do u think jackson ever found out it wasn't a robbery gone wrong? do u think he found out through the grapevine and in a weird game of telephone what happened and he thought stiles himself was responsible for it? he makes his way to beacon hills to visit her grave and mourn her in person and he finds stiles doing the same and tries to fight him, acting out of grief? but then they actually talk about what happened and they realise they were both in a situation where their bodies were being taken over to commit murders and they have to live with that guilt, that trauma that blood on their hands forever? do u think they share an orange, a silent act of solidarity bc they're too uncomfortable to talk abt it anymore but they realise as much as they don't like each other, they're the only ones who really know what the other is going through? just girly thoughts

uhhh i didn’t wanna make this post. i’ve written and unwritten this post multiple times, but since i’ve noticed people are still following me so i just wanted to say—

this blog is on a hiatus.

meaning i’m not writing on here and uh to be frank i’m not really thinking about it. i’m totally okay, i haven’t fallen off the face of the earth lol, i’ve just been writing on different blogs.

i never thought i’d be someone who goes on a hiatus. i figured when i lost the muse i’d just jump back when it jumped up. i know there’s no time limit for writing, but it’s been two months since i’ve written anything on here and i think it’s safe to say that jackson is pretty quiet.

if and when muse for him returns, the next steps would honestly be probably archiving this blog and moving to a new fresh one like i’ve done for malia. or, at the very least, dropping most of my threads and starting anew. but im just not really focused on jackson right now, sooooo i’m not in a rush to make those changes. if he comes back, he comes back.

in the meantime! if you wanna still write teen wolf i’ve revamped my malia blog that was once at @ohdeer-malia and is now at @unferaled i also have a multi blog that is heavily under construction but it features tw muses among others that you can find that at @buriedrose

i’ve been seeing a lot of people recently complaining about losing motivation to role play / feeling super ooc / or losing the will to write. canon muses or oc’s alike, people have been down in some creative dump everywhere. and i feel like that it’s time that i said something. i’ve given advice to some of the people i’ve seen but the number keeps growing so i figure i’d make a post about this:

i have been rping for 12+ years now. when i started i didn’t have a care in the world. i was doing what i wanted to do. but then i did start caring about my portrayal and what i was doing. i wanted to do the best i could and shovel out as much as i can. i wanted to try and give my fans what they wanted to see.

this is a huge mistake. and i didn’t really learn it until just a few months ago.

i’ve noticed that i tend to feel ooc the most when i’m pushing too hard. when i’ve been going for too long or when i force myself to do more than i can. i used to try and reply to things daily. i used to cry a lot because i would get so stressed about being accurate. which admittedly, is both good and bad. it shows that you care about what you’re doing and that’s good, but at the same time a hobby shouldn’t force you to be down in such a drastic low.

if you start to feel that you can’t write as well, stop. if you start to feel ooc, stop. if you start to feel like you’re doing too much, stop. it doesn’t mean that you have to stop completely by any means! but just don’t do anything. your brain is done. you don’t want to write anymore. you don’t want to role play. your body, your mind, even if it’s subconscious, wants to do something else.

does that mean you’re done forever? no. does that mean you’re actually ooc? absolutely not. it just means that you have lost the luster for that specific day. you can always come back later when you want to role play. when you want to write. i don’t mean take a break. because i know that doesn’t help everyone and it often leads to people never coming back. but, when you feel that you can’t do anything else but write / role play / die without getting a headcanon down on a post, that’s when you need to come back. when that urge or that desire or that muse hits you.

tl ; dr –   if you’re feeling unmotivated for whatever reason, don’t force yourself to keep going. that will make you want to rp less. do it when your mind and body wants you to, and you’ll find yourself twice as motivated as you were before. even if that means not being online for two weeks.

okay so ive been thinking & debating for a couple of weeks. . .

i still wanna write on here obvi but things have gotten so backed up that i think im gonna drop a lotta old threads, dump out my ask box and move forward with some Fresh Content™ if i happen to drop our thread we can absolutely still write! but it's just that i owe so much that being on here looks daunting sometimes and looking at the stuff in my drafts/inbox feels like a mountain to climb rather than a fun hobby.

i'm also going to be updating my rules and possibly changing my selectivity just for my peace of mind so things don't get out of control. i don't want that to deter any new writers from wanting to write with me, there's a 99% chance I'll write with you, but I just need a better system of keeping this blog organized. thank u!!
