Alright everyone Kano is back at it on the morning train, but it's 7 now so I'm a little more lucid I hope

Anyway bando alle ciance ciancio alle bande, Hybrids, and today it's a brief word on the draconic features, and the dragon power too if this doesn't end up being too long, and also xenorphin that's very important

I already explained what is meant as draconic features, it's wings, tail and eventual mutations of an hybrid, that can be mutated on or surgically installed on the subject

Let's start with wings, they're of course dragon wings used for flight, but also as shields, since the bigger kinds are pretty thick as well, there are four categories of wing size, each with their advantage, disadvantages and flying speed, the categories are small, medium, large and very large, very large winged hybrids can't normally takeoff by themselves, they need their wings to not touch the ground to be able to takeoff, else they risk to get their wings stuck in the ground

Alright next feature is the tail, unlike wings, tails are classified with two criteria: length and thickness; length, as the wingspan actually, is relative to the height, there are three categories of length, short long and very long, the short one barely touches the ground, making short tailed hybrids more fit for ground combat; thickness is also divided into three classes, thick, thin and very thin, very thin tails are very fit for agility-based hybrids, mainly ones with small wings, fit for tight spaces and fast reactions; the main reason of the tails though, is not combat, but flight stability, I'll talk more about it in a future post, but earlier tailless hybrids fly have an harder time keeping up balance when flying, and have an harder time with sharp turns

Last but not least we have mutations, they actually very rarely affect performance or other important things, they're leftovers from mutating wings and tail or from large quantities of xenorphin, which I'm gonna talk about in a bit, the most common kinds are scales and pigment spots (they look like birthmarks), but there also are rarer ones like pseudo claws, additional pairs of wings or bioluminescence, usually a large amount of mutations is either a sign of a job well done, as the dragon dna is rooted in enough to give other somewhat useful imperfections, or a sign that a job has went horribly, because the dna is so rooted in the subject that is probably affecting their brain capabilities or has problems elsewhere

NOW Xenorphin what is it, it's a medicine given to all hybrids 3rd gen downwards to avoid their body rejecting the draconic features and making them sick or die because of infections cause by their antibodies rejecting the new parts and eventually losing because dragon immune system is far better than human, plus it also works a bit as a painkiller, especially needed by 1st generation hybrids, also xenorphin, since it contains a somewhat consistent part of dragon genes, causes mutations to change or sprout, especially in first gen hybrids, since they're the biggest users of it

As a closure as always a little bit of trivia, xenorphin keeps getting produced for hybrids because it's cheaper to keep giving 3rd and under gens xenorphin than to have to make more 4th gen hybrids that don't need it

About time I talked about Hybrids, I mentioned them in Endrake's and Jacob Jr's post but haven't gone into detail ofc, just a little heads up this is practically part 1 of a series of hybrid info I'm gonna post, because it's a lot and I kinda want to keep my lore bite-sized on this blog

Also disclaimer number two the universe I'm talking about is like a beta of the of which is also the universe the reincarnation AU is set in so imma put all this both in og universe and beta universe

Ok SO today we're starting from the basics

What are hybrids?

Hybrids, as the name suggests, are human/dragon hybrids, they've been created on the planet Sirius to deal with the evergrowing deal of dragons, a native and invasive species to Sirius, that has been terrorising the people and destroying the cities, hybrids are the supposed solution to this dragon problem, they appear as humans with wings, tail and different mutations, they're stronger than the average human, have regenerative qualities and, from the 3rd generation forward, also manifest what's known as "Dragon Power", which is a power given depending on the dragon DNA fused with the subject.

Just to introduce more terminology, wings and tail and sometime mutations as referred to as draconic features

Before we talk about draconic features, let's talk about general features of the hybrids, specifically the superhuman strength, which is given either by genetic mutation or mechanical inserts, depending on the generation, hybrids can lift an average of 75kg to 200kg with little to no effort, and can hit with enough force to crack human bones up until being able to perforate dragon skin, plus they are extremely durable and resistant, up to 3rd generation onwards they are almost bulletproof (requiring either gas or energy based weapons for termination) and they resist toxins, fire, acid, extremely cold and heat, and electricity, making them very useful working with most kind of dragons, some could also resist either of them better because of their dragon power.

