Hie hie!!! Hopefully il be able to help with your understanding of them! Because i know almost NOTHING about longan so this one will be short <\3. I WILL be keeping my rough drafts at the top though, cause theyre very silly this time.

On the surface smilk and longan are 2 powerful characters filled with hatred, with 2 completely different ideals.

Both hate cookies, and have enough power to end them,

Longans most notable trait is their hatred for all cookie kind, and idk what theyre doing but ive heard theyre trying to merge the 2 universes to end all of the cookies?? So il be basing the rest of my analysis on that. Smilk, similar to this finds immense pleasure causing chaos and destruction though id say that there is a hint of care for other cookies as weve seen smilk try and help other cookies and if hes anything like the other beasts actually thinks his beliefs are helpful for earthbread, in which he wouldnt ENTIRELY be wrong but hes still a destructive demon with extremely ill intent and very little understanding of the emotions of others, which is something longan can probably relate to aswell!

Both cookies also hold immense power and may start their relationship trying to use eachother to reach their ultimate goals but over time begin to grow soft.in this i definetly see their opinions changing about cookies having understood eachother it may lead them to believe that mabey not all cookies are bad? Just most of them LOL, i say this mostly cause im sure you and i both want them to stay destructive monsters.

Serious vs silly, dragons are more powerful.

Smilk is a jester, a fool, similar to the purple dragon jester who is apparently on longans side, on the other hand longan holds themself very seriously seeing themself above all other cookies kinda like an ultimate lifeform situation, infact this ship is LITERALLY evil cookie sonadow but il come back to that later. Longan may like the presence of these jester characters as jesters mock the audience, even tho they are the fool often the were used to make a fool out of others, in smilks case he would be making fun of all cookie kind which longan would appreciate, and quite like king and jester i could totally see smilk critising longan and being the only cookie to really get away with it serving as longans right hand, although i dont think smilk would be very fond of being known as someones right hand as that could be seen as a threat to his person, or a way to make him look weaker and disposable which a chronic loner would HATE.

I also had a secomd reason of dragons being stronger than the beasts but i basically already explained that with the whole second in command crap.

I see them to be very playful, smilk constantly trying to get longan to soften up and stop being so uptight, longan often critical of smilks way of life, the way he cares for cookies, or the way he would "play with his food" how instead of being a jester hes just as fragile and foolish as the other cookies below him which would defo stir drama in their relationship. Also when it comes to longan using milk, straying away from my last idea longan may show more respect for milk as the get to know one another, and to cookies as a whole causing him not to want to senslessly murder them all (to smilks dismay). But with this i feel like as a conpromise he would allow smilk to entertain him and getting him to torture who ever he deems worthy which is almost everyone but hey, atleast he isnt trying to wipe an entire race from existance.

Also circling back to cookie sonadow, the silly blue spikes whos always teasing the emo destructive one thats somehow stronger than him power wise??? Im sorry but this was like the FUNNIEST revelation because i fucking love sonadow.

Anyway if i got anything wrong please correct me, and i hope you like sonadow as much as i do cause that would probably help you articulate your thoughts by ten-fold. Byeeee!!!

As I am scrolling through the aromatic and asexual tags Tumblr, I am beginning to see the general lack of care (for lack of a better word) toward aromantic people who want to/have experienced romantic love and asexual people who want to/have enjoyed sex.

I just need everyone to remember:

There is a spectrum to being aromantic and asexual

Sure, there are some people who are on the complete extremes of spectrum who don’t want to experience/have never experienced romance or sex, but there are also people who have experienced those things.

Only talking about the extremes invalidates the people who fall in the somewhere between the extremes.

Have more conversations about people who fall on the spectrum. Talk about everyone. Don’t just focus on the extremes.

one thing I really like about my relationship with my boyfriend is that we can express negative feelings about each other's actions without assigning blame or requiring apology. I mean like for morally neutral things like "it drives me crazy when you leave a wet towel on the floor instead of hanging it up"

cause now like instead of "oh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to drive you crazy, I'm terrible and unsocialized" or "um well that's dumb, who cares" it's like

i know you said you've given up on getting crob lore but .. if you know timekeepers lore then could i hear your thoughts on timeshadow

While im not very informed on timekeepers lore or her general mannerisms, i have found i out a few things about her character that i think might be enough to properly understand her? Although if im wrong about anything please correct me, as im probably going to be relying on the fandom wiki n general fandom talk, which isnt that reliable....

As for the general idea of their relationship, i see 2 agents of chaos, with unimaginable power breaking the boundaries of time itself! With such long-lived and chaotic attidudes i only see the relationship clashing effortlessly or tearing eachother to nothing.

Both timekeeper and smilk are able to manipulate time, meaning they may be able to understand eachother better but when it comes to smilks relationship with time i actually dont see him using it nearly as often as timekeeper but its the most obvious thing to point out imo.

Considering their ages, im led to believe theyre both thousands of years old having changed so much from their past selves i could easily see them bonding over all that theyve known and everything theyve destroyed, reminising over all the worst things, past lovers, and all the enimies theyve made over time, understanding what its like to have lived so long i believe theyd constantly be trying to one-up eachother, trying to make out who is truly the best, or most wise, or powerful or chaotic. With everything ive mentioned i see smilk always falling flat using deceit to covet any loses or mistakes, infact i could even see timekeeper falling for some of these tricks making her even more vicious when finding out the truth. Both characters i see are extremely apathetic, headcanon-wise id say empathy was a learned trait they both quickly forgot when they turned to mischief, the damage they cause is purely for their own amusement. Considering how careless they are, the way the treat eachother may be less than what eachother may like, often getting in fights with no care for the reprocutions as long as theyre in the right.

