied look on her face. "it's actually good" she chuckled.

"i told you to trust me"

"didn't you become legal only a couple of months ago? why are you so good at this?"

"don't ask too many questions" you responded before making your own cup of the same thing before leading yuna back to your previous spot.

"hey are you still dating that one girl?" yuna asked once you two sat down.

"no, we broke up during the summer" you told her.

yuna smiled at that before it quickly went off her face, realizing she needed to be compassionate. "oh no, are you okay?"

"yeah i'm fine now. we both decided to break up before college started because we were going to separate colleges" you explained, "but how was your summer"

"well as you know i traveled and don't tell my mom, but i also went to a lot of parties"

"sounds like fun"

"what about you?"

"i just hung out with friends and when i wasn't doing that i was sleeping" you told her.

"why was i not included in the friends you hung out with this summer? i missed you" yuna whined as she leaned into you.

"that's your fault. you were traveling during the summer" you pointed out.

"i was there at the beginning, but you were always with your girlfriend. i didn't wanna bother you"

"you could've just asked; i would've made time for you"

"stopp" yuna blushed, "you're gonna make my crush on you come back"

"you had a crush on me?" you teased nudging her shoulder lightly.

"yepp" yuna nodded cutely, "when we first started high school"

"and you never told me"

"i didn't know if you were even gay. i only found out when you started dating that one girl, but by then it was too late" yuna responded.

"i always thought you were pretty" you revealed to yuna making the blush reappear on her cheeks, the alcohol definitely wasn't helping either.

"don't lie" yuna said, her voice tinged with disbelief.

"yuna i'm so serious, you've always been one of the prettiest girls to me" you said while meeting her gaze.

"why'd you never tell me then?"

"we went to different schools. i never thought it would work out" you shrugged.

"pussy" yuna rolled her eyes playfully.

"i know but hey, we go to the same school now" you remarked, your tone carrying a hint of suggestion.

"what do you mean by that?"

"i'm just saying, we're both single-we are both single, right"

"of course. i wouldn't have been entertaining you if i wasn't"

"ok good. anyways, we're both single, we both liked each other at some point, and i've wanted to kiss you since that trip we took to the drive in movie theater" you confessed.

the tension between you two began to grow at your confession.

you down your cup needing the extra courage to do what you were about to do. you look over at yuna who was already staring at you with a dazed look.

"we should leave" you suggested.

yuna continues to stare for a couple more seconds, her eyes a mix of curiosity and lust.

"and what would we do when we leave?" she finally asks after the moment of silence between you two.

you shrug as you stand up from the spot you were sitting at, you walk forward a little before turning back to yuna. "we figure that out when we get there"

about half an hour later you were in yuna's dorm room, pinned up against the wall by the taller girls body while she kissed you eagerly.

you could taste the alcohol you two had drank earlier on the other girls lips as you continued to kiss.

you let out a soft moan as you pull yuna closer, your hand slipping in between the two of you. your fingers graze down her body ending up at her waist.

yuna moves her kisses down your neck making you let out even more moans at the feeling.

yuna pulls back for a moment to catch her breath as she meets your eyes. the both of your hearts are beating fast as you both try and calm your breathing.

"is this okay with you?" yuna asks before she went any further.

"yes" you respond before leaning in to close the gap, kissing yuna again.

which led to yuna's lips brushing against your neck, her hand pinning your wrist against the mattress while she uses the other to fuck into you. she breaths softly against your ear as moans and whimpers fall from your lips.

yujin was very rudely awoken by your phone ringing. yujin tried to curl up against you but made a displeased noise when she feels you trying to move away from her to get to your phone.

"noo" yujin whines, "ignore it. i want you with me"

"yujin, i'm not leaving" you chuckle as you reassured her still trying to get out of her hold so you can get your phone. "i just need to answer this call right quick"

yujin hesitantly lets go so you can move and get your phone off the nightstand, you immediately move back into yujin though as you answer the phone.

"of course it's wonnie" you mumbled as you answered the phone putting it up to your ear.

"morning... why are you calling?"

"good morning y/n. i just wanted to know why my two best friends didn't tell me they were dating. how dare you not tell me and just let me find out through twitter!" wonyoung exclaimed.

"why are you yelling?" you asked.

"because you told twitter before you told me anything!"

"to be fair i didn't tell anybody. imagine having to text all my friends, since you know i'm popular and it would be so stressful to try and tell everybody i know" you said.

"i'm literally the reason you two are dating though" wonyoung deadpanned.

"and we're very grateful for that"

"i should know about these events before anybody else. at least give me that privilege!"

"to be fair i posted the tweet when i was tired and just wanted to brag"

"i'm a part of this relationship too. you would've stayed hating each other if it wasn't for me" wonyoung continues on.

"and that's why you'll be the maid of honor for both of us. how would that work?"

"we'll make it work" wonyoung finally let's it go.

"alright now for the talks. listen i love both of y'all and y'all are both my best friends. i have more faith in you then i do in yujin to not break your heart, but just in case i swear if you break her heart i will hunt you down. not that harsh because i love you but i will. hopefully, we'll never have to go down to that though, so you two better live happy lives and stay together forever" wonyoung starts in a threatening voice but immediately changes to happy for the second part, "i'm rooting for you two"

"alright now pass the phone to yujin"

you pass the phone to yujin who was still half sleep, "wonnie wants to talk"

"yujin we're best friends but so me and y/n. you better not hurt my best friend again and i mean that shit. she's happy now and if you do anything to change that i'll come for you. also if you choose anybody else to be your maid of honor at the wedding we'll actually fight, i don't care if i have to be both of yours, we'll make it work"

"but i'm so happy for y'all. so happy you finally stopped being an asshole and finally told y/n your feelings. don't know how much longer i could've dealt with it"

yujin nodded her head sleepily, half listening to what wonyoung was saying. she definitely cared about what wonyoung was saying and would be willing to listen whole-heartedly to what wonyoung was saying when she was fully awake. but for right now, all she wanted to do was sleep with you in her arms.

once wonyoung finally finished her speech, promising to give you two more at a better time, yujin returned the phone back to you before laying back down in a comfortable position.

you said your goodbyes to wonyoung before hanging up the phone and set your phone back on down on the night stand. once you got back to your previous spot yujin took her prior position of holding onto you.