The other feature we're talking about today is their regenerative capabilities, which appear from 2nd generation forward, they have augmented regenerative capabilities, they're able to regenerate most wounds and recover partial or total limb loss, depends on the generation as well, the wound will leave a scar behind in all cases, and of course will heal faster if the bleeding is stopped and the wound is properly closed, they can even regenerate large wounds to their heart, if no other wound is present and have enough time, it's also close to impossible for an hybrid that can regenerate to get ill

I'm going to conclude this part with a little specification, I mentioned using gas to terminate hybrids, the kind of gas used for this scope is highly poisonous and toxic, and specifically brewed to kill something as resistant as an hybrid, needless to say it's also incredibly toxic to other living creatures who don't resist toxins and poisons

Hi hi hi hi hi I NEED NEED to tell you something that came out of a conversation with my dear worldbuilder friend omg omg so it's about Exp in the reincarnation AU ok ok

As a prologue I need to tell y'all a few things because I haven't drawn in a while the older Exp but basically in a design I made a good while ago (mid/end 2020) Exp in his older age lacks both legs, plus a whole hand (promptly substituted with a fine prostethic) and three fingers on the other hand (those too promptly substituted with a fine prostethic) but the point now is that he lost the other leg and we specifically talked about how!!

So so basically in that AU Exp is back from a planet full of dragons and both directly and stringing from his son's DNA he got a few samples of dragon genes that he wanted to put to the use to create a whole dragon, WELL, he did create something akin to a dragon, a 4 meters tall winged reptiloid, and well hm, Exp has an habit, especially with newer creatures, to directly go into their enclosures to feed them, confident in his fake immortality and electric stick (think of like a really long taser thingy I'll give details on another post ig)

ALRIGHT SO his own confidence wasn't enough to save him this time because once DG9 inevitably bit him, it didn't just bite rip and run, which would have gotten exp a time window to crawl out of the enclosure, it bit and held there, trying to figure out basically how to eat the man whole, and the second that he was on the ground and couldn't get away Exp, for the very first time in 60 years, felt a gut wrenching, nerve-wracking fear and instinctively just screamed for help

Fortunately for him (but not humanity) as soon as Jacob Jr heard (very soon btw the boy has some veery good reflexes) he came to the rescue, and that was the first and probably only time that Jacob Jr willing hurt an animal or animal-like thing and especially the only time Jacob Jr somewhat struggled in a strength feat, because even though his species is designed to be dragon killers first of all, though she comes close, not even the prime example of hybrid can take down an entire dragon by herself, secondly, he had to use only one hand to keep DG9 down, even though it isn't quite a dragon, he was pulling Exp's leg away with one hand and pushing the mutant away with the other, which eventually worked because he managed to just rip his father off, ripping the entire leg off in the process, all before he lost too much blood as well

Thing is that Exp found himself for the first time being completely and utterly scared, terrified even, and neither William or Jacob have ever heard him scream in absolute fear, and especially Exp never ever did question his own mortality like in this moment, he came back to his own normal little later while they were closing up his leg and making sure he wouldn't die of bloodloss, but for sure Mr Jacob im-basically-a-god Lawson got a taste of mortality and he for sure isn't going to forget about it, and of course brag about it for showing off his creation

Oh btw in the Lawson household opinions on whether Jacob Jr should have let DG9 eat Exp, Jacob Jr of course thinks he did the right thing because it's ofc his dad and even though he knows he's a war criminal, he's also a pretty darn good dad, William has very mixed opinions on the fact, because he knows for a certain humanity could use one Dr Exp less but also he would've kinda felt bad, 11D straight up told Jacob Jr he should've let DG9 eat Exp because the world doesn't really need him

Hello I'm back on my 6.30 am train delirium this night I dreamt about Ghastly so you're getting fantasy au Ghastly today

