Number 21 of my OSTune countdown: Naomi Tamura - Yuragu Koto Nai Ai

(the posting daily challenge went as well as my forgetful ass could expect)

Opening song for GetBackers. I was just watching this series when my cat died, so this song kind of reminds me of that sad day. Aside from the emotional scar that weirdly got attached to this song, I really like GetBackers and kinda wish for a reboot of that show.

Used as the 14th opening for the Detective Conan series (or the localised Case Closed). Just hearing that guitar screaming at the beginning is just...in dutch I call this "kiekenvel moment"

One of the many tracks on the Fairy Tail anime OST. I could have gone for so many others like the main theme. But that doesn't do justice to all the other amazing tracks used throughout this show.

Number 17 of my OSTune countdown: Less Than Jake - All My Best Friends Are Metalheads

Another American licensed song slapped on an anime movie. This comes from the soundtrack of the first Digimon movie. Even though this is a song with a long title that you don't find in the lyrics of the song, it's an upbeat fun song with a simple message about respect that is still (maybe now more than ever) relevant to this day.

Imagine boosting a Dragon shaped jet to this song...oh wait, Seto Kaiba already did that in the Yu-Gi-Oh movie Pyramid Of Light in the English dub.

Number 15 of my OSTune countdown: John Williams - Duel Of The Fates

Though the Phantom Menace may not be the best Star Wars movie, This track may very well be one of my absolute favorite tracks in the entire Star Wars franchise.

Number 14 of my OSTune countdown: Robert J. Walsh and Dennis Winslow - Short Hair

Anyone who has ever seen Megas XLR knows the instrumental to this song as the moment Coop starts smashing Glorft grunts or other alien/mecha adversaries. Little do people know there is a version with actual lyrics. This is it.

The goofy lyrics to this song will not win any literature prizes, but it's as weird and free as the show itself.

Police academy 4 starting with this song with an absolutely unhinged Michael Winslow going unrestrained with his many voices and sounds.

Number 11 of my OSTune countdown: Disturbed - The Game

In a time when American studios bought the rights to some animated series, but refused to use the original soundtrack of these. That's when we suddenly got to hear American bands on the background of several anime movies.

This Disturbed classic was heard in the 5th Dragonball Z movie: Cooler's Revenge during Goku's second round against Cooler that brought the fight to a lake with a waterfall.

Number 10 of my OSTune countdown: Shiro Sagisu ft Hazel Fernandez - Number One

The most iconic fight song in Bleach when Ichigo is at the top of his game. I could've gone with the Thousand Year Bloodwar version, but this is more iconic.

I'm also looking for a violin version of this song from the Fade To Black movie. To this day I still haven't found it.

The most kickass moment in the pirates of the Caribbean series to me was during At World's End when Jack was brought on to the scene with the Black Pearl brought by a mass of white stone crabs with this song in the background.

Number 7 of my OSTune countdown: Jason Paige - Viridian city

Sure, the Pokémon theme songs are pretty cool. But this song is such a gem doomed to be lost in time. Let's go on the road to Viridian city.

People who might not recognise the artists name immediately, that's the same artist of the original Pokémon theme.