"alright now let's go back to sleep" yujin pulls you back closer.

"you're clingy in the morning" you commented fully embracing it.

"mhmm. only my girlfriend gets to experience it" yujin states.

you blush at her words, "i see. i think i can get used to these girlfriend privileges" you say as you hug yujin back.

you watched yujin as you two walked hand in hand down the beach. the sun was just starting to set so the light looked really nice on her.

"this is nice. it reminds me of our first date" you said.

"yeah it does" yujin says as she stops walking, making you stop as well.

"why did we stop walking?" you asked as your moved your head to look at the korean girl.

"because we need to talk" yujin said.

"oh god we're breaking up. yujin you can't break up with me we're not dating" you said.

"oh no. not that" yujin shook her head quickly. "it's about something else. i need to ask you a question"

"what do you need to ask me?" you moved closer to the other girl.

yujin was nervous, never in her life had she asked somebody out. it had always been the other way around. she even asked her friends, searched up online, and practiced how she would ask you out.

she wanted it to be special, something you would both remember.

yujin glanced at the other girl who just so happened to be very close to her at the moment. how could just looking at her make me feel a certain way, yujin asked her herself.

"okay so i like you, like a lot" yujin confessed.

"well i would hope so. otherwise all those dates were for nothing" you chuckled nervously.

"ever since i met you almost two years ago now, i couldn't stop thinking about you which i thought was weird. which is why i basically ignored you for those two years. but now i just wish i could take all that back and start over all again" yujin began to ramble about all the things she wish she would've done and what she would've changed.

"yujin" you cut off her rambling knowing she could go on for hours. "i get that. get to the point though"

"oh yeah sorry" yujin took a deep breath before speaking.

"will you be my girlfriend?" yujin asked quickly.

"yes" you said immediately not even thinking about it.

"wait really?" yujin had to make sure she was hearing this right.

you didn't say anything but moved her arms up around yujin's neck, and brought your lips to hers. the tension between you two growing. it began as a soft kiss that then turned harder by yujin which you were quick to respond to going just as hard.

yujin moved her hands down to the younger girls sides, stopping by her hips, gripping them tightly. yujin breaks the kiss for a quick second to kiss down her jaw line, making her way down your neck. you tilted her head and moved your hair, giving yujin more access.

you let out a soft moan and yujin smirked knowing she found the spot. yujin starts sucking on it harder, hard enough to leave a mark.

once yujin finished she pulled back and reconnected your lips once again. yujin and you continued to kiss forgetting about everything but each other.

yujin pulled away for a quick second earning a displeased sigh from you.

"so you were like a hundred percent serious?" yujin asked.

"yes yujin. did you think i would say no? yujin i like you. i've blatantly told you so many times" you chuckled lightly.

"yeah i know i was just nervous" yujin said.

you leaned in and grabbed yujin's face pressing their lips together. this wasn't like the kiss from earlier, it was shorter. you two pulled away from each other with a smile on your faces. you leaned your foreheads against each other's, smiles resting on their faces.

"don't be nervous yujin. i like you so so much" you told her.

yujin didn't say anything else, she didn't have to. the moment was already perfect enough, as cliche as that sounds. so she just smiled and went in for another kiss.

yujin sat down with her arms crossed next to you right after she had read your latest tweet. you were too occupied with your phone to notice the sulking girl next to you.

yujin purposely made some huffing noises to get your attention.

"oh hey, yujin" you hugged yujin and then laid on her lap before getting back on your phone.

yujin almost forgot the whole reason why she was sulking at the action, almost. she wasn't going to let you off this easy though.

"i saw your post on twitter" yujin said making you look up at her.

"oh... you know that was a joke" you laughed.

"you sure?" she asked.

"are you jealous yujin?" you smirked as you sat up.

"why would i be?" yujin asked with a straight face.

"i feel like you're jealous" you said in a teasing tone wrapping your arms around yujin's waist.

"i'm not" yujin tries to move out of your grip.

"you should introduce me to them then" you said making yujin roll her eyes.

"why? so you can go and date them instead" yujin got up from the couch, angry walking up the stairs.

if she wants yena and minju she can just have them, yujin thought as she laid on the bed.

a couple seconds later the door opened and yujin turned her body to face the opposite way of the door. yujin felt your weight on top of her but just pushed you off of her.

"yujinnn" you whined as you kept trying to cuddle into her.

"stop. go and date yena and minju" yujin replied.

"babe, baby, honey" you straddled the girl as yujin continued to ignore you.

"i was just joking i don't want to meet yena and minju" you said between kisses on yujin's face.

you began to move her kisses down to her neck with yujin not stopping you, "i'm also not gonna go date yena and minju because i want to date you"

"do you actually mean that?" yujin asked trying to keep a smile off of her face.

"of course yujin. you're the one i want to be with" you pecked the other girls lips. "don't you wanna be with me too" you grabbed yujin's face making you two look into each other's eyes.

