We need some scenes of Stolas in his element in S3.
Stolas is not going to be amenable to improving as a person if he’s exhausted, burnt out, and overwhelmed.
We as the audience know he’s a fierce contract negotiator and can step toe-to-toe with anyone using fancy legal language to pull one over on him. We know he’s disciplined enough that he can get all his paperwork done in enough time to lounge by the pool to read a novel, homeschool his kid, and start a situationship. We know he didn’t even need the grimoire to do his magic because he had, at the very least, the essential spells memorized. While we don’t ever see him managing finances, Stella sure as shit wasn’t the one doing it, so it was either him or Andrealphus.
Blitz also has a knack for helping people excel in what they’re already good at. While he gave Stolas the admin job just to get him out of the house and make sure he wasn’t alone when he was already moody, he probably unknowingly handed Stolas an opportunity to find some self-worth outside being the guy who can read prophecies.
Stolas does need to be knocked down a few pegs, but there’s no point in knocking down pegs just to leave the person who set them up scrambling. He has to be built up, too. He’s not going to have any motivation to be good at anything if everything he tries is out of reach.
(Also, I would love it if Stolas could read some stars and warn them to be prepared for another Ronaldo or DHORKS. He could use his current skills and build up some more.)

There’s a huge debate about how Stolas is as a father. He has gotten a lot of animosity after season 2 and some people were debating about Octavia after Sinsmas.

Yes, Via is one of the most innocent and blameless characters in the entire Hellaverse, but even she's not perfect, and I'm saying that in the most affectionate way possible, because I LOVE characters with flaws (perfect characters are boring).
Tbf, I can't think of anything she did wrong in Loo Loo Land, but in Seeing Stars she is partly to blame for the chaos that unfolded that day (and yes, it's definitely also Stolas AND Stella's fault, more people can be to blame at once, you know). Even with Via being 17, she's on the edge of adulthood, she's not 7.
Because at the end of the day her impatience, impulsivity and inability to properly word what she was trying to talk to Stolas about is what escalated in everything that went down that day. Not to mention it was still morning and Azathoth's Tears wasn't until that night, so there was still time to be patient.
Also, I get it's because Via grew up isolated and probably never learned about mental health, but it was still a low blow to use Stolas' medication against him (I don't care how much you hate Stolas, if you think using anyone's medication against them can be justified you really need to re-evaluate your morals).
And again, I mean this in the most positive way possible, because it makes Via a well-written, well-rounded character instead of a boring, bland, perfect little angel.

Alright, I know there are bigger things to think about, but LOOK AT THIS!
This is the first time we've EVER seen Stella wearing anything less than a full ballgown. Also, note the fact that she and her brother are both still wearing their crowns, even while doing an at-home spa-day thing.
Now, regarding the staff-- Three of these people worked for Stolas & Stella.
The forth imp present is from Andrealphus's staff.
They've all had their uniforms updated to suite Andrealphus's recent rise to power. And they're all looking VERY STRESSED, right now!
We've talked before about how Stolas's treatment of his staff... could be better.
We've also talked about how Stolas most likely did his best to moderate Stella's temper-- either through appeasement, or through making himself her main target, or both-- mostly for the sake of protecting Octavia.
But now, the ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD has to deal with Stella and Andrealphus encouraging and escalating each other's problematic tendancies, without Stolas there to act as a buffer.
Seriously, the way the Butler's eyes are darting around, the look on his face-- I'm not sure we've EVER seen him this stressed before! Even when his Boss was having a very loud emotional crisis and hiding in the FRIDGE, he wasn't this stressed out!
Done with the melodramatic royal bullshit making a mess, but not that legit scared for his life kinda stressed!
Now let's remember, these people have had a front-row seat for everything going on with their employers-- Stolas & Stella's trashfire marriage. Stella's extremely open disdain for her (now-EX) husband. Stolas's affair, and how it escalated from a monthly booty-call, to the current situation...
Also. I want to mention the fact that Stolas's ongoing attempts to reach Octavia throughout the month are the only proof she has that he's still alive, after having been banished & left with only the clothes on his back.
Again. The nobility only know that Stolas is still alive because Stella won't stop gossiping about his hilarious attempts to call & talk to his daughter.
I'm hoping that we get to see some stuff from the perspective of the Imp Staff at the Palace. If not in canon, then in fanfic. Because they know ALL the gossip, and I'm very curious about what the situation looks like-- what BLITZ looks like-- from their point of view.

