The Aussie RP Network

(Please forgive the lack of a graphic for this - I don’t make them, and I wasn’t really comfortable asking anyone for one silly little promo graphic!)

One of the great things about tumblr and the RPC is that you get to interact with people from all over the world. I love it, and I’m sure you do too, but sometimes you just want to interact with someone a little closer to home. Someone who’s online at the same time as you every day. Someone who spells everything the same way you do, and uses the same slang. Someone who knows the names of more Australian cities than just Sydney (damn it, rest of the world). Someone who knows about all of our beautiful, talented, homegrown celebs…and is just as bitter about the fact that they’re so underused in the RPC. Or maybe that’s just me, whatever. 

 That’s why we’re here!! Yep, it’s happening - a network for Australian roleplayers, helpers, critics, and whatever else. If you live in Australia, we want you on board! Beyond that, the only real rule is to be nice, and I’m sure we’ve all had the mateship spielf drilled into us, so staying civil shouldn’t be an issue. This network is a way for us to meet and interact with new people, maybe pick up a few new plots or promo relevant groups. I know there are plenty of Australians on this website, and specifically in the RPC, but…we’re really hard to find? Coming across another Aussie is always a really pleasant surprise, so hopefully this network will bring more people out of the woodwork and get some good connections going.

I’ve started putting together a network page, and this will be the first post in the tag! If you want to join the network, it’s pretty simple - just visit this page and shoot me (@kimspirations) a message with those details (name, age, pronouns, state and/or timezone). As a cute little addition for the network page, I’d like everyone to to pick a mascot. Given that this is an Aussie RP Network, I want everyone to pick an Australian FC! I feel like overall they’re really underused and underappreciated in the RPC (obviously there are a few exceptions), so this’ll be a great way to show our appreciation and maybe spark a little more awareness for some of those faces!