"of course i do" yujin decided then at that very moment she needed to make this official as soon as possible.

yujin knocked on your door, exactly an hour later, just as she said she would.

as soon as you heard the knock you did a look over your outfit and hair because you still want to impress your girl. you made sure you had everything you needed before rushing over to the door and opening it, smiling as soon as you met eyes with yujin. "hi, i know we saw each other yesterday but i missed you"

yujin's eyes softened at the comment, "i missed you too"

you stepped out of the house, walking side by side to yujin's car. yujin opened the passenger side door for you, and you slid in gratefully. she then ran around the car to get into the driver's seat before starting the car and selecting a random playlist, that was actually song recommendations she got from wonyoung that you liked, but you didn't need to know all of that.

as she set the gps to the meetup location she glanced over at you, "you ready?"

"yep, now let's go meet my future girlfriends" you joked.

yujin playfully pouted, "but i'm your future girlfriend"

"i mean i'm up for grabs until you ask" you shrugged.

"trust me i'm working on it" yujin replied, a hint of sincerity in her voice.

the closer you got to the meetup location, the more your nerves went up. yujin noticed and asked if you were okay.

"i'm just worried i'll embarrass myself in front of them. not only are they some of my favorite idols they're also your friends and if i fuck this up it's over for me" you confessed, your anxiety bubbling to the surface.

"you'll be fine. i told them not to be too overwhelming for the first meeting. they love you, you'll be okay" yujin reassured.

"i don't know how much i trust that"

"do you trust me?"

"sometimes"

"well i need you to rely on that little bit of trust you have for me" she grinned as she pulled into the parking lot of some apartments and parked.

you shot her a glare before unbuckling your seatbelt, "i'm blaming you if anything goes wrong"

yujin grinned and rushed over to open your door, "for m'lady"

"oh, why thank you kind sir" you replied, playing along with her antics.

you two walked into the apartment complex together, yujin holding your hand to calm your nerves. needless to say, it was helping. once you two made it to the door yujin gave your hand a tight squeeze before ringing the doorbell, pulling you in to wave to the camera with her.

once they buzzed the two of you in, both minju and yena greeted you with open arms, and even though your anxiety was at its highest peak right now, you had to push through.

you took a deep breath before smiling at them and holding out your hand for a greeting, "hey, i'm y/n. i'm a huge fan of you both"

minju and yena smiled back at you. "yujin's told me so much about you! nice to finally meet you" minju exclaimed pulling you into a hug.

yena nodded enthusiastically, "yeah, i've been looking forward to meeting you since this morning"

you all sat down on the couch together and it wasn't long before yena started asking questions. "so what's the story here?"

"we kind of had an enemy-to-lovers thing going on" you told her.

"and what she means by that is she hated me" yujin spoke up.

"okay but you can't blame me, you did things that made me think you didn't like me so i just returned the favor" yujin added with a chuckle.

"she thought i wanted to beat her up behind a restaurant"

"i genuinely did think it was a set up"

"but then, yujin explained that she was too much of a pussy to tell me it was love at first sight" you said, teasingly.

"sounds like her" yena said, grinning.

"what's that supposed to mean?" yujin chuckled.

"you can't deny that you did do that" minju interjected.

"okay but in my defense, y/n made me shy"

"aww that's so cute" you said, lightly hitting yujin on the arm.

after the introduction, you all talked for a while about random topics before yujin had to leave the room.

"i'm gonna go to the bathroom for a second" yujin stood up from her seat and looked at minju and yena, "don't say weird shit to her while i'm gone"

"we would never. i can't believe you think we would even do such a thing" yena mocked, placing a hand over her heart.

"i don't think you would, i know you would" yujin replied. she gave you a reassuring tap on the shoulder before heading to the bathroom.

"so what kind of embarrassing stories do you want to know about yujin?" yena asked once the door closed.

"um not really but i do wanna ask what's she interested in. we've only recently realized our feelings for each other and i feel a bit guilty that she goes out of her way to do things for me, but i can't return the favor because i don't know her interest that well. that's actually one of the reasons i wanted to meet you all today - so i could find out more about her interests"

"you passed the test!" yena clapped loudly causing minju to playfully slap the older girl on the arm.

"she's joking, there was no test" minju reassured.

"but if there was you would have passed" yena whispered making you laugh.

"i know yujin prefers staying at home so she would rather do a stay-at-home date than a going-out one" minju told you.

"she really likes korean food. even if you take her to another country, she'll still want korean food" yena said.

they continued telling you more things which you took mental notes of, definitely using those suggestions later.

"i know yena found out about me this morning but what about you minju?" you turned to look at the older girl.

"i've actually known about you since the first time you two met" minju told you.

"oh really?" you leaned in closer, "what'd she say"

"she was all whipped but was mad that she made a bad first impression. then she kept complaining that she kept messing up around you. i'm glad you two finally worked out" minju revealed.

"i'm glad we did too" you smiled taking a sip of your drink. the warmth of minju's words filled you with a sense of reassurance, knowing that from the beginning, yujin had been drawn to you. it was a comforting thought, that strengthened your bond with yujin.

once the bathroom door opened back up yena quickly changed the topic, "so y/n, i heard you're an influencer. what kind of videos do you do?"

you smiled, grateful for her interest, even if it was for a quick topic change, "so i mostly do travel content, cooking videos, quick vlogs, stuff like that"

"you should watch her content sometimes. it's really good" yujin said as she sat back down.

you turned to look at her shocked, "you watch my content?"

"of course i do. you're my future girlfriend, i wanna support everything you do" yujin told you sincerely.

yena and minju were dramatically freaking out over the scene in front of them.

