I have came here to declare I am officially in love with Lams but slow burn fictions.

Hear me out:

Lams is usually the soup of most fics, by that I meant they're already dating or something. Even if they aren't, it happens really fast.

Which I thought is NOT REALLY MY TASTE. Not hating on these fics though. But I think what we ignored, especially if you are going historical timeline or they are just young lads. They are more likely look for small opportunities to try to sound out each other, and by observing even the smallest changes, they'll try to figure out each other's thoughts about how the other think of them. As long as there is the slightest discovery or change in the other's tone or words, slightly hinting they might be also returning their love, they will drown in a flood of distraught woolgathering. That's the fun part about young love, slow, bashful, puzzled brains of teenagers who just turned into adults. Sometimes I think it's a shame there isn't more fics of this.