Christ I love her so much fr, she's always her arrogant violent authority-disobeying woman but this time she's a paladin, not just A paladin actually but The Paladin, so I mean the Major Paladin of the human kingdom, if y'all are asking Kano wtf r you talking about what does it mean, basically let's start from the beginning paladins are both political/military and religious figures in all kingdoms, they took an oath to protect first their fellow faithfuls and secondly their citizens, a minor paladin is one that took an oath and is serving the god and most probably also in the army while the Major Paladin is most likely a minor paladin who, for their qualities, has been chosen directly from their god to be their champion, in fact Major Paladins are also called Champions, there can be only one Champion at a time btw

Anyway so Ghastly became Atoq's Champion (Atoq being the god of sun and also the most important god of the human kingdom btw) almost by accident because, aside from her strength and bravery, she has none of the qualities you'd seen in earlier Sun Major Paladins, and while Atoq is aware of it, it's best to have her as a champion than to let anyone else have her as their champion, anyway she became the Major Paladin by accident, she took the oath in first place because of a loophole, basically you need to be 18 to join the army, but also the army by law has to allow anyone who took an oath of one of the main kingdom gods, with few exceptions, so, since she wanted to join the army, but was still 16, she took the oath and basically speedran the required feats to actually be blessed as such, and not too many years later the Major Paladin died, and so she was chosen as the new Major Paladin

That at first had a little backlash because the Sun Major Paladin is also the head of the royal guard and in case of war, holy or not, is the first person with the right to lead the entire army, and Ghastly clearly won't do any good in that position, she's still the head of the royal guard, but another person has been chosen as the leader of the army in case of war, plus her right to speak for the king has been revoked, because she's very foul mouthed and can't keep her cool

Ough this is being a very long post but i cannot not mention that another reason of backlash was her son, well, adopted son at least, once on a scouting mission, she found a baby demon that was abandoned, and decided to raise it as her own, baby Endrake is safe but not from the trauma of the war crimes he saw Ghastly commit, the problem with this though is that the human kingdom has been at war with the demon kingdom for ages and people are generally somewhat wary of demons and saw Ghastly as somewhat of a traitor, this of course before her war crimes against certain races, demons included, were told and made public, just to reassure the public that Endrake is literally just a child and Ghastly absolutely hates demons

Hi I am freezing to death at the train station but it's time to write about my ocs you get another miserable spy post today and this time it's grandpa Philippe's turn

Ngl when I first made him I didn't expect to get so affectionate to him but after a while I can say that he's among my fave TF2 OCS

It's very easy btw, he's an extremely simple spy, well, kinda, he has all the tf2 spy shtick, deadbeat dad, very wealthy assassin, kinda fruity the standard but also he's redeemed on being a bad father, because if he had just two kids before (both scouts, twins) he decided to adopt two more! Oh well at least just emotionally, one is Margie, a sweet nurse that got attached to him the moment she understood he had a boyfriend (she's bi n was very confused about it for a while) and her herself Ms Pauling, who he helped after she got bad wounded

MORE OF HIM THOUGH hes part of the destroyed little guys club, but only internally, his lungs are shit, his heart is shit (he also has a pacemaker) and if it wasn't enough he's also has crippling anxiety and that caused his heart to tear more than once (he gave quite a few scares to his bf)

ALSO despite all his issues especially cause he shouldnt get too fatigued, he still gets assassin jobs, and he brings Margie along with him! She has a lot of fun even if she thinks her gay dad should stop because every time he gets hurt

And that's it for now! Little trivia to close it off, Philippe can't swim! And he once almost drowned and was almost eaten by an alligator

HIIII i have a minute at work rn so I'm just writing up about him because ough I love him sm sm, his name is Marcel and he's one of my little guys my little babies, a poor little meow meow if you allow me to call him that

Anyway he's another one of my miserable spies, he's working at Mannco practically by accident, like, he needed a job, people won't hire him because of his very bad eyesight (he's legally blind btw), Mannco would hire him and he also he needed some legal protection because he's a little guy but not a pacifist and may have murdered a doctor he didn't like

