Molly felt the mattress dip behind her and didn’t resist as her husband gathered her in his arms and turned her towards him.

Despite the darkness of the room, she didn’t want him to see the tears that she knew were going to spill from her eyes. Sherlock raked his fingers through her hair, burying them in it, the sensation so familiar and soothing, Molly had to take a shaky breath.

He pressed his lips to her forehead. “I’m sorry.”

She shifted to bring her face parallel to his, taking it in her hands and kissing him gently. “Me too. I’m so sorry, Sherlock. I didn’t mean to—”

“I know, I know,” he interrupted. “I know, and I shouldn’t have reacted that way. It was unfair, and I am sorry.”

Molly kissed him again, offering her apology and forgiveness all at once, slipping her arms around him to hold him closer to her.

“i’m scared, Sherlock,” she told him, barely whispering the words in the small space between them.

“Me too,” he confessed, the sound just as quiet as hers but just as heartfelt.

“What are we going to do?” she asked.

He heaved a deep sigh, moving his fingers through her hair again. “John recommended a specialist. I’m sure Mycroft has a list of doctors that are the top in their field.”

“Just, promise me something, darling,” Molly said looking at him seriously.

“Hmm?”

“Don’t hide things from me. We’re in this together, remember?”

“I do seem to recall a promise about in sickness or in health,” he quipped with a small smile.

“We cheated your death once before, I think we can do it again,” she replied.

“Indeed,” he leaned in and kissed her mouth softly.

“I promise.”

“Shh, Granger, you’re interrupting my thoughts.”

Pansy is too busy eyeing the tall, dark, and handsome bartender at the other side of the bar.

Ginny scoffs, “I’m not carrying you out the bar this time.”

“If everything goes according to my plan, you won’t have to.” She downs the rest of her drink in one go, feeling the burn intermingle with the buzzing excitement in her veins.

“Oi, Pans, where are you going?”

“Clearing my mind.” Pansy rolls her eyes. “Where do you think I’m going, Ginevra? Going to get that man’s number and see if he’ll take me home.”

She marches like a woman on a mission. A mission to get laid.

Hermione sighs, “So no one’s going to tell her that she’s drunk off her arse and is actually married to the man she’s about to hit on?”

Sherlolly Calendar 2022 - January, 1887

Welcome to another year of my Sherlolly calendar! I can’t believe this will be my 8th one! 

This year, it’s all about the Victorian AU! As those of you who have bought the larger calendar might have noticed, there’s a small story that goes along with the images. In this version of this story, I wanted to have Molly be a rich widow who has a real interest for detective work and she ended up at the crime scene where Sherlock was also investigating and immediately he was impressed by her powers of observation…

Lady detectives (particularly in the US) were around since early Victorian times IRL, but also in fiction and I think they don’t get enough attention! If you still want to buy a calendar, you can do on my Etsy page!

D/Hr Advent 2021 is now complete! Thank you so much to the authors and artists who participated, and thank you to the Dramione fans who made nominations! Over 300 people were nominated for the fest, from ffn, ao3, instagram, twitter, tumblr, and more, with 175 voters and 1393 total votes cast.

This year, nineteen of the twenty-four participants were with us for the first or second time. Nine of our twelve artists were first-time participants.

Special nod to our most-nominated participant, Inadaze22, who smashed all records in her first year in the fest, and single-handedly earned four percent of the noms.

I made this for a one-shot I wrote, but didn’t finish.

I think this works without the text anyways, but for context and a spoiler, read under the cut (if I can make one?)

Draco has yet to apologise for his past actions to Hermione, despite having been her potions partner through all of first semester in their 8th year. On Christmas Eve, he goes to her parent’s house and finally gives her an apology. This is the moment right after that.