"they're having a literal k-drama moment right now. it's so cute" minju commented.

ch. 16 ⤍ late night facetime

as you were getting ready for bed, your ringtone went off indicating you had an incoming facetime call. you picked it up from your desk and saw it was kazuha. you looked in the mirror making sure you were presentable enough before answering.

"heyy i was hoping you were still up" kazuha said once you answered.

"yeah i'm just getting ready for bed now" you told her.

"oh okay. i just wanted to see how you were doing after the game"

"ohh i'm good. it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be"

"oh-i called to make sure you were alright after everything but you seem to be doing fine"

"that's cute that you called to check up on me but i'm fine. no need to worry about me"

"we should still stay on the phone for each other's comfort" kazuha's voice wavered slightly.

"did you call me because you were scared?" you asked with a small laugh.

"noo" kazuha denied, "i called to make sure you weren't scared"

"fucking pussy" you joked.

kazuha gasped in response, "that's you! you're the one who hid in a corner for the first part of the game"

"at first! but then i got out of my little corner just for you to take my spot. i mean, come on, kazuha you're supposed to be the fearless one here" you pointed out, unable to hide your amusement.

"it's not my fault every time i would try and do something a new thing appears" kazuha tried to defend herself.

"that's the whole point of horror games"

"i will not be accepting true statements at this time"

"if that's how you wanna live your life then that's fine" you chuckled.

"anyways anything interesting happen at any of your video shoots recently?" kazuha asked resting her head on her hand and keeping her eyes on the screen to let you know she was paying attention.

"oh! so in the video we filmed the other day i went on a date with gaeul and yujin. we ate pork cutlet together and it was nice.." as you continued to talk about the shoot kazuha tried to stifle her yawns.

"it's late. if you wanna go to sleep now i'm okay with it"

"no i'm up. just keep talking, i'm listening" kazuha told you.

you didn't push anymore and kept talking about everything you had done for the week, stories from the videos you filmed with your group members, late-night encounters with your roommates in the kitchen, and future activities you had planned. after a while of talking, you looked at your phone to see kazuha had fallen asleep. you took the time to admire how cute she looked while sleeping, resisting the urge to take some photos.

eventually, you began to feel sleepy and finally closed your eyes with the thought of kazuha in your mind.

some hours passed and you slowly opened your eyes after realizing your body decided you were getting up now. you went to pick up your phone to see the time; which is also when you had the realization that kazuha was still on the phone.

you quickly covered your face trying to rub the sleep out of yours before looking at the phone to see kazuha staring at you. once she realized you were up, she let out a small laugh before blinking fast and looking away from the phone suddenly interested in everything else in her room.

"morning" you voiced out in your morning voice after removing your hands from your face.

"you stayed on call?" kazuha asked softly finally turning back to look at you.

"i was too tired to push the button to hang up so i just went to sleep" you didn't add the part where you were too engrossed with how cute she was to hang up. she didn't need to know all of that.

"well now it feels rude to hang up"

"it's fine. i'm sure we both have things to do today. we can call tonight again though… if you would wanna do that" you trailed off at the end nervously.

"of course y/n. i'll call you when i'm get ready to go to bed tonight"

"okay. bye kazuha, talk later" you waved goodbye and she did the same before hanging up the call.

you eventually got on the game after a lot of reassuring from kazuha that she would protect you.

you two went through the first floor with no problems and moved onto the second one quickly. but as soon as you stepped out of the elevator for the second floor, you already knew it wouldn't be as easy.

as you continued to wander around the place, you heard some noises and immediately found a spot to hide. kazuha was looking around for clues when she noticed you weren't beside her anymore.

"y/n where are you?" kazuha asked as she moved her character around the dark room.

"hiding" you replied.

kazuha busted out laughing when she saw your character crouched in a corner with your back facing her.

"get up, we have to find information about the ghost" she told you once she got done laughing.

"you can do that alone. i'll be fine in this corner." you moved your mouse from left to right, making your character shake its head.

"you'll be fine. i'll be right beside you" kazuha tried to coax you into coming out of your hiding place.

you turned around slowly, letting go of your crouch button before walking over to kazuha.

"i'm putting my trust in you"

you definitely shouldn't have because the first opportunity kazuha had she let you walk into a room first before closing the door behind you.

"literally locked me in a room and told me to figure it out myself" you sighed as you looked on the shelves for the item you were supposed to find.

"what's it looking like in there?" kazuha asked from outside of the room.

"just some books-" you stopped talking to let out a loud scream making kazuha bust out laughing.

you turned your character around and went to the door to try and open it, "kazuha get me the fuck out of here"

"did you find what we need?" she asked.

"no. but you better open this door right now before that motherfucker comes back"

"okay okay" kazuha said between laughs and opened the door before entering.

"you actually fucking set me up" you swung the item in your hand at kazuha's character.

"sorry sorry. it was worth"

"i bet it was" you rolled your eyes already thinking of ways for revenge in your head.

"should we go in that room?" you asked kazuha who agreed hesitantly.

"you go first" when you said that, kazuha's character looked back and forth between you and the door before shaking her head no. you laughed at the action.

"but you're closer; you might as well just go in right now" kazuha said.

"and risk you locking me in again, hell no"

"that was a one-time thing, i promise, and how do i know you won't do that to me"

"then you deserve it" you stated.

"i said sorry" kazuha pouted in response.

"i don't know why you wanted to play this game so bad; you're even worse than me"

"i like watching you get scared" kazuha admitted.