And im not too sure of this but, i do think these characters may also pride themselves in being the most sensible? That what theyre doing is the RIGHT thing and that the other is simply insane, although this may only be true for shadow milk, if not i defenitly see timekeeper constantly ragebaiting smilk, copying his mannerisms as a mockery of him, a show as too how stupid his logic may be; a complete insult of his person, and insult towards his beliefs.

My favorite thing about both characters is that once upon a time they were both NERDS in lamens terms... but they were engrossed with specific things and finding as much about them over time letting them go to focus on the "bigger picture" yet i defenitly still see them holding these things dearly as they are still the 2 things driving their main personality traits (being truth and time) they would probably spend AGES talking about all the ins and outs of these things, as smilk grows closer to her, opening up more about his feelings for truth and deceit and the everlasting search for more knowledge, cause lets be real... aint no WAY smilk is opening up just from the rip cause he can BARELY even accept these things himself while timekeeper is completely fine with all aspects of time.

In real life, a question i hear asked often is "whos the MAN in the relationship?" Which i know just doesnt do justice to the "roles" in a relationship, perhaps a better question is "who mostly takes CHARGE?" Getting rid of those silly gendered steretypes and asking a question im sure many more could answer. In this case, it would be timekeeper, unlike smilk i see her much more put togather, having more control in her life and in her actions, using this stabilty to guide smilk into whichever path she see fit, despite them both being so loud and obnoxious, timekeeper is the cookie screaming at the fast food worker for getting their partners order even slightly wrong. Despite smilk probably living longer than timekeeper? I still see her understanding life and dating much better than he ever could, i mean, due to smilks constant lying i dont see a world where he ISNT falling prey to his own tricks, not believing his own word but rejecting the truth so harshly that his knowledge becomes misconstrued; opposed to this timekeeper understands herself fully and everything that she tampers with, i mean the only reason that their universe and herself still exist is because she knows enough about it to play with it like a toy without destroying it all in an instant, as time is a very fragile thing (which is probably something both characters can relate over) meaning that even with all the entropy engulfed within it, it still has complete control of all the tears and rips sowing its own wounds to prevent the collapse of reality. I really do believe that someone with so much control may actually be good for smilk to latch onto possibly even redeeming him in a fucked up yet wholesome way, helping him accept the truth so that his tricks become more believable and he is able to accomplish so much more destruction with just one little change in perspective.

Unfortunatly, control vs uncontorlled is one of the only differences i could find with them... another thing was how one struggles with relationships and the other doesnt? But something tells me that absolutely isnt true, as even though timekeepers costume entails that shes been in plenty of relationships, the only problem i could see within them is that girlboss is literally immortal which like, totes isnt her fault and also implies that theyre relationship with dating is roglughly the same experience other than timekeeper actually understamd how people like, work.

Finally onto dynamics! Their relationship is characterised being extremely competitive, chaotic yet very understanding of eachothers feelings. There is defenitely an imbalance betwwen the 2 of them seeing as timekeeped is better in literally every retrospec, and evedythibg she COULD learn from smilk she basically already has and has literally no benifit from dating him other than having a partner in crime, ACTUALLY now that ive rethought about it she could probably grow to be a much softer person aswell seeing smilk endure so much change may inspire her to think about things a little differently knowing that their can be good within chaos and maybe all the pain she once caused can be rekindled into something more productive? But this is all best case scenoario and HIGHLY doubt either of them would come to that conclusion but their is always a chance! Onto actual character interactions, ive went through most of them in my othed paragraphs but anothier thing i think theyd do togather is timekeepers constant teasing of smiks past lives possibly even bringing alternate versions of fount JUST to piss him off completely fucking another timeline with each fount finding out their inevitable fate, another concept ive seen is pv and other ancients meeting the fount n what not, and im positvley certain their could be a fic with this premise but instead of focusing on thosr fuckers iwe see it fron time keeper and smilks perspective as he tries to stop her from allowing pv to interact with past versions of him, while trying to ignore how much hes changed seeing how he couldve treated him postively in any universe, and timekeeper constantly pushing these realties onto him watching him sensly try to stop her as if that is even an option, watching him ruin timelines trying to manipulate his past selves laugh her ass off at every mindless attempt. On top of these im sure smilk could find a way to put this on her possibly trying to replicate these actions with her and croissant not understand that timekeeper dont give a FUCK; and i would build on this concept more but i feel as if i dont know enough about her intercations with the tbd and croissant to really make a workibg plot outta this.

Alternatively, smilk could transform into a woman and have hot lesbian sex with timekeeper. IDK im so lost for ideas right now amd i want to talk about smilks power but it realllllly doesnt seem that interesting when compared to timekeeper, like literally, if i were to focus on smilk more it would just look like a normal, mildly shitty, relationship but a slice of life where the 2 main characters are hateful gods who treat eachother as if theyre just normal people with a few extra quirks is a pretty funny concept.

As for my rating, i would give it a 6.9/10 as theyre a really interesting concept with a lot in common, its just that i dont know much about time keeper and dont see an au where id PERSONALLY be interested, plus i feel like timekeeper could fix smilks taste in fashion cause her outfits are fucking FIRE while milks are...interesting.
