// I think only as much as anyone writing an Aligned Continuity muse would have to? Although one thing that stands out to me for my portrayal is that he wasn’t always a flier and had to go through extensive frame modifications to get his flight frame.

2. How did you get into this franchise/fandom?

// Originally, it was catching TFA on TV during its original run that got me into TF in general, but I didn't get into the fandom side of things until a few years later. I did take a break from the fandom for a few years but TFOne sucked me back in.

5. What's the best thing about the fandom?

// Compared to other fandoms I've been in, TF fandom seems more welcoming to me, especially around the topics people are willing to write/explore. Writing an unapologetic villain muse is so much fun here and I don't feel like I'm walking on eggshells when I write him that way. I love it.

14. Are there some characters from the franchise you can't stand?

// Hm. This is always a hard one because they're pretty much guaranteed to be someone's fave... but if I'm totally honest, it's Rung, specifically because back in the day it felt like he was Everywhere in fanart and the like. I ended up with Rung fatigue. I could only see his pussy so often before I lost the will to live. This does seem to be less of an issue in current fandom, though, so maybe I'll get over the overexposure.

21. Which song do you feel describes your character the most and why?

// Depends on which point in his life! I'll put a few examples under the cut 💜

Will of the People - Muse I think this one speaks for itself in an early war/uprising timeline; I picturing him rallying his new followers.

Enemies - Shinedown This one is interesting to me in that it works in two ways; Megatron referring to the higher castes, or someone else referring to him.

The Handler - Muse This one gives me big feelings about his relationship with Unicron and how he finally escapes his influence.

Class: Fighter

You’re a practical and determined person who goes after what you want. You’re very competitive and may be a bit of a perfectionist, always challenging yourself to do better. You’re not an especially flashy person and you don’t care about status or luxury unless it’s something you’ve earned. You’re grounded and focused on the real world, more concerned with what is than with what could be.

Subclass: Champion

Not for the first time that evening, Megatron shifted where he was seated—back propped up against the wall—and grimaced. Not because of the minor aches from a recent battle, nor because of the way his berth had seemingly been taken over by a new occupant and his belongings.

No, this was a discomfort that had built over time.

This world brought with it more dirt and debris than Megatron had ever been used to—more than his usual cleansing methods were able to cope with. Grit caught in his seams, making what should have been a smooth glide of plate over plate into an uncomfortable, grinding friction.

There was no doubt in his mind that his Second would be suffering the same affliction, which in itself presented a solution.

“Starscream,” he murmured, voice barely above a low rumble as he drew the splay of his servo over the Seeker's back. “Let me preen you.”

Between his words hung the implication that he did not expect this to be a one-sided endeavour; a little give and take.

Mmm. The war. That little trifle. When you've finally realized it's a pointless endeavor, come looking for me. I'll bite you so tenderly you'll swear it's a kiss.

“Trifle? There's little that comes close to its importance; I will not allow Cybertron to be rebuilt under Autobot ideals.” His disdain was evident.

“And presuming that I want this supposed kiss of yours? Such impertinence.”

Necessity? It doesn't have to be. You've surrounded yourself with vipers to harvest their venom, but the exchange is that you expect every touch to be a bite. There's no way to change this without changing yourself first- because you don't need the venom. But you certainly seem to want it.

How very poetic.

“This ‘venom’ is a vital asset in our war; it does none of us any good to be weak, to lack the means to fulfil our desires. If I find myself bitten, I bite back—harder.”

And then there was the matter of the twisted thrill that coiled around his spark when he was ‘bitten’, seeing another grow so bold as to even consider it...

You don’t have anyone you trust to take care of you? To make you feel good, know what you love to feel even when you don’t know at the moment? That’s tragic. But given your history, not entirely unexpected.

The thought of someone knowing him and his wants better than he knew himself brought with it a deep unease that crept up his spinal strut. In the same instant, he couldn't help but be reminded of the gulf maintained between himself and others.

“Tragic? It's necessity.”

You have to admit there’s something very hot about being on top of all the raw power of your gorgeous frame, lord Megatron. Making it purr and rumble while you do as asked, not because you’re controlled absolutely- but because you let your partner indulge themselves by indulging you.

“That depends entirely on what they’re doing. I have no interest in being ordered.” Nor having someone seek out parts of himself he kept locked away.

Still, having someone ride him like he was merely a tool for their pleasure hardly ever went amiss…
