I am so absolutely sick of seeing extremely sex negative discourse within the therian community.

Just gonna say this all outloud for my own sanity:

It's okay to be a therian who is into primal play.

It's okay to be a therian who is in to pet play.

Packers and dildos based on non-human genitalia is affirming gear.

Anal plug tails are affirming gear.

Pup hoods are affirming gear.

Collars, leashes, harnesses, and other restraints are affirming gear.

I don't care how sex adverse an individual is. Your preferences do not get to supercede the completely harmless things that others can do.

I really don't understand the point of being a part of the community just to shit on other people in it?? If you dislike us so much then leave? This is nonhuman tumblr, you should expect us to be 'weird'.

No because I feel this needs to be discussed more, at least for 18+ alterhumans. I have yearned for the ability to have a litter of pups to call my own. I've spent nights lying in bed just imagining sweet, little bundles of fur beside me that I could watch grow and teach them everything I've learned. To have a mate the same species as me would be even more of a gift. To make ourselves a den to call home and raise our young. Sometimes my main fear with having children is that they'd have to grow in a human world. I want to raise my children as a wolf, not as a human.

i’ve seen a lot on the topic of nonhuman packers and sexual wellness the last couple of days, but what about reproductive wellness as a whole?

any other nonhumans crave pups? to have children with another partner of the same species?

and by that i mean another consenting human with the same nonhuman type.

cause oh hell, i do. i already have a packer from my own species, so i’m well off in that area. but pups? i would die to have a litter of my own. opinions on this? on wanting to nurture children the same way your species would? about pregnancy and birth as a nonhuman? about partnership? i think these are also important opinions and thoughts to spread around as well, within adult alterhuman spaces

this is something I've personally been struggling with. i’ve seen many people, even other nonhumans calling these odd or wrong thoughts to be having, about not wanting human kids unless they’re actually your pups.

i think it’s a normal thing to want, as a nonhuman. as long as everyone is consenting and comfortable. what do y’all think? is it wrong to want to have a nonhuman partner? the same nonhuman type as you? and to want to reproduce with that consenting partner?

i’m genuinely also asking for therian’s opinions on this. i have a more humanoid type (orc/werewolf mix), so i can’t speak for nonhumans with full animal types. genuinely curious to hear other thoughts on this. (and anytime i talk about nonhuman reproduction in this post, i’m specifically talking about humans who identify as nonhumans, not actual animals, obviously.)

Heya everybody!! I've returned just in time for Therianthropy Day!! Can't wait to stare lovingly at our great moon :3 Have some sorta reveal pictures of myself and my new gear I mentioned in my last post! Edit: Since most ppl aren’t reading the context: It does not fall on the 16th every year. It takes place on the first full moon of November, therefor falling on the 16th this year. Sorry to disappoint anyone who thought it was on their bday every year, it changes. /nm (just informing u)

Context: therianthrophy day is celebrated after the first howl (therian meet) ever done, which was organized to be on the first full moon of November so that’s why it is always celebrated on a varying date!!

NSFT/NSFW Nonhuman Zine- NOCTURNE

Nocturne is a collaborative zine for 18+ nonhumans whose identities creep into every facet of their life- in this case the bedroom! Are your kinks or fetishes intertwined with your nonhumanity? Maybe you engage in courtship rituals, or maybe intimacy is difficult due to species dysphoria. Whatever your case may be, we want to hear it.

Nocturne is seeking artwork, poems, short stories, essays, tips & tricks, and more! If you think it fits our goal of showcasing the intersection of nonhuman identity & intimacy, send it our way!

Submission guidelines:

Due to the nature of the zine, all participants must be 18 years old or over to participate. By contributing, you certify you are at least 18 years of age. Please provide your name and social media for accountability purposes & credit. If you wish to remain anonymous in the final zine let us know!

Written submissions may take any form, but must be under 10 pages (12pt font, double spaced for essays) and submit as a PDF. Artwork must be submit in PNG format- keep in mind it will be put on standard 8.5x11. You are welcome to submit up to 5 works!

Submissions are open until 12AM CST December 1, 2024 and can be sent via this form Provided everything goes smoothly, Nocturne will be available for free on January 1, 2025. If you wish to rescind a submission, please email nocturnenonhumanzine@gmail.com to let us know!
