Alternative end credit scene where Sonic sacrifices himself by the end of the movie but winds up back on his home planet where Amy finds him.

Context:

Amy: Sir, please wake up. This is no place for a hedgehog to be out in the open like this. Are you hurt? Are you ok?

Sonic:… not really… pretty… pink… angel…

Amy:😳

Sonic:…..

Amy: Oh sweet chaos! don’t die on me now. You can’t just flirt with a girl and then leave them hanging.

Before anyone ask

I love Sonamy

I like Shadamy

I don’t like Sonadow

And I think Sonshadamy is neat (don’t ask how that works if I don’t like Sonadow, I don’t completely understand it myself😭).

I know that we will most likely get more Sonamy, Shadamy, (if Amy is in the third movie), and …. Sonadow, but what about Sonshadamy? I really hope we get some movie Sonshadamy fan content (but I’m also ok with just some movie Sonamy or Shadamy content).

Context:

I love the idea of both Sonic and Amy helping heal Shadow from his trauma. Sonic could help bring out a bit of his childish side with their rivalry. While Amy reminds Shadow of his true promise to Maria, through her kindness and compassion. And maybe both can go super to save the shadow from falling (not likely, but I can dream 🥲).

I would be mad/disappointed if they do this but… what if we get Rouge and Amy in the end credit scene?

Context:

By the end of the film, Shadow doesn’t get redeemed (yet) and Sonic is forced to banish Shadow using his warp ring (Amy deserves to be the one to redeem Shadow and I will die on this hill).

Shadow is redeemed but it leads to him sacrificing himself to save everyone. Not being able to reach Shadow in time Sonic does the only thing he can, he uses his warp ring. Unfortunately due to not being in the right state of mind, Sonic sends Shadow to an unknown location.

Both result in Shadow being sent to Sonic’s home world, where he’s found by Amy and Rouge.

I think it would be an interesting twist for Shadow to develop a strong connection to Sonic’s home world (and the residents) while Sonic has one for Earth.

Bonus context:

Amy: Sir, sir are you ok? Are you hurt?

Rouge: think he got any loot?

Amy: You are NOT robbing this poor hedgehog!

Shadow:*half conscious* Maria…?

Context

I have always loved how Amy always has faith there’s good in everyone even if they don’t believe in it themselves. Most of her allies and sometimes enemies view this as a strength, but what about those that view it as a Weakness who would take advantage of it? Surprisingly I haven’t seen that much content that has someone take advantage of Amy’s kindness and compassion. So what if when Amy first arrived on earth in the SCU someone took advantage of Amy's trusting nature?

(Like her origin in the game) Amy does a tarot card reading that leads her to Earth in search of her hero

She arrived a couple of months before G.U.N. Locate and release project shadow

Unfortunately, G.U.N. are the first humans Amy encounters who gladly accept Amy’s offer to aid on their mission

They were even kind enough to gift her a new outfit and high-tech pack that would be more practical for the “adventure” they’re going on.

In reality, the “gift” was Eggman's old tech that they refurbished to keep new intergalactic arrivals in their control (they were originally going to use it on Shadow once they found him).

The pack on her back is meant to send a controlled shock to keep the chosen subject in line

Sadly By the time Amy discovers that these people are up to no good she is already in too deep, experiencing her first shock at her first act of defiance.

Since then, Amy unwillingly works for G.U.N alongside Shadow (and eventually Rouge too).

Despite the circumstances, Amy remains kind and compassionate toward the humans she works with.

She even won the hearts of some of the more compassionate agents who worked at G.U.N (unfortunately they couldn’t help as much as they wanted to).

She still retains hope that she find her hero, and they’ll put their heads together and get her out of this mess.

Until then, she begrudgingly obeys orders and tries her best to wait out the storm (and maybe try to find her way out).

Shadow is the opposite of Amy, he is a lot colder and sometimes even aggressive towards other humans (especially G.U.N. Operatives).

He just works with G.U.N. For his own means to an end ( like the game shadow has amnesia and his memories have been tampered went to exact his revenge on humanity for Maria’s sake).

Despite his cold nature toward those around him, he forms a genuine bond with Amy Rose (and eventually Rouge too).

Amy is one of the few people Shadow finds comfort and peace in despite her sometimes overwhelmingly bubbly and energetic personality.

