My sis Connie Alice inspired me and I decided to start learning how to design patterns like she does. When I get better at it I can make some passive income selling the patterns for products like fabric and stationary paper. Much of my quiet time with God is dreaming of what God will do in and through my life. As I get older I see the dreams come closer to reality and become more clear. I was encouraged by Greg Crawford’s message Saturday when he said “Jesus spent 30 years contemplating his ministry that he would do in 3 years”. I have been actively preparing for the vision God has for my life with what feels to me a very slow pace. But I know it’s a necessary preparation time for the depth of what God wants to do. He has to do a deep work IN me, because it’s what is IN me that will minister to the world. What I will have is my own soul to give as Paul expressed he gave in his letters to those he loved. “Not the gospel only, but we gave our own souls”. I love to record my journal and dream time with God in art form. The dreams I’m not yet ready to share with the world, I’ve scribbled out. But I will share the rest. I created my reading list graphic as a digital painting. And I made a blank one just for you! You can print off the blank one to keep track of your own reading goals. When I finish a book I color it in and mark the month I finished it with the same color. Then at the end of the year I can see how many books I read in the year and what months I was completing the most reading.
