I've often been annoyed at Lyonette for how disparaging she can seem of Erin and the tenssion there can be between them, but she is an amazing mother, even if she and Mrsha still have occasional communication problems. What kid and their parents don't at times?

Lately almost all of my reading time has been devoted to the Wandering Inn. I'm currently in the middle of book 12. I've also found a ton of audiobooks on Paganism and witchcraft, and oh how I wish these had been around 20 years or so ago! I'd like to get back into it, but while I still have the desire, I fear I've lost any direction I might've had, and don't actually know where my serious Pagan interest lies. I feel like at 40, I should be serious about something in terms of my spirituality, but maybe the whole point is that I don't have to. Going in depth about different traditions, spirit work, herbalism, all the stuff I would've looked into as a teen if only I had access to the books I now have.

I'm following a few people and a few people are following me, but it still feels a bit lonely. I don't know how good Tumblr is as a regular social media site. How much do people actually talk to each other? It seems like this is more about sharing cool stuff, of which there is plenty, I'll grant.

Compilation of my favorite jumba moments from stitch has a glitch

1: as someone with epilepsy, it was very uncomfortable watching stitch go through his first “attack” cause his attacks, aside from the immediate urge to fight and destroy, feels very similar to a seizure. Jumbo’s immediate concern is plain to see, and he immediately realizes what’s wrong.

2: stitch’s birth! The way jumba was so happy seeing stitch for the first time, calling him “cute and fluffy” it’s like seeing your child for the first time, but without the tears.

3: the way he’s so excited when he reveals he has a surprise for him, and stitch, bless his heart, gets excited already. And when he cheats when jumba tells him to close his eyes, he says “he’s cheating already” with such a proud smile.

4: him saying “my little stitch” is so heartwarming, cause the only time he calls him 626 is when he’s going up to the lab. Which could imply it was a simple slip of the tongue. He cares about him so much he doesn’t care about stitch changing his name.

Also, we’re all in agreement that the whole glitch was all the alien authorities fault, right? Stitch would have been perfectly fine if the stupid troops would have simply listened to him. Him illegally creating him or not. What if something happened at the trial, and stitch had one of his attacks while he was escaping and accidentally hurt someone?

One more thing about me. I'm almost totally blind. I don't know if Tumblr even makes it possible to add alt text to images, but if it does it would be awesome if people would do so. As for me, you probably won't see many pictures from this space.

Happy pride, everyone! I made a joke about my embroidery and now I've made it reality.

I just want to make a list of the things I'm into to help my people find me and vice versa. Many of my fandoms are fairly small, after all. I'll probably add to this list.

I'm back after several years. I think I posted once. People here keep telling me the fandom communities are the best around, so I really want to check them out this time! I'm also on Reddit, but this might be a better place for shorter, more regular posts. I can just come here and rave about whatever I'm thinking about at the moment without needing to have a specific question or even necessarily an organized thought at all!

The Purple Poodle

2 oz. vanilla

1 oz. Bailey’s Irish Creme

1 oz. coconut rum

Coconut milk

Light cream

Edible glitter

Edible pearls

Simple sugar

Rim martini glass with simple sugar and edible glitter.  Shake vodka, liqueur, and rum over ice and pour into a martini glass.  Fill rest of glass with equal parts coconut milk and cream.  Garnish by dropping several edible pearls into the glass.

This is one of most lavish cocktails imaginable.  The opulent, creamy coconut vanilla flavor is matched in glitz and flair only by the glamorous garnish of glitter and pearls.  This drink is truly made for true lovers of elegance.  And of course, there is no chocolate!

I just started this Tumblr tonight, and honestly don’t have much of a clue what I’m doing. Really I just did it to have another way to connect with people in my fandoms. Those fandoms are mostly Muppets and Star Trek, but there are many others.