And so there is that he's a pretty good spy actually and he doesn't mind his job, now to the important things that fact that he's a very sweet guy to the people he loves, he's got four older sisters he's very attached to, and he's got a medic boyfriend he loved dearly even if he accidentally broke Marcel's nose, also Marcel at times can seem somewhat childish, but most of it is him craving for affection and attention, he's never been really attention starved but he also really likes being cared for

ANOTHER THING IS that he's very very talkative, like this man can't shut up ever, ask him something and he will give you way more details than you need and still tell you he's saying things in the most basic way possible, ESPECIALLY if it's something he's very interested in, and especially his special interest which is Daredevil comics, it's been his hero since he was little and he never moved on from that

Concluding with some trivia, he's scared of the dark and will NOT sleep if he doesn't have his nightlight

OUGHHH About time I talked about the spindly sboingly the blorbo the scrunkly Jacob Jr! I warmly need to specify that he's from an AU be does NOT exist in the original universe, that being said

Jacob Jr is the unexpectedly sweet and adorable genetically engineered son of Exp and Ghastly, thought she isn't particularly happy about this little guy, Exp is though! After the events on Sirius, some 5th gen hybrids were left roaming, and well most of them are just little kids and Exp brought himself home Jacob Jr, and he's somehow been a very good dad to him! Against all odds because Exp shouldn't be able to be so affectionate to someone

Well even if 5th gens inherit some of their parents' personality traits, Jacob Jr is in some mystic way neither evil nor full of rage, he's the sweetest little guy, he inherited both albinism from Ghastly and CIPA from Exp, but his Hybrid DNA doesn't let him have too many problems with all that, and he's very bummed that he can't properly pet and cuddle his pets

On the matter of pets! He absolutely loves animals but thinks some could use some upgrades so that's what he does! He's creates the fluffiest dog alive, Flash the extremely fast turtle, Godzilla the fire breathing lizard who knocks down Lego towers, Pollo the flying chicken that accidentally also has shark teeth and many more!

He also has a big cat he loves dearly but that requires a whole other post, so let me conclude with trivia: unlike Exp who wasn't let skip grades as a child (I'll talk about it in a later post), Exp did allow him to skip grades from 3rd grade straight to year 1 of highschool

Hi hi hi I wanted to write yesterday on the train but fell asleep so I'm back here writing at 6.30 on the train to work, SO today we are talking about yet ANOTHER Team Castle character!! Fellow guests, say hi to Emelee!

Emelee is a very curious girl, and the Teams Castle scout, she's kinda younger than most of her other teammates, exception made for the rest of offense (so her gfs Fiammetta and Missy) and she's VERY overexcited at all times, probably because of the novelty of being on a brand new planet with a totally different species

That's right! Emelee is an alien, specifically a shapeshifting slimey alien, and xe actually kinda sucks at being human, xe has picked up stuff like language and some habits but xer general way of existing around people is quite odd, but people around do love her

She also LOVES humans, she thinks that they're weird and that's what makes them so interesting and xe especially loves affection! Her species doesn't really have a concept of affection outside of the family, so she's AMAZED at how humans care for not only other humans that aren't their spawns but for other creatures as well! And her permanence on earth also made xer discover romance and oh boy does she love romance xe absolutely loves romance, she's got two girlfriends and she loves them sooo dearly

Trivia fact to conclude since she doesn't know lots about humanity sometimes her teammates try to gaslight xer into believing things they do are totally normal, no Emelee, people don't usually commit that much murder and worship a fire goddess

Hello I'm writing this right after the Ada ramble today we are talking about another team castle member so say hi to Fiammetta, pyro of the team and professional hysterical woman

She grew up in a fire cult of only women, which name is Filiae Ignis but I will be referring to it as Ignis cult, having being kidnapped as a baby for the birthmark on her cheek, which is very similarly shaped to the symbol initiates are branded with on the very same cheek

