A body has been discovered!

My piece for @oumotazine2! I was really honored to be a part of this project even if life... got in the way multiple times, and I'm a little late to the party posting my piece finished haha.

I've always been curious about what would have happened if these two never got the chance to finish carrying out their plan. They still would have had a locked room mystery where no one could tell who died first, and since the theme of the zine was canon divergence? I thought why not explore that idea!

Now the folks who bought the zine (thank you all so much btw!) might notice that your printed/digital copy looks a little different from this.

Truth be told I missed out a lot of details I wanted to add to the finished version and just couldn't make work during the production period, life did get in the way at the time but I didn't want that to stop me from making it perfect post haste.

so I hope you all enjoy the true finished version of this piece!

Local lyric comic artist makes another lyric comic after years of silence.

Honestly, I don't know how to talk about this comic. I drafted it in 2020 when I still enjoyed Radiohead and was in the throes of my Danganronpa obsession. I picked up working on it again in October last year and have been chipping away at it ever since, just finishing it this past weekend.

It's surreal to see this finished, and I'm really proud of it. This song felt very fitting lyrically, and I had a lot of fun depicting ch 5.

Anyways back to the pit with me 💙

THIS was my piece for the @everybodyloveshajime zine and I am so so so so so proud to share it with the world after months of production and patience... and also waiting for my partner to finish sdr2 lol.

I've got an explanation for this one under the read more, but regardless of if you read all that, I'm so genuinely proud of this piece and I'm so happy to share it with the world. I love these two <3

When I was assigned Chiaki for this project I already knew I had to do something to illustrate my love for the mutual tragedies these two had been through in both sdr2 and... as much as I hate to say it... dr3's despair arc.

Regardless of what you've seen with these two and how much you adopt into your personal canon the fact can't be denied: by the time sdr2 happened neither Hajime nor Chiaki technically existed anymore. Hajime's consciousness should never have come back considering what the Kamukura project did to him, and Chaiki was an artificial consciousness designed to help rehabilitate the Remnants of Despair. Neither of them... should have existed AND YET- both of them had real and tangible effects on the people around them.

Considering what dr3 introduced their story is just... so much sadder. Thinking about them being friends, Hajime losing himself to try and be someone worthy of being her friend and Chiaki being made a spectacle to torment her classmates all while wondering where that boy she used to hang out with went. As much as I dislike the anime I was so gut wrenched realizing that these characters had history.

So I wanted to draw that final scene... where Chiaki comforts Hajime and gives him the strength to make the decision he needed to. It's important to me.

Even if Hajime died then and there, if him and Chiaki would never be recovered both of them left an impact on those around them and that means...

that both of them... were real.

Pardon me for asking: but do you ever intend to return to that Post-Death DRV3 AU? Or has the interest in it worn out? It's a bit of a shame, since Post-Death Ghost Characters are very interesting.

For the foreseeable future I don't think I, or mod prom, will revisit the Post-Death au.

I had a lot more passion for it when I had more recently finished the game, but it's been years, and I don't have the time or energy I used to when it comes to art, ESPECIALLY posting it and maintaining a social media account for it.

Christmas Eve

Okay I know it's actually Christmas proper and I'm LATE- but I had this idea and REALLY wanted to actually make it this year. Christmas Eve shows up in a few of my favorite things and I wanted to make a piece dedicated to that.

Included is Persona 5, Lemon Demon's Cabinet man, Ace Attorney and Toyko Godfathers.

I've got an older zine piece that will be released VERY soon, and an older lyric comic I'm finishing since my partner is playing sdr2, so keep an eye out for those!
