thinking about how nervous taylor must have been to tell us rep tv is not coming. obviously buying her masters back is a big deal and she must have been excited to share that. but there were SO many people begging for rep tv. to the point where whole crowds were yelling at her to release it. and i hope she sees that for many of us (at least on tumblr) it was never about getting new music. but about standing behind her when she lost her life’s work. and then again standing with her when she finally got it back. we don’t need an album to be happy for her. and truthfully that feels like what the rep era/tour was. just pure joy to have each other for all of life’s moments. happy or sad. we have her back. and it’s really nice to see that today

evermore is such an insane album when you really think about it. like. love isn't forever. friendship isn't forever. trust isn't forever. family isn't forever. even a marriage isn't forever. but then she ends on evermore (song) and it's like: you know what else isn't forever? pain. suffering. heartache. she just flips the script of the entire album on the LAST SONG and cements the complexity of its core message in 5 minutes. and i'm supposed to be normal about that