"of course you do" you decided to take one for the team and open the door before going inside, immediately looking behind you to make sure kazuha was following you and not locking you inside again.

kazuha followed you into the dark room looking down at the floor and closing her eyes to avoid any jumpscares. as she was doing that, the chat began spamming the chat that eunchae was in the room, but of course, she didn't see the warnings.

"hey zuha" eunchae walks into kazuha's scaring the absolute shit out of her as she screams and curls into her chair.

"eunchae!" kazuha moves her out of her face to give her a deadpanned look.

"y/n wanted me to check on you and make sure you're alright" eunchae replied through some laughter.

"well as you can see" kazuha gestured to herself and then the game on the screen, "i'm not"

once eunchae left the room still laughing, kazuha turned back around to face the screen again. "that was so messed up" kazuha told her chat.

"eunchae just came in my room and scared the shit out of me" kazuha told you once she calmed down.

"oh she did it; i need to see the clip!" you exclaimed.

"you set that up" kazuha looked at her camera in disbelief at your actions.

"you literally lead me to every single jumpscare. i think it was well deserved"

later on in the game, you and kazuha decided to focus on the actual purpose of the game, collecting items. you were following her mindlessly, trusting her completely since she seemed so confident about where the next item was.

"when you said you were taking me out on a date, i didn't think this is what you meant" you said as you nervously moved your character down the hallway.

"is this not romantic enough for you" kazuha joked.

"what was it?" you asked once you returned to a safe place.

you two waited for the noises to stop before planning how you two would get the next item. after the plan was finalized, you waited a little before going back outside.

"i think we're good to go now" kazuha told you.

you opened the door first, taking a couple of steps out of the room before the creature jumped out of the vents right in front of you. the jumpscare made you jump away and off your chair, hitting a drink on your table on the way down, making a loud noise.

kazuha heard the whole thing happened, and once she sobered up from laughing, she immediately worried for you.

"y/n are you okay?" you groaned as you tried to recover from the jumpscare and your desk breaking.

"y/n...?" she repeated.

"i hate this game" you mumbled into your mic.

"are you okay?" she asked once you responded.

"i spilled my drink on my keyboard; i hate it here"

once you finally recovered, you grabbed some cleaning supplies to clean up your desk and keyboard. after you finished, you closed the game with the excuse that it closed while cleaning the keyboard.

"so that seems like enough for tonight" you tried to end as you sat back down.

"we go again tomorrow"

"you can go again tomorrow. i will be playing a peaceful game tomorrow" you said.

"i'll make you play a horror game again someday" kazuha said.

"yeah totally" you agreed while shaking your head at the camera.

"i'll call you later though" kazuha told you.

"today or...?"

"tonight"

"oh-okay, talk later" you shyly said before leaving the call.

after you picked yujin up you two went to a cafe in a plaza that you planned to walk around with her later. you went up to the counter to order two americanos for the both of you as yujin sat down at a table towards the back of the cafe. once the drinks were done and paid for, you grabbed them and took them to the table yujin chose. you sat down her drink in front of her and sat down across from her.

"so" yunjin took a sip of her drink before speaking again, "what's the plan for today"

"well since you're like successful and busy all the time. i thought we could walk around and explore" you explained.

"oh so you're my tour guide" yujin said with an amused smile on her face.

"yep i expect a nice tip after this" you joked.

"what forms of payment do you accept, because i can think of a nice one" yujin winked.

"like what?" you asked.

"something like a kiss" yujin boldly said. 

"you have to earn it" you leaned forward over the table, "i don't just kiss random people"

"then what am i here for then?" yujin joked as you leaned back and laughed.

"so you don't enjoy my company, you're only using me for your own pleasure" you faked an annoyed tone. 

yujin began to panic thinking she messed everything up, "wait no! i didn't mean it like that-i was just saying-"

you cut her off laughing, "i know yujin i was just joking"

"ah-okay" yujin visibly calmed down.

"you're also not a random person to me; you could kiss me anytime if you want to" you offered.

"even right now?" she asked to which you nodded at. 

yujin looked around to make sure nobody was looking before leaning over the table and giving you a quick kiss. she sat back down on her chair and took a sip of her drink to hide the blush forming on her face.

eventually, you two got bored of sitting in the restaurant you two decided to go outside and actually explore.

you pointed out random shops and the best places to eat hoping yujin would note that down for future reference.

when you two stopped in random stores to shop around for things you were interested in. if you looked at an item for too long yujin would immediately offer to buy it for you.

yujin took a hat off the rack trying it on. she looked at you for approval to which you responded with, "yujin-ah, so pretty" you took out your phone taking multiple pictures with the flash on to act like paparazzi as yujin did some poses.

at that same store, you two tried on some more random accessories and took pictures together in a mirror.

later on you two were at a convenience store for snacks. once you were both done picking out snacks, you went to sit down on a bench outside of the store.

"good because i tried my hardest today. i even gave you a personal photoshoot" you said.

"best tour guide i've ever had" yujin commented. 

"i have so many photos of you now" you laughed as you scrolled through the spam photos you took of yujin from the day.

"i could sell these and make a lot of money" you mumbled to yourself.

yujin leaned over your shoulder to look at the photos while you swiped, "you're actually really good at taking photos"

"it helps my subject was extremely pretty" you complimented.

yujin laughed lightly, "you should always take my photos from now on"

"shittt, i'll always be willing to take photos of you"

yujin's voice turned playful as she responded, "you wanna become my personal photographer?"

you began to think about it, "hmmm, what do i get out of it?"

"for starters, you'll get to be around me" yujin smiled at the thought.

"is that really a perk though?" you commented.

