one thing really struck me after watching sme…

in both the black moon arc and the dream arc, chibiusa is dealing with feelings of inadequacy and jealousy of her mother–but in the black moon arc, it’s jealousy of neo queen serenity, and in the dream arc, it’s jealousy of usagi. it’s interesting how similar and how different those feelings are, and how both are necessary for chibiusa’s character to become fully realized.

That's what I need ToT

I know people tend to have a headcanon that Reki is not good at singing, but come onnnnnn! He is voiced by HATANAKA TASUKU, one of the voice actors who have best singing voice, so why not letting him sing to Langa like this ;;;v;;;

langa hears the music through the door before he's even in front of it, stealing his breath away. he stops just outside of reki's room, the sound of a guitar and a soft singing voice reaching his ears in a beautiful melody. he thinks he's heard this song before, back in canada, but he could be wrong, since he's not in canada anymore, but japan.

but he knows that voice, knows who it belongs to, and that thoight alone is enough to make his heart flutter. he slowly opens the door, peeking in, the sight making him gasp.

reki is in the center of the room, sitting on a chair, back to the door. he has an acoustic guitar held up, playing it as if it were second nature, his eyes lightly shut, his chest heaving as he sang and sang.

"oh god what if when he sees me,

i like him and he knows it?"

his voice is angelic, even if it does crack a little at the edges, and he looks so focused, so into the song, that langa can't look away, can't stop listening. his mouth is slightly agape, his heart thumping in his chest. he does know this song. he has heard it before. he just hadn't been aware reki knew of it, especially not in english.

"what if he opens up a door,

and i can't close?"

he spins in the chair, facing the entrance to his room, eyes still shut, head thrown back, voice carrying. his voice fills langa's senses, his thoughts, and he swallows heavily when he sees just the tiniest bit of sweat glazing reki's forehead, watching a bead of it slowly slide down the side of his face.

"what happens then-"

his eyes are open now, and he's spotted langa and langa feels like a deer in the headlights. reki's mouth drops open, his entire body going stiff. but then his eyes are going soft, his lips turning upwards into a lazy smile.

"if when he holds me,

my heart is set in motion."

his voice is softer now, eyes sparkling, expression that of pure adoration as he stared across the room at langa. langa's breath is stolen from him all over again, and he can feel his cheeks warming up as reki's gaze stays on him, pinning him in place.

reki slowly stands up, somehow holding his guitar, still, somehow still playing it as he approaches langa. langa can't move, and can only watch as the redhead continues to approach him.

"i'm not prepared for that,

i'm scared of breaking open."

he's standing directly in front of langa now, the vibrations of his voice thrumming through langa's veins. he wets his lips again, his eyes drifting towards reki's. they're so pink, so plump, not even chapped. probably because of the chapstick he spreads across them every hour of the day. langa used to be annoyed by that action, but now, staring at them so closely, he appreciates it.

"but still i can't help from hoping,

to find someone to talk to."

he's in langa's personal space, their noses inches apart, their breaths mingling. langa stays stock still, afraid if he moves he'll ruin the entire moment. he opens his mouth a little, as an invitation. reki's eyes flicker to his lips for a second, sparkling.

"who likes the way i am,

someone who when he sees me,"

he's no longer playing the guitar. it's forgotten in his hands, only his voice filling the air with sound. a beautiful, soft sound that langa never wants to stop hearing. he wants to ingrain this moment into his brain forever.

"wants to again...."

and then reki's lips are on his, and his lips are on reki's. his breath catches for the third time that night, reki's warm lips fitting perfectly against his. the kiss is so slow, so awkward, so perfectly them. niether of them have ever kissed before, and this fact was made painfully obvious by how uncertain they were with one another.

reki takes the lead, something that pleasantly surprises langa. but he's happy to let reki lead, to follow his example.

their noses brush occaisonally, and langa hesitantly moves his hands upwards, grabbing fistfuls of reki's sweatshirt, hardly believe any of this was happening.

and felt like a wonderful dream. one he never wanted to wake up from.

okay i know people are thinking this is haru being vulnerable and then daisuke threatening him and closing him off

but this is most likely daisuke closing him off bc he doesnt want haru to get hurt, he knows what he’s doing is illegal and his methods of investigating will only get haru in trouble…

daisuke can buy his way out but he knows haru would never let him do him that favor as well. Not only that but haru, who has such a strong sense of righteousness and justice, will be personally hurt by using illegal methods and daisuke would rather keep haru away from all that bc he too knows haru would do anything for him

ok so I was so confused on why daisuke would have HUESC follow haru, especially when he couldve followed the suspect or the shadier cho-san. I mean if he wanted to know what was happening with his suspect, why follow the one who was feeling uneasy about this operation and therefore would subconsciously interact less with the suspect. haru ended up outside the door doing essentially nothing!!

but after rewatching for the 20th time i realized, daisuke is having HUESC follow, and most likely record, haru so that way he has evidence that haru was minimally involved, and that he eventually did the right thing.

that way when the consequences come down on everyone, at least haru will have the least blame since all he did was be a by stander until he decided to correct his mistake and get her a lawyer

so daisuke is just trying to keep haru out of it because he knows this isnt a mess haru should be dragged into and harus whole being revolves around justice and righteousness and haru wants to be in the pd to help people