She's believed to be directly descendant from Ignis and she's extremely convinced about it, believing herself superior to others at all times, but especially superior to every man that walks the planet IN FACT she has to be on a leash when out of base because Mannco had been sued too many times because Fiammetta is like a rabid dog and can't absolutely not attack men who dare lay their eyes upon her sacred figure (look at her one singular second because she dresses weird)

She's also become the nightmare of the Blu team (men only btw, I will talk about them in a future post) since starting the job because once she hadn't received her weekly man to burn at the stake and so had to make do and kidnap the opposite team Pyro for her pyre, shes become subject of many of Team Tower (yup that's the name of the Blu team) recurring nightmares

I've delirated enough but I'm finishing this saying that Fiammetta is barely a meter and an half in height, do what you want with this info

Hiii once again delirating at 6.30 am BUT y'all NEED to hear about Ada idk how I havent made a post about her actually

ANYWAY Ada is one of my most beloved TF2 ocs, tho she's part of an au I named team castle I swear there will also be a post on that in the future but just know she's the medic of the red team

AND!!! She's so so so insane like sooo much insanity can fit into this woman, and also like a lot lot lot of horny, like a lot of it, a bio I wrote for her while ago sums it up like perfect "Ada is an eccentric bastard with love for sex and guts, whether they are or not in the same context" and yup that sums her up BUT there's more

She's made a deal to the devil right after being spat out of an asylum and sold her soul for her very feminine body, absolutely unfailable charm and medical skills that work but always in the most ridiculous way possible, also because of this she's also gained a demon form because why not so sometimes it just happens she sprouts wings and horns and her skin becomes purple, because why not

OH YEAH LAST THING! She's a mercenary like mainly because she can, and because with her medical malpractice history no one in their right mind would hire her but Mannco did so now she can go on committing medical malpractice on her teammates. Some of who actually find it extremely hot.

AAAA Tumblr ate my first post so retyping this ughhh but hey hi it's me Kano and for once the lore is related to the picture (btw the text in Italian says "Vincy, this time mom will get an heart attack for real")

ANYWAY Exp has always been prone to hurt himself in very stupid ways and this is the very first piece of himself he left behind somehwere he doesn't still know where, his left pinkie just flew off while he was fucking around with his older brother who was supposed to make sure he wouldn't hurt himself (yep, not really doing your job Vincent)

Anyway more funny about this is that Exp showed up nonchalantly the next day at school with his hand all bandaged and asked his classmates if they wanted to see the bloody stitches because he thought they were soo cool

His psychiatrist also wasn't thrilled to hear about how this little accident was only making this little guy's not-yet-god complex worse than before, and that he kinda liked seeing the blood and the little of bone that got exposed when the finger blew off

AAAAA you got Jacques last post OF COURSE this one is going to be about his dear dear husband Ludwig, he's a demon for lore reason but I'm not gonna explain it throughly

Hes Jacques dear husband and he's a sweet sweet guy who loves birds and kids, like absolutely husband material, he's very anxious but he's working on it, and he's also very very gentle, he has an emotional support pigeon named Hypatia which he loves dearly and treats so so good, and I didn't mention it in last post but he and Jacques have a daughter! Her name is Lucille and she absolutely is the light of his life (hence her name) he's a very good dad but he won't let his goblin daughter commit crimes (and keeps Jacques from letting her commit crimes)

Poor guy didn't get the chance to get a medical license because of a number of factors including involvement with the black market, but with fake documents he's getting to it! He wants to be a pediatrician and even though it's kinda tough for him to juggle classes and being a dad, he's as happy as ever

He's gotten quite a bit of backstory but I reckon this is enough for now

Hiii im back to delirating here (it's 6.30 am so bare with my grammar) but it'd be a crime if I didn't talk about Jacques (and ludwig is probably following after) and you may have seen him already if you follow my tf2 blog

SO, Jacques, also called the wheely man, is one of the many spy ocs I own, and he's like my canon event cause after him there is like a lot of other spies that are as broken up and miserable as him, he's an old man that definitely saw a lot of things and worked a lot of very illegal jobs BUT today I'm thinking about him being an artist so you get a Jacques artist rant