"secondly, you'll see me more"

"sounds the same as the first one to me"

"third, you'll get to take pictures of me"

"all these reasons don't seem beneficial to me at all"

yujin grinned, her mood improving almost immediately, "in that case, i guess i can tell them i want them to meet somebody important to me"

you tried to hide your excitement from yujin so she wouldn't get pouty again.

"you really are the best yujin" you said with a smile on your face.

"i know it's almost like you should date me or something" yujin said in a joking tone but she was 100% serious.

"chill. you gotta ask me first" you chuckled.

"will you accept when i actually do ask?"

"maybe we'll see" you definitely would say yes no matter what though. she could even ask you right now and you would say yes.

"i'll make sure you say yes" yujin stated.

"kazuha" you tapped her shoulder trying to get her to wake up so you could leave, "i'm leaving now"

"no... stay" she didn't open her eyes but made grabby hands towards you.

"i have to get back before your roommates see me"

"just stay" she finally grabbed onto you pulling you back onto the bed. damn she is strong. guess the workout routine is true.

she cuddled back into you making herself comfortable again before going back to sleep.

you sighed knowing you couldn't escape and just accepted your fate. who cares if your roommates noticed you weren't back yet, and who cares if one of her roommates walked in and saw you?

eventually, you did have to get up since you had a video you were supposed to be filming.

"kazuha i'm leaving for real now. i'll text you when i get home" you told the japanese girl.

"mhmm. i'll see you later" she mumbled cutely finally letting you go.

you quietly got out of her bed, getting your stuff. your goal was to get out of the house without being seen, and since it was early you were hoping nobody was up yet.

you said another goodbye to kazuha before leaving her room, shutting the door lightly. you slowly made your way to the front door and when it was in sight you heard a sound behind you.

"y/n!" yunjin gasped loudly. of course, yunjin's loud ass would be the one to see you.

"shhh. you can't see me" you waved your hand hoping she was too tired to realize.

"did you spend the night here?!" she exclaimed just as loud making you slap your hand over her mouth.

"no of course not" you said in a hushed tone, "i had to talk over something with kazuha this morning which is why i'm here"

"that's why she wanted to be left alone last night" yunjin mumbled to herself once you removed your hand since she calmed down.

"it was just a last-minute thing. we didn't wanna bother anybody" you tried to make it look better.

"i get it y'all wanted to be alone" yunjin winked causing you to cover your face.

"no it was just a friendly sleepover" you denied.

"uh huh sure" yunjin nodded not believing you, "she told us to leave her alone for the night so she could have a sleepover with a 'friend'. i know what you two are"

you sighed knowing you couldn't convince her that it was just a friendly thing. because even you weren't sure if last night was supposed to be friendly after that moment you two had.

fortunately, you got a message your uber was a minute away. you took that as a time to get away from yunjin and her suspicions. kazuha can deal with that.

kazuha walked out of her room a couple of minutes after posting the picture to see everybody in the living room. she sat down on the couch letting out a sigh of relief when she realized nobody saw the post yet. she knew they would ask questions once they saw but she didn't want to be bombarded with questions as soon as she got into the room.

it didn't last long as a couple of minutes later eunchae stood up dramatically.

"zuha! is this real?" eunchae asked showing her phone to kazuha to make sure the post wasn't a lie.

"yeah it's real" kazuha nodded casually.

"what is it?" sakura asked curiously.

eunchae got up showing the post to sakura and chaewon.

"zuha!" chaewon exclaimed in shock, "is this actually real"

"i just said it was" kazuha said casually again.

sakura, chaewon, and eunchae immediately turned to her asking questions about what she did last night.

"i invited her over. no we didn't do anything else except for watch a movie and sleep" kazuha told her group.

everyone except yunjin looked shocked about the information.

"you knew?" chaewon asked yunjin noticing how unfazed she looked by the information.

"i saw y/n leave this morning" yunjin revealed.

"and you weren't gonna tell us"

"i thought they wanted to keep it a secret" yunjin shrugged, "apparently not though because kazuha literally posted it"

"i really thought something was wrong with you last night" sakura said.

"same! i was so ready to comfort her this morning but apparently she was trying to hang out with her girlfriend without us" eunchae said.

"she's not my girlfriend... yet" kazuha said the last part quietly. luckily nobody picked up on it or they just pretended not to hear it.

"i actually walked past zuha's room all sad and worried if she was okay, and then i see y/n sneaking out of her room" yunjin told everybody. "i was in such a state of shock i thought i was hallucinating for a minute"

"i didn't know you were sneaky like this zuha" sakura mumbled to herself.

"damn. really gotta watch out for kazuha now, always doing something i don't expect" chaewon said.

ch. 13 ⤍ sleepover

you thanked your uber driver before getting out of the car. you walked towards the front door seeing kazuha waiting for you there. you two greeted each other before kazuha opened the door letting you in and closing the door behind you two.

"how'd you find the house? i never told you where i live" kazuha asked as you walked to her room.

"i realized that when i was ordering the uber so i just hoped you lived with sakura"

"ah okay" kazuha nodded

you set your stuff down in the corner of her room.

"so what are we doing?" you asked as you walked back over to kazuha, "we didn't really make any plans"

"we can watch a movie in the living room" kazuha suggested.

"what if your roommates see us?" you asked.

"they should all be asleep now, we have a busy day tomorrow" kazuha told you.

"y'all are busy? why did you invite me over then!" you exclaimed.

"because i missed you and i wanted to hang out. i'll be fine"kazuha shrugged.

you sighed, "you should sleep; we'll hang out another time"

"hey, i'm the one who invited you over. i might be more tired in the morning but it'll be worth" kazuha reassured you.

