(not cisco-related, but good enough to post on here)
i’m sleeping over at my cousins’ house and my aunt walked into the room blearily, looked around in a somnambulatory manner, and said “you guys need to go to sleep. morning is coming soon” AND THAT IS THE FUNNIEST THING I’VE HEARD IN A WHILE

I’M NOT GONNA LIE.. I ACTUALLY CRIED.
If It Were True
Pairing: Killervibe (Caitlin Snow/Cisco Ramon)
Summary:
“You two make such a cute couple,” The elderly woman cooed.
Caitlin’s eyes widened. “Oh—No, no we’re not a couple,” she stammered. “He’s just my best friend.”

It was a ridiculously humid day in August.
Star Labs had fans and air conditioning but it didn’t stop Caitlin’s or Cisco’s hair from frizzing. Caitlin recently got bangs again, and she wholeheartedly regrets the decision as they kept sticking to her forehead.
“Why don’t you just Killer Frost and spare yourself the misery?” Cisco complained. “Like, I know it had bad consequences for Arendelle but you should seriously consider pulling an Elsa and freezing Summer.”

I AM TEARY-EYED. HOLY COW. THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.
All Along
@briarsrosie‘s Killervibe Birthday Fic!
“Babe!” Iris called. “You guys need to go…”
“Alright,” Barry said, skidding in from the Speed Lab. “Cisco, you coming?”
“Yep,” he nodded, grabbing his goggles to pocket.
“Wait,” Caitlin said, beckoning Cisco forward. He stepped hesitantly, with an inquisitive brow.
Caitlin puts her hands over Cisco’s jacket, smoothing it out. It seemed like she was going to say something, but the words died out on her tongue. Their eyes connected.
“I’m going to be fine,” he promised gently.
“I know,” she said, fiddling with his zipper. A smile tugged up the corner of Cisco’s mouth.
Iris shared a glance with Barry. Something shifted between those two, Iris noticed. Caitlin was clingier to Cisco, more physically affectionate. And Cisco’s brown eyes melted like chocolate when he said her name.
Barry leaned forward, whispering into her ear. “Do you think they…?”
“Shh!” Iris shushed him, swatting his arm, not wanting to interrupt.

DRAFT
“C’mon, Ramon, c’mon!” he grunted through gritted teeth. For a while now, Cisco had been trying persistently to vibe the location of Jershon Barrio, the metahuman who had the ability to split atoms (although he used his powers to do villainous things). In their most recent battle, the Atom-Splitter (Cisco had yet to come up with a great name) made a van explode, distracting Team Flash and getting away with robbing the Central City Bank. A piece of metal from the car door was what Vibe was using to locate the villain, however, it wasn’t working. He took a step back to breathe, wiping his bloody nose and examining the deep gashes left on his hands.
It had been five days since his confrontation with Cicada in which the dagger sliced his hands, slowly deteriorating his powers and shooting searing pain up his arms. His powers normally filled him to the brim with life and energy, but now that they were faultering, he couldn’t help but doubt his worth. When he had first acquired them, he was afraid he’d Anakin-to-Vader, however, he learned to trust himself and these new abilities. Actually, he eventually became quite fond of his powers: Vibe was a major part of his life now.
He picked up the metal once more and took a deep breath. The energy thrummed from his chest and was carried swiftly down his arms, thrusting out of his fingertips with a blue flourish. He could only see faint glimpses— stacks of cash on an old table; greedy, angry eyes mostly obscured by a mask; silhouettes of what seemed to be a large yet empty warehouse—
But then a navy hue overclouded his vision and he fell to the ground, unconscious.
When he came to, he was laying in the chair in which Barry lost his memories to fight Savitar, accompanied by Caitlin. She looked up as he slowly propped himself up on his elbows, wincing.
“Cisco! Woah, take it easy. You’ve vibed a bit too much today, my friend.” She clasped her hands together as a sympathetic I’m-sorry-smile tugged at the corners of her lips.
“Ugh, did I get trampled by a stampede or something?” His head spun. “What happened?”
“I found you in your workshop, unconscious. When I saw the metal next to you and the blood dripping from your nose, I put two and two together.”
“Oh, gosh. Cait, I’m sorry—”
“No! Don’t apologize,” Caitlin interrupted, her voice soothing and sweet like thick honey. “You pushed yourself to your limit. It’s okay.”
“No, it’s not that.”
Caitlin gave him an inquisitive brow as he let out a slow breath.
“I think the dark matter in my hands—” he gestured to the gauze wrapping his palms— “is screwing with my powers. Finding people is usually easy for me, as you know. But this time, I couldn’t get a full vibe. I saw bits and pieces and then it all short circuited on me.”
Caitlin looked deep into his dark eyes as he continued, his voice lowered now.
“What if this takes away my powers completely? Vibe’s been such a huge part of my life for so long. I can’t imagine not having these abilities. I want to help people! I want to save lives! I want to protect the people I love, and you’re one of them! If I lose my ability to do so, what will I have to offer?”
There was a pause - a pause way too long to not raise concern. Anxiety grew wildly in the pit of Cisco’s stomach. He feared the worst, praying that the words to come out of her mouth would be positive. Caitlin sighed, and then began to speak.
“I loved you before you got your powers, and I love you now as well. You’re Cisco Ramon! The only guy I know who can quote hundreds of movies and create a countless amount of unique gadgets! You were willing to risk your safety just to find Barrio and help the team. You’re the most selfless person I know. You’re not just Vibe, you’re Cisco as well.
“You were the one who got absolutely soaked by pouring rain as you rushed to my broken household in the dead of night to comfort me after the Particle Accelerator explosion. You were the one who persuaded me to dance at that club when I wasn’t in the mood. You were the one who cheered me on with Ronnie, and then Jay, and then Julian, telling me that it was going to be okay. You’re such a unique person, Cisco, and your powers don’t define you. It’s your actions that do, and you’re a pretty awesome guy.”
The two of them shared a genuine smile. “Dang, you really know how to cheer someone up, don’t you?” Cisco inquired. “You’re incredible.”
(it’s one in the morning and i’m too tired to finish this. lalalalalala)

