I just realized that all of Piers' Pokemon except Skuntank have a double weakness. Obstagoon is 4x weak against Fighting, Malamar is 4x weak against Bug, Scrafty is 4x weak against Fairy and Toxtricity is 4x weak against Ground.

I don't get it. Pokemon were around for millions of years, long before humans. Humans and Pokemon lived and worked together throughout history, even thousands of years before Legends:Arceus takes place and yet the Hisuian people act like Pokemon are a recent phenomenon. Did they originally live in an isolated region without Pokemon?
