Today we got to meet Marie-Claude Landry the President of the Canadian Human Rights Commission. I loved this belief she had: Being uncomfortable with people who are different from us - people who wear a burka, who are gay, who have a different religion, different skin colour - it’s okay to be uncomfortable. Today’s walk brought to you by the colour white...Do you notice that when you start to pay attention to something, that all of a sudden you see it everywhere? That was brought to my attention today when I started noticing all the white flowers around...I think this is a good lesson on looking for what you want (not what you don’t want) the more you notice it’s already there, the more shows up in your life. What you pay attention to expands! For me today it was white flowers but that was just a message to get out of my negative thinking and pay attention to the blessing in my life.