He can’t help but be reminded of Maria whenever he catches Amy taking in every nook and cranny of what Earth has to offer whenever they’re on their missions.

G.U.N. Takes notice of this and eventually takes full advantage of this to keep Shadow in their control

Shortly after Shadow was released, Rouge arrived on Earth, her sights set on the legendary master emerald.

Fortunately, Rouge was able to keep her distance (and guard up) enough to not let G.U.N. pull something similar to Amy (much to Amy’s relief).

Rouge and G.U.N. Do strike a deal, if rouge works with them the emerald is her’s (at least it is what they lead her to believe)

The team officially form intending to apprehend Sonic and his friends

Throughout their missions and training sessions, Shadow and Amy's bond grows stronger along with their new teammate Rouge.

Shadow and Rouge form a friendship built on trust and respect.

While Amy and Rouge's friendship is rough around the edges (they bicker a lot), they do have some form of respect for each other (they kind of have a sister relationship going on that neither of them would admit).

Rouge eventually gets curious about what is in it for Amy working for G.U.N. Which gets Shadow curious. they both know Amy is not the type to work for these goons to get something out of it.

Amy hesitantly replies that she wanted to help them out, but things got… complicated, so now she’s here.

Amy doesn’t want to worry Shadow or appear weak to Rouge, nor does she want to get them too involved in her problems.

Shadow and Rouge are suspicious that there’s something more going on between Amy and G.U.N that she’s not telling them.

Sadly, their suspicions are confirmed when one of their missions goes wrong and Amy takes the brunt of the blame.

Shadow steps in to stop them while Rouge comforts Amy the best she can

with the confirmation that not just Shadow but Rouge cares deeply for Amy, G.U.N. not so subtly threatens Shadow and Rouge that this could happen again if they aren't so compliant on their next mission.

As Shadow comforts Amy, his hatred for G.U.N and humanity has cemented if it wasn’t already. He promised himself that he would stop at nothing to get Amy out of this place and make every last one of these agents pay. Unbeknownst to him, Rouge had made a similar promise to herself (but not to the full extent of ending all of humanity).

Eventually, the team encounters their target Sonic heroes, which leads to a lot of conflict

Amy is certain that Sonic is the hero that she was destined to meet and that they should accept the help they are offering

Shadow disagrees, feeling that Sonic is nothing but an idiot who can’t save anyone (and besides he didn’t need saving).

Amy is willing to take that chance with Sonic and attempts to accept his help but Shadow quickly intervenes when he notices the two warning beeps and her pack starting to activate.

Before the final warning, shadow grabs Amy (unintentionally sending the message that Shadow is taking Amy hostage to the heroes and pissing Amy off).

Realizing that G.U.N would never let Amy go so easily (assuming that the pack would terminate her if she were to side with the enemy). Shadow decides to take a risk with the heroes.

Before Shadow Chaos controls away with his teammate/hostage, he gives the heroes a good look at Amy’s pack and glares down at the heroes stating “If you’re truly looking for someone to save then pay attention!”

Sonic and Knuckles are enraged by Shadow's cowardly and low action of taking the girl hostage to escape their fight.

That was until Tails showed his brother what unit managed to pick up on Amy.

The brothers are horrified by what could’ve happened if Shadow hadn’t intervened in time. They all agree to take things carefully when trying to help Amy.

Sonic wants to help Shadow reignite after learning what he is willing to do to save Amy (he was just gonna be a tough nut to crack).

Rouge later gives the heroes blueprints on the pack to aid them in safely getting Amy free

Eventually, thanks to the help of Rouge and Tails’ careful planning, they were able to free Amy from their control.

With Amy safe, Shadow finally initiates his revenge against G.U.N and humanity.

Amy isn’t having it, so she confronts Shadow who doesn’t understand why after everything the government/humans have put her through she would still defend them.

She calmly replies that yes, she has experienced the worst of humanity, but she also witnessed the good in humanity with her brief time on earth.

Amy’s heartfelt speech strikes a chord with Shadow, reminding him of his true promise to Maria.

Wanting to make things right Shadow makes a new promise to Amy before aiding Sonic in saving the world.

Spoiler for the Knuckles series, so read at your own risk….

So I don't know if it's a plot hole or they are planning to do something with this later(I doubt it), but I find it weird that Knuckles (and Pachacamac) act like they are the sole victim(s) with what happened between the owls and echidnas.

