EDIT: If you're still having problems, it might help to switch from "Save/Save as" to "Export (as a) Single Layer". Just. Make SURE the box labeled "Expression Color" is set to RGB. I've been messing with this all day, and it looks like this combination of settings will allow exported PNGs to maintain their colors perfectly. To you. So far both Discord and Toyhouse still only display desaturated images and I cannot for the life of me figure out why

He's Anonymous Guardian #37 with the added annoyance that he doesn't have an established outfit and he's not heavy on talking.

One outfit change and he's unrecognizable, until you see his Ghost anyway. Sol has been maining the Tex Mechanica shell for years at this point.

He does take his helmet off, just not in the field or in the main parts of the tower.

Thanks! I just wanted to add a little info on Axi's feelings toward eating because I rarely get to talk about him so..

Axi is a workaholic so a good portion of him not eating does stem from him just,, straight up forgetting to eat cuz he's so engrossed in work.

But another large part is he actually doesn't enjoy eating that much, aside from flavor, the need to eat feels like an extreme waste of time and effort to him (and also.. he doesn't really NEED to eat. If he dies of starvation he can just get rezzed).

Most of it is just objective indifference, but while he briefly raised some kids in the Dark Ages and food was scarce, he always felt it was better to prioritize feeding his non-risen kids, and he still carries a sentiment that food is sort of wasted on him considering he doesn't truly need to eat (it just lessens discomfort and workload for Anem lol)

The main two who have been doing their best to get him out of this is Eli and unsurprisingly, Drifter, who has a similar background with a very different outcome of it. He's getting there with the whole food thing hfdskfjdsl

1. Love Headcanon

So, Eli likes cooking. It's something he picked up out of necessity due to being in the field without support or a way to resupply for extended periods of time.

Eli's partner, Axilaes (@karekuat's Warlock) on the other hand is the definition of a workaholic. He also doesn't like to cook. Warlocks, I swear. So Eli and Axi's Ghost Anem conspire to make sure he actually eats. Eli makes him stews and soups (mostly stews) and brings them to Axi.

Even when they aren't on speaking terms.

It's part of what endeared Eli to Axi.

2. Stress Headcanon

Eli's incredibly slow to wear down stress-wise, at least, externally. He will not let it be known there's a problem or ask for help until the very last possible second before shit goes sideways.

He does keep a field journal, chronicling new information, tactics or even horribly sketching a cool tree he saw does help him calm down.

If he does get overwhelmed and start panicking, however, the easiest way to get him to calm down is actually shouting him down. It only really works if he respects you, however. Azores (my Voidlock and his fireteam leader) has been known to do so on occasion.

Misc: His Solar Light gets really unstable when he's stressed. His Void Light on the other hand tends to be somewhat stronger under those same conditions.

There is something fundamentally evil about turning communication devices into bombs. To turn the integument of the modern world, the ability to interact with one another at a distance, into being something that could kill you and the people around you, it's just wrong.

You could say we were already there. Plenty of people out there in the world think about how making a phone call or posting a video could bring down a drone strike on their heads. Hezbollah ditched cellphones out of fear they could be easily spied on. But for the danger to be immediate, to be in your hand, to have been there for months by your bedside, in the radio on your belt...

The pagers yesterday beeped before they exploded, to make people bring them closer to their faces. We're conditioned to pay attention to the devices in our pockets. They are an indispensable part of our social worlds. And they are inextricably connected to the globalized supply chains that it's difficult to even imagine securing.

It seems like a fundamentally different kind of attack, and nobody knows the consequences. Planting explosives inside thousands of devices, at some point in a supply chain? It's a new kind of terrorism that only an immensely powerful state shielded from fear of consequences can perform.
