I walk down the stairs into the store and the dusty smell hits me first. It isn't bad, more so nostalgic for a feeling I've never had. Records are crammed into every corner. They stack like pillars melded together through vinyl, words, and rhythms. Stowed away from the main roads of the city lies the world in melodies.
As I sat in my car hiding from the bitter wind, I looked up. Cotton candy wisps streaked across a blue sky. The horizon kissed by the golden sun. Light posts flickered on to greet the ensuing darkness. Some sunsets make you grateful to be alive.
