I'm not good at these, but there are things that I just wanted to write very quickly about you. Firstly, I want to thank you for that first trip you ever took to see me in London, because it changed my life forever. We found each other Finnigan, when we were both dealing with our own demons. We saw the very worst in each other, I saw your temper and you saw my blatant insecurities. And yet, despite all of that, we found a way to love each other. It's not a conventional type of love by any means, but it's one that belongs solely to us. I'm so very fortunate to have someone like you in my life. You challenge me every day, and show me that I'm capable of so much more than I can see. You guide me to make the right decisions, and to become a stronger version of myself. I know things aren't normal with me by any means, and that I'm not the easiest woman to have as a wife. But you do it anyway, and I just wanted to thank you for that. You see me. You see past my injury and insecurity, and bring out the girl that's full of life, and full of aspiration. Together, we created a dream that neither of us thought possible. Doctors told me for years that marriage and children were beyond my capacity, but with your help, we proved them wrong. Because of you, Finnigan, I can go a whole night taking care of an infant all on my own. I can use the subway without getting overwhelmed. I just wanted to thank you for all that you do. You make me a better me, and I hope you see how truly spectacular you are.
