Yesterday, colleagues from Hong Kong and Malaysia arrived in Kyiv.

They are holy people.

It's astonishing and surreal to hear about apoliticality in contests where people represent a certain country….

Cruel humor. But I almost choked on my tea. I also see this as more of a chemical attack. Meanwhile, the russians are having fun…

They are proud of their crimes and shout about it at the top of their lungs. But the world is indifferent.

We need so much support right now when Russia is planning to take away even more territories and Ukrainians' lives. Don't quite our voice. Especially on a platform like that. Yes, it's entertaining competition but our reality in war is definitely not fun to live. We keep crying out to the world in every possible way.

Eurovision 2024 is impressive: an Israeli singer performed in the occupied Crimea, a Dutchman releases a duet with a Russian woman during the full-scale, a German says Russia should be returned to the contest, a Cypriot tracks mixed in Moscow, a Czech woman was born in Russia. This is some "pesnya goda" [song of the year - russian competition] but not Eurovision.

- The "Israeli" is literally a Russian woman from Moscow who remembered her blood of God [roots] at the age of 22.

- The main thing is to say later how terrible it was for you to live there 😭😭😭

This German guy said that they have non-political music here and all that. So why wasn't last year's Eurovision in Ukraine? Well, missiles would have flown over his head, but what's the big deal? Would he have come to Ukraine and performed? ahhh, well, that's different, of course...

God dam... This year I know only a British singer and then I didn't check what was there and who was there, except him. It's disgusting... Apoliticality as such is selective. Especially when it comes to everything Russian.

The whole thing about AI is so fucking annoying, disheartening and straight-up depressing. No place is safe from all of the ai and tech bullshit.

And what options do artists have? What options do I personally have?

Glaze and Nightshade everything? I personally don't have the time or GPU power to glaze billions of artworks that I made. Fucking imagine you make a quick-ish sketch and spend 40 minutes glazing it (and don't get me started on some results of that process looking like the artwork went through 9 circles of bitcrushing hell based on how artifacted it looks)

Put everything I make behind a paywall? I for sure know that only a super small fraction would pay to see whatever I draw, the rest would just not care (either for some personal/general reasons or because people are also having a financial crisis 'cause, girlie, same)

Not post at all? I guess so.

I'm so fucking sick and tired of moving from website to website, trying to have a normal place to post art on and also have a community of people to interact with but time and time AGAIN it all just goes to shit. I wish there was some way to just ban all of these shitty ai things from existing or being developed. Stop treating us artists as some fucking cow you can milk for content and then can just slaughter when we are no longer useful. Fuck AI and fuck harmful tech shit.
