Alex Fine made a great statement via Cassie’s lawyer about the narratives online about how he must feel sitting there listening to her testimony and how he saved her. He said that’s an insult to the years of painful work she did and that she saved herself.

Honestly? I think that it is because women have been dominating the music industry in recent years, especially hip-hop. And these losers see his attack on Megan as a proxy attack on women in the industry trying to come up or outshine them.

Everyone should remember that so many female artists left the industry because they experienced sexual and physical violence by the men in it. Systematic violence, in fact, intentionally wrought to push women out.

Cassie Ventura’s attorney Doug Wigdor of @wigdorlaw read a statement from her husband, Alex Fine, after she finished testifying today in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial.