HOLY COW. THIS IS THE GREATEST THING-
I am going to be predictable! and ask for a killervibe drabble with the Pen Pals AU, please.
January 15th, 1999.
Hi,
My name is Annie, what’s yours? You already know my teacher is Mrs. Whitman, and that I’m in second grade. I’m seven-years-old, I love school, soccer, and riding my bike. I want to be a scientist when I grow up. What about you?
Love,
Annie.
Seven, and then later eight, year-old Cisco Ramon had three favorite days every month. The first was the last Tuesday, because it was always “stick day” in the cafeteria and hello? Chicken sticks, bread sticks, and ice cream sticks all in one day? At school? Every kid’s dream right there. The other two were the second and last Friday, because that was pen-pal day.
It was some program with a second grade class in Keystone, they couldn’t reveal their real names but the idea was to help them make friends with the kids in this class a city away and learn about different experiences so close to home, or something like that.
He didn’t really understand it, but it was fun.
Now, at thirty-years-old and helping his mom clean out her attic, Cisco can’t help the bright smile on his face when he recovers the box of Annie’s letters. Annie hadn’t been her real name, supposedly, they weren’t supposed to use their real names. He remembers the program clearly, even though all his classmates had forgotten it by summer, he hadn’t.
Annie had seemed cool, he would’ve liked to keep in touch with her after but his teacher wouldn’t give him her information, and he’d been too broken up about it to even consider asking his mom to talk to her.
He wonders, idly, what ever became of her; what she’s doing now. He fishes through the other letters, scanning over messy and yet intricate pencil scrawl that he can’t really make heads or tails of aside from a few words here and there. He doesn’t remember having this much trouble reading the letters as a kid; maybe kids have their own language they forget as they grow up.
As he gets towards the end of the school year the letters start to get more legible; to the point where he can make out a whole one.
May 7th, 1999
Dear Raph,
That sounds so cool! My school doesn’t let you do the science fair until FIFTH GRADE! Good luck with your robot car, I know you’ll do great! I can’t wait until I can do the science fair. My dad and I like to play this game where I get to make up pretend elements for the periodic table, and I think I’m going to try and make one for real!
Love,
Annie.
His jaw hits the floor.
There’s… There’s no way. No possible way but…. How many eight-year-old’s in 1999 Keystone City were making up their own elements?
All in one motion he drops the letter, replacing it in his hand with his phone, and he navigate’s to Caitlin’s number as fast as he can, his heart pounding, listening to the agonizing rings until-
“Hello?”
“YOU’RE ANNIE?!”
There’s a pause. A very, very long pause. So long that he almost start’s to think he’s wrong.
“What?”
“In second grade! OW!” He bites back a curse when standing up so fast results in him smashing his head against the low attic ceiling. “In second grade. Mr. Long’s class and Mrs. Whitman’s class did a pen-pal thing-”
“YOU’RE RAPH?!”
Relief settles in his chest, he doesn’t sound like a crazy person. Well, no more so than usual.
“Yes.” He breathes, smile still lighting up his face. “I’m helping my mom clean her attic and I found all your old letters-”
“You kept those?”
“Yes.” He answers, “Well, my mom did. Anyway apparently you told me about your’s and your dad’s element code game.”
She laughs on the other end, hard, so hard that he starts to laugh a little bit too.
“Oh God.” She finally breathes, more or less. “Don’t throw those out. I think I still have yours somewhere, they’ll make a lot more sense with both sets.”
“Ok.” He says, “I’ll bring them by later.”
“Ok, thanks Cisco. By.”
“By.”
He’s still grinning like an idiot as he hangs up. What are the chances? Annie turning out to be Caitlin? The girl he had a crush on the majority of his early life actually being the very same girl he’s spent the better half of his adult years thus far pining over?
It’s a funny story, and just his luck.

i haven’t fully introduced myself so let me do it here, haha.
hey! i’m kayla. i’ll be 17 in approximately a month and i’ve created this blog to show my genuine affection and appreciation towards cisco ramon from the flash. HOLY COW, this boy makes my heart melt. i’m still a novice to tumblr so i’m not as savvy as y’all but i’ll try my best.
alright. cisco freakin’ ramon. i can honestly say that in all my years of living and breathing, i have never loved a fictional character this much. he makes me SWOON. there have been times where i’ve rewound the TV (or laptop, if i’m using netflix) JUST to watch him swallow or otherwise react to something unimportant— i kid you not. i wholeheartedly appreciate this geek and i am genuinely crushed when he doesn’t get screen time (or when the writers screw up his character development anD STRIP HIM OF HIS POWERS FOR NO GOOD REASON!!!!??? 😠). ahem. i’m a HUGE sucker for killervibe and cynco and basically any other ship in which our movie-quoting metahuman-naming happy-go-lucky vibing & caring nerd is happy. that’s pretty much all i want: a happy cisco.
also! i’m a writer! short stories, poems, and vivid descriptions are my thing. 😎👊🏼 if you have any headcanons, send them in! my inbox is always open (although i’m not quite sure how to work it yet?). i’ll be posting my own headcanons and such on here too.
anyway, that’s about it. i hope i meet some cool people and make some cool friends! if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. cheers. ✌🏼