"fine. one movie then we'll go to sleep" you said.

kazuha cheered leading you out towards the living room. she gave you the remote, so you could pick something while she was getting stuff from the kitchen. she was extra quiet as she grabbed you two some snacks and drinks out of the kitchen.

kazuha returned to the living room a couple of minutes with everything, setting it down on the coffee table in front of the couch. she sat down next to you as you tried to find a movie.

"i don't know what to watch" you said as you scrolled through the netflix catalog.

you passed a certain horror movie and you quickly went past it but kazuha noticed and pointed it out. "you wanna watch a horror movie?"

"i would prefer not to" you replied as you kept scrolling.

"come on, it'll be fun. i'm right here if you need somebody to grab onto" kazuha winked.

"i mean if that's the case" you mumbled hesitantly going back to the horror movie.

once you clicked on the movie kazuha grabbed her bottle and opened it, taking some sips before putting it back on the table and getting more comfortable on the couch.

as the beginning credits rolled, you moved to rest your head on kazuha's shoulder. it took her by surprise but she didn't complain just letting you stay.

halfway through the movie, you two were basically cuddling because of how many jump scares brought you two closer.

kazuha sat up quickly and stretched out her arms as the ending credits rolled out, "well that was a good movie. we should probably head to bed now though"

"weren't you the one who wanted to watch a horror movie; why were you just scared the whole time?" you chuckled.

"i didn't expect it to be that scary though"

"it really wasn't that scary" you mumbled.

"don't act like you weren't scared. i swear you grabbed my hand tighter at some parts" kazuha retorted.

"prove it"

"then you wouldn't mind watching another one" kazuha grabbed the remote and sat back down. 

"don't you have a busy day tomorrow" you took the remote and turned the tv off.

"next time then, we'll see who was more scared"

"already planning another date?" you grinned, "i don't know if i like you enough to hang out with you more after this"

"says the one who cuddled me on the first opportunity you had" kazuha pointed out.

"that was- you know what it's your fault for being so comfortable" you finally stood up so you two could go back to her room. 

kazuha just laughed in response standing up as well. you two cleaned up the trash and made your way back to kazuha's room. after talking for a little while longer you and kazuha decided to go to bed finally.

"i didn't really think about the whole bed situation" kazuha awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck.

"it's okay" you chuckled.

"i can sleep on the floor and you take the bed" kazuha suggested.

"but it's your bed, i don't wanna kick you out of your own bed. i'll take the floor"

kazuha shakes her head, "no you're the guest"

"which is why i can take the floor"

"would you make me take the floor at your house?" kazuha asked.

"well no but..."

"exactly so i'll take the floor"

"...my house has a bunch of air mattresses so the floor is never an option" you finished.

"we are still kind of new; we don't get that many guests"

"you know i actually kind of like sleeping on the floor when it's cold. as long as i have some blankets and pillows i'll be alright"

kazuha ignores you going outside of her room to a closet in the hallway. she pulls out some sheets, blankets, and pillows. she then comes back to the room and sets it down for herself.

you look between kazuha and the bed as an idea comes to your mind.

"kazuha" you say making the japanese girl look up at you, "what if we just share the bed"

"we-" kazuha blushes as she sits there looking shocked before letting out a small laugh, "don't say that, i thought you were serious for a moment"

"i am serious" you state, "it's not that big of deal. it's not like we have any other option since neither one of us wants the other on the floor"

kazuha thinks about it for a moment before placing the blankets and pillows she had grabbed on the bed and putting the sheets back in the closet.

"i guess that'll work. my bed is pretty big" kazuha says.

you smile in response, waiting for kazuha to move onto her bed before you do.

you and kazuha were facing each other and had been talking for a couple of hours now. every time you two accidentally touched one of you would move away fast.

as time passes on you both get tired and stop replying to each other. then all of a sudden when you were trying to get more comfortable, your hand accidentally touches kazuha's. instead of pulling back fast like she normally would her hands run over the back of your hand boldly.

"y/n you still up?" kazuha asks.

"yeah" you answer softly.

"can we get closer?" you blush slightly at the question.

"only if you're ready to take it that far" you whisper to her playfully.

kazuha laughs, and a few seconds later you feel the bed dip; you blinked before opening your eyes to see kazuha's face right in front of yours.

you sit there holding your breath waiting for kazuha to say something about her sudden decision, but she doesn't.

instead of saying something, she grabs your hand pulling it towards her stomach, "you said you wanted to touch my abs right?" she said innocently as she let your hand hover over her stomach.

you almost choked at the predicament you were in and the way she was speaking wasn't making it any better. it was like she was trying to kill you.

"i mean i was joking but i won't miss the opportunity" you finally managed to muster up some words after a couple of seconds of silence.

"go on then" kazuha let go of your hand to lift her shirt to give you easy access.

you slowly placed your fingers on kazuha's body. her abs really were rock solid.

you touched around the area, getting a quick feel before pulling your hand away. "i now see what the hype is about"

kazuha chuckled in response, "are you satisfied now?"

"i mean i'll probably have to do it again at some later point but for now, yeah" you nodded sleepily.

you were in the middle of making some breakfast for yourself in the kitchen when your phone went off indicating you had a message.

it was yujin.

"hello" yujin's voice was heard as soon as you answered the call.

"i've never heard your voice this deep before" you said after being caught off guard.

"i just woke up" yujin told you.

you couldn't help but blush at what she said, "and the first thing you thought about was me"

"sure. whatever you want to believe" yujin chuckled.

"yeah i know you think about me all the time" you teased.