SO very briefly Jacques is an artist in quite a few medias, he was a ballet dancer in his 30's before he had to quit due to his doctor telling him to stop before he damaged his hips too much, and he's still kinda bummed about not really being able to dance again anymore, he even had his own ballet related scandal! He played a female part once in a ballet and people rioted so his theater company kept giving him female parts until he stopped dancing

But that wasn't the end of his musical career!!! Instead of just leaving altogether he played the piano at the same theater for a while! He still absolutely loves playing it and he was in the middle of writing a ballet of his own too at some point, though his idea never took off because he had to leave france quickly at the time because the police was after his flat ass

Ough I thought this post would be much shorter so I'm leaving painter Jacques out for now

Hi yes I'm back with another post I'm typing on the train which means I may forget the picture to this one too but whatever I'm talking about my poor little meow meow born all alone in a wet cardboard box Endrake

First of all I have got to specify that while Endrake isnt human he at some point was, the lore on this is kinda still a WIP but very basically he's an Hybrid, which is a species genetically engineered to have dragon features and generally be super soldiers, very briefly they were a project for sorta supersoldiers by the Northern Army (the one Ghastly is part of) before they halted it and started the actual Super Soldiers project which I will talk about in another post

Anyway Endrake has no memory of his past, and mentally he's very young due to a sort of soft reset the chip in his spine did when he was put under treatment to become an hybrid, he's sensible and anxious, he's a very sweet guy and gets easily scared and startled, and attaches to people very easily, he's a pacifist and his current situation is hell to him

He escaped the lab where he and other hybrids were kept, was shot in the wings by sniper and crashed near the northern army main base, where he was found by Ghastly and by her kept hidden and protected

Anyway lore aside he also appears in quite a few aus and his trauma is always either experiment induced or Ghastly induced

Hi hi I'm typing this on the train and I may forget to attach an image once i get home so I'm sorry if you won't see her just yet but today I am going insane about Ghastly

Shes one of my oldest ocs and is among the ones that appear in a lot of aus and I'm gonna post about them dw dw, she's a very violence-inclined foul-mouthed woman, standing at almost two metres tall and.. not really seeing much from up there, she is in fact blind, or well at least legally blind, she does see some, not a lot, but some, enough to vaguely know who she wants to beat up

Despite her arrogance and being so violence inclined (plus her superiority complex which may be or may not also partly justified by how she is) she has a huge soft spot for children, so much that in some aus (but not her original universe) she's straight up adopted Endrake (whom I'm gonna talk about in a future post), who, well, hm, let's say he'd be better off with someone else, Ghastly has kind of her own very aggressive way of raising a kid, she'd never hurt directly a little kid but surely little Endrake saw very violent/gorey stuff from staying with her

Last I leave you with some trivia she's claustrophobic and generally uncomfortable underground, which is somewhat inconvenient for her since she's generally a very big woman and more spaces could be tight for her, and that she gets extremely nervous (in the anger sense) when scared so it's actually also very inconvenient for others who have to deal with her in confined spaces

Hi I'm going to talk about Laura (the orange girl there) in a later post because my brain has been infested with Exp thoughts lately

He looks absolutely spectral in the one drawing up there I swear he looks less dead usually, I have like a lot lot lot to say about him but you're getting a small intro to him

He's a very mentally ill "doctor", his original version (one pictured here) is a researcher for the Southern Army, he's been tasked to create beasts to unleash on the battlefield but he was actually already working on those, he's a huge war criminal, in fact all his mutants (5 of them mentioned but there's probably some more in the past that died) were once humans and are now mutated beyond recognition and are very probably always in very much pain

Central aspect of him is that he suffers from CIPA (congenital insensitivity to pain with anhydrosis), which doesn't let him feel any pain but generally he doesn't even have a sense of touch and even though it definitely is not because he can't even properly thermoregulate because of CIPA, he considers it a blessing and a superpower and it only fuels his god complex he truly thinks he's better than anyone even than god

There's much more about him but for now byeeee