Was Pachacamac just twisting facts during the dream sequence with Wade? (the fall of Knuckles’s dad)?

Did Sonic and Tails ever tell Knuckles what they discovered at the owl temple with the history of the owls and echidna war? (they had to be power-hungry for the owl to have to get involved unless we’re missing something from the story).

Did Sonic ever tell Knuckles that the last of his tribe hunted down the last owl guardian who was just a mother protecting her kid!?!

Knuckles’ father/tribe was not ganged up on by a bunch of owls. Longclaw was the only one, and she was ganged up on, based on what we're shown in the first movie.

It would be interesting if we get an arc with Knuckles slowly finding out that his tribe may not be as honorable as he thinks, especially if they tackle Tikal’s story in the film. I highly doubt it, but I can hope.

Movie Amy hybrid

Ok so I watched the Knuckles series with my sis and it was…. Disappointing …but kinda fun?

Anyway, I caved. Imma gonna post this somewhat knuckles-related movie Amy AU.

So back when we didn’t know much about the Knuckles series it inspired me to come up with a possible plot for the series that spiraled into a way to introduce Amy and an old fan theory.

Context:

Sonic and Knuckles head back to their home world for some one-on-one brotherly bonding on a quest to retrieve an ancient echidna war hammer.

Sonic and knuckles have strains and awkward relationships due to their past with their guardian/tribe.

Unbeknownst to the brothers another warrior who has some history with the echidna tribe

They eventually encounter the warrior who goes by Amy Rose, daughter of Tikal and Adam Rose.

Amy is a hedgehog echidna hybrid who wants to claim the war hammer as her right, which Knuckles strongly disagrees with.

With Sonic’s help, the two warriors come to a truce; they'll work together to find the hammer, and the most worthy one will claim their prize.

OK, that’s it for now, I have more ideas for this, but I'm too tired to write it. I've been up since 3 am. to watch the Knuckles series, I'm going to bed now.😴

I hate how many people are misunderstanding what this tweet is trying to say, and yes, before you say anything, I wholeheartedly agree with it.

"So you want the obsessive stalker back-" no, motherfucker, that's not what I want, that's not what any of us want. The flanderized monster this fandom conceptualized on their heads only existed in two bad games and one cutscene in Heroes, that was NEVER 2000s Amy in any way. If you think that's what we want, you understand shit about Amy and you should shut the fuck up 🙂. Like, I rather this than the emotionless nothing burger she is now.

"But Amy is so much better nowadays, she's mature and doesn't chase Sonic-" I've seen the same argument structure MANY times to count, that's all these people talk about because they don't really care about Amy more than the superficial shit she's hated for. Like, if it were for this fandom, Amy would instantly be deleted from this series, that's why many fangames omitted her, but because they know she can't be cut, accepting an emotionless brick wall is the same as killing her off. It's never about her personality or her interactions with others, it's always about not annoying this garbage fandom.

And can I ask, what is she mature about? If it's about her love for Sonic, it's a watered down more boring dynamic of the two, which is not maturity. The shit about Sonic's "boundaries" is that he never waits for ANYONE, so that's why Amy chases him, that is the MAIN THING why she's involved in the games, not only does she love Sonic, she'd rather be with him having fun than on her home doing nothing. These two are one and the same for many different reasons, but they're also their own people, she loves him because of who he is, no "fangirl" would put up with him running away as much as Amy does. I'm sort of baffled that this fandom twisted her crush to turn it into a flaw she has to get over, bitch, she's the love interest, she was created to love the protagonist, that's like saying Tails has to separate himself from Sonic to mature.

If it's about her attitude towards big events, I say bullshit, because it's also not maturity. I'll be saying this until the sun blows up, but Amy can, will and should've lighten up the mood in Frontiers, I fucking hate that the tone is excused to explain why she's such a bore to watch. There's not even a character study for her, her side of the story comes and goes without ANY fanfare, her island is cut in half and no one gave a flying fuck about adapting the changes. Amy's story in Frontiers feels as incomplete as her personality, because on top of being boring, she's not even optimistic, she drowns in misery, she doesn't write the story, the story writes HER. Past games already had Amy go out of her way to have fun regardless of the situation: The Arc is about to be powered up? She complains about being left out of the fun. Chocola and Froggy are missing? She takes the opportunity to make fun of Eggman as her team encounters him. Metal became a flying kaiju that threatens to end organic life? She still makes fun of him saying it's his fault Sonic and her aren't together. A robot is chasing her because of saving a bird? She gets excited for the Twinkle Park offer of "cute couples get in free" instead.