"damn i'm caught" yujin joked.

"don't worry. you've been on my mind a lot lately too" you responded.

yujin smiled at your words, "good to know it's mutual. what are you doing right now though?"

"making myself some breakfast, what about you?"

"just laying in bed still. i haven't found the motivation to get up yet"

"what are you making?"

"waffles, bacon, maybe some eggs too if i feel like it later"

"so would you make me breakfast like that when we're dating?"

"i mean this isn't my normal but maybe if you deserve it"

yujin laughed softly before responding, "is being your girlfriend not enough to deserve it"

"you say that like we're already dating"

"i'm just planning for the future"

"you'll just have to be a good girlfriend and we'll see if you get breakfast in the morning"

yujin's voice turned playful, "i'll keep that in mind for the future"

after a while of talking, the conversation turned more serious.

"yujin... are we actually thinking about becoming an 'us?'" you asked.

yujin sighed running a hand through her hair, "i mean i want to become an 'us' of course but the final decision is all up to you"

"well there's obviously something between us, but i just wanna know if you're serious or if you're just playing. let me know now"

"y/n i told you on our first date that i want to show you how much i like you and i meant that" yujin stated, "if you're willing to go serious with me then we will"

you couldn't help but smile at her words, "yeah i guess i would like that"

"so when i ask you out, you better say yes" yujin told you.

currently, you were live-streaming playing valorant with gaeul, jiwon, rei, and hyunseo. you were all on a winning streak.

since the games were going well, you only interacted with chat when you were dead,. 

as you were catching up thanking some subs and bits that you recived, you read a comment that got your attention immediately.

"why? i swear if she's doing something to expose me again i'm actually fighting her" since you were dead you decided to tab out and check her stream before the next round started. 

once you pulled her stream up, you immediately saw why people were urging you to join it.

this girl is really shoving her abs in the camera and then smiling like innocently like she didn't do what she just did.

once your team noticed you were out of the game and you weren't responding gaeul yelled at you, "y/n! y/n! get your head in the game!"

"shit" you freaked out tabbing back into the game, "sorry my bad. i'm here, ready to play. i'm back"

you quickly bought your loadout and ran to where the rest of the team was. you saw that you had a couple of more seconds before the round started, so you picked up your phone to send a quick message to kazuha.

you played through the round, but once the last person was killed you opened up kazuha's stream on your second monitor. since she was doing a workout stream she wasn't paying as much attention to chat which led you to say whatever you wanted in the chat.

after that, you had the time to ask yourself why you just agreed, but you also had the time to notice that you were still in a valorant game.

"y/n is really quiet today" hyunseo pointed out.

"it's because y/n keeps tabbing out when she's dead" rei complained making you look back at the game and finally take notice of your death count compared to everyone else's.

"i'm actually not tabbing out anymore" you retorted. i'm just using my second monitor.

"if we want to win we need y/n to be 100% in" jiwon declared.

"i am 100% in. i only stop paying attention to the game when i'm dead"

"are you dying on purpose to do whatever you're distracted with"

"no of course not" you said not convincing anybody with the tone.

when kazuha ended her stream you closed out of the tab on your second monitor, putting your attention back on the game you were playing.

"okay, i will be fully focused from now on" you sat up in your seat, and leaned closer to your monitor.

and you were until kazuha responded to your text from earlier.

"chat kazuha just invited me over but the last game just started" you told your chat as you put your phone down, "i need y'all to not snitch on me so i can get ready"

you turned your camera off so you could do your face routine and brush your teeth. didn't need anybody taking any screenshots of those moments.

you took the time while the game was loading in and the period of time before the first round starts to do a speed run of your face routine. luckily the game took forever to load in so by the time the first round was about to start you only had your face mask left.

rei noticing you were still afk asked you, "y/n what are you even doing right now"

"sorry i'm in the middle of my face routine right now" you apologized as you grabbed your face mask for the last step.

"ain't no way you're doing this again" rei said, "it's my rank up game y/n"

"i'm not even that distracted this time" you said as you ran to a random site.

the game was going well at 10-2 at the second half. everybody was warmed up, plus you had the dedication to get out of the game so you could leave and everybody else wanted to help rei rank up.

"this game needs to hurry up. i'm trying to get the fuck out of here" you expressed.

"same" hyunseo agreed, "are you tired too?"

"no, i'm going out after this game is over"

"since when?" gaeul asked.

"since i got invited" you answered like it was obvious.

"where are you even going? we don't have anything planned tonight" jiwon asked you.

"to hang out with one my friends" you informed her.

"huh? at this time?" jiwon checked her time again only to see it was indeed 11 o'clock.

"one of my friends just texted me and asked me to come over. it was last minute" you explained.

"can you at least finish the game"

"i am. i'm just getting ready so i can leave as soon as the game is over" you said.

at match point, you decided to brush your teeth which didn't turn out to be a good idea because you needed your other hand to actually play.

"sage and raze are both lit" you called out slightly muffled because you were brushing your teeth.

"huh? what did you even just say?" jiwon asked confused.

"sage and raze are both lit" you repeated after you moved the toothbrush out of your mouth.

"1 hookah, out hookah" jiwon one-tapped the sage killing her instantly.

jiwon sent out a blind while backing into garden.

"you win these liz" hyunseo whispered.

jiwon killed the last person with another one-tap winning the game.

you unmuted and cheered for both jiwon and rei, "congrats on ranking up rei. i'm so proud of you i really watched you grow up" you left the call not waiting for any type of response. you turned your camera back on to say your goodbyes to your stream. after ending the stream you got ready to leave for kazuha's house.