I can't believe this needs to be said but...
Can we stop attacking Stolas for how he handled himself? He loves Octavia, and he loves Blitzo̶. They're the ones he loves the most.
Yes, he was on antidepressants to deal with the abuse from Stella. She openly stated how much she hated being married to him and treated him like crap. She even plotted his murder AT THE DINNER TABLE.
Yes, during Mastermind he chose to save Blitzo̶. Even given everything that happened between them, Stolas still has strong feelings for the imp. He chose Blitzo̶ for more than one reason. When Stolas slept with him the first time, he genuinely felt wanted and that he could love him, something he never felt from his own wife.
Yes, he stayed with Stella for Octavia. He genuinely loved her as a father but sometimes parents fuck up. It's life! She's also a teenager, and while she is justified, she can misunderstand the situation just like anyone else. Stolas even tried calling her for a month after he snapped out of his self-pity party.
Stolas' actions may not be what everyone wants, but one thing no one has even stated is...depression hits everyone differently. He just shuts down when he feels all is lost. Stolas is quick to make certain decisions because of anxiety, too. Why else would he give up everything without taking the time to think about it?
He didn't consciously make the decision to abandon his child, but one of his two greatest loves was in danger and he was saving him whether or not it cost his life.
Octavia was never in danger except for her gaslighting mother and uncle, which have basically had a whole month to poison her opinion of her father. And yet, she still tried to bring Stolas his happy pills.
Please just remember: these fictional characters from Hell are very human. Ironically, they may be more human than some actual humans.
That being said...I've watched the episode multiple times already.

You know the most interesting is how the VA says Andrealphus' brain is "kinda like the beginning of game of thrones", as in where he appears to be a Mastermind but in reality, there's some parts in his brain that are made of Play-Doh according to him. Kinda makes me think he is only slightly smarter than Stella (let that sink in) but like her doesn’t think thoroughly through every possibility. There are things right now that say how he hasn’t thought of some problems like via not being able to control Octavia and how Vassago is definitely going to help take him down.
If you have been following some of my blogs you know that those two intrigue me a bit.
I think that Andrealphus is a good strategist, he is kinda smart for sure, but to be fair he can be also kinda silly and he is also very impulsive. I think that his downfall will be that he is ambitiously blind, in the sense that he wants power so badly but… hasn’t really thought what that power it’s going to imply and what the consequence of trying to achieve it could have.
I find interesting the Game of Thrones comparison, because is something we see often in that series with some of the characters that look for the throne. Rulers that want that power so badly that are willing to do anything to have it, but that willingness to do awful shit it’s what often puts an end to their pursuit. They think they are being smart, but they are just being as reckless as they can to reach their power goal and those things end up backfiring to all of them.
Also… he took Stolas palace and stuff.. now what? I don’t think he has thought more beyond this, he thinks he will be able to do what he wants in there but that’s not really true.
In Sinsmas when Stolas goes to confront him I don’t see him really thinking thoroughly what he is doing there. He is surprised to see Via directly confront him. He wasn’t expecting it. How he didn’t expect Via to defend his father? Hasn’t he thought about Via’s powers? Now that he saw she can beat him what is he going to do about it ? So many questions.
We really need to know more about Vassago and The Goetias to know the extent of the situation Andrealphus got himself in. Why Vassago seems interested in Stolas and why hasn’t he intervened before? Or has he intervened before and we don’t know?
We have so many interesting questions about this situation!! Excited to see more of this on season 3!

I have a feeling Stolas’s staff actually misses him right now.

From what we saw with Stolas his staff certainly was never visibly miserable or scared for their lives.