And if it's about her leadership, it's been amped up to annoying degrees to replicate certain chipmunk, which neither is maturity and I'll explain why. If there's a trope I hate with all my heart is the girl being a mother figure inside the male dominated group, I always avoid this trope in my writing, because it only makes women into unflattering caricatures made to scold the boys at every given time, mothers to people close to their age. This is what Amy turned into, and it's all thanks to the goddamn cardboard cutout from Boom. I can count the number of times this happens: "Everyone, distract Eggman, and buy Tails some more time", "Guys, focus, Knuckles needs to weaken the thing's hold on the emeralds, and Tails needs to break them free", this just screams how much Flynn prefers to have Sally in Amy's place. When has Amy ever given any instructions in Heroes? None, zero, nada, she's on equal footing with Cream and Big. When has Amy ever given instructions in IDW? An obnoxious amount during the Metal Virus arc to say the least. I will accept that Amy is a leader, but not THIS kind of leader, this is Sally's thing, not Amy. But back to the obnoxious trope, even if it's not said, you feel it creeping in. How she worries about Sonic, how she shakes her head towards the boy's responses to The End, everything Sonic Boom related, the pity she feels towards Infinite's creation, there may be some other examples but whatever.

This Amy is not mature, if anything, she's less so, because closing down your emotions as opposed to expressing what you feel is not something mature people do. Back then, Amy knew when to get serious, she was still herself and even in boiling points like 06's end of time, she stopped crying and got up as opposed to waiting for a miracle, she made said miracle happen. If there's something I admire about her is that, even when the situation may seem helpless, she won't give up anyways, to her, the story ends only when she completely falls to the ground, but until then, she will always stand up. This is maturity, not whatever the fuck we have now is. Which is why Frontiers Amy sucks, because she drowns in misery instead of remaining optimistic, she straight up gave up her agency to Sonic. And this is why her Koco story falls apart, because this is not about her as a person, this is not about her relationship, this is not about her journey, it's about introducing the fucking themes you'll see throughout the game so you familiarize yourself once you get to save Tails and Knuckles, the two characters Flynn prefers to focus on and the two characters the game prefers to focus on. Fucking hell, has the early idea of an Amy centric story sounded better than the final game's story.

If anything, Flynn sucks at writing Amy because he doesn't care, and I hope that he gets a supporting writer (that preferably knows a lot more about Amy) if he's going to keep writing for the games. He's a Sonic fan, and that means he's bound to misunderstand this pink hedgehog as much as they do.

Anyways, here's what I want Amy to be: Expressive, fun, a menace but with a heart of gold, loud but also understanding, energetic as hell, unapologetically feminine, and on top of all undefeatable, someone who will always stand up until she can't anymore. Let her have flaws, let her commit mistakes, let her get angry and throw tantrums, let her not have this goddamn mom attitude every time, who cares about the haters? They will hate her anyways no matter how much of her personality is erased. The current direction appeals to no one, because the people that hate her still do, the people that like her feel disappointed, and the people that don't care don't feel drawn to Amy anyways.

The hospitals here is so poor and bad and the quality of her treatment is getting worse and worse because the quality of the hospitals is bad, because of the conditions of the war. So please guys, help my family, we deserve to- we deserve a decent life, we deserve to start a new beginning and deserve a new life.

Pink hedgie approved

(Not my best but I still wanted to post it)

I thought it would be funny if Amy accidentally gained the approval of both Knuckles and Tails (and even Sonic)

Tails approves of Amy due to her mechanical skills (I like to think Amy has some engineering skills since she owns a car in the games though they're not as advanced as Tails) and her willingness to listen to him ramble about his new tech, despite not always understanding it.

Knuckles approve of Amy because of her strength and warrior capabilities/potential. Amy was able to knock knuckles off his feet during a sparring match creating a mini crater which Amy profusely apologizes for.

Like the saying “The quickest way to a man’s heart is the man’s stomach”, Sonic is quickly won over by Amy’s amazing cooking skills, particularly her homemade chili dogs. (Sonic isn’t quite ready to admit Amy won his heart so easily, especially with his brothers ‘teasing’ him about marriage).
