“Y/N… what do you say?” All eyes landed on you, waiting for your response to Aang’s question. However, there was only one pair of eyes in particular you glared back at; and if looks could kill, the recently renounced Fire Nation prince in front of you would’ve surely met his demise right then. But Zuko knew how to hold himself in front of those who wanted to intimidate him. If there was anything his father taught him, it was that much.

Despite your fiery stare and previous threats from the first time he pleaded for forgiveness that you’d “knock him on his ass” if he ever came near you again, he kept his composure. There was no doubt in his mind you’d stay true to that warning, which is why he made sure to keep enough distance between the two of you.

There was a hopeful gleam in his eyes, so far Aang, Sokka, Katara, and Toph had agreed to let him join the team, albeit some more hesitantly than others. If everyone else found it in their hearts to forgive and forget, surely you could as well. Wrong.

“No.”

You saw the last bit of hope fizzle from his eyes as defeat weighed down on him, causing his shoulders to sink and his head to drop. “I know you don’t trust me, I don’t blame you. I’ve done horrible things, hurt you and your friends-”

“You can’t even begin to imagine the amount of pain you’ve caused me!” Your words held a venomous sting, yet your tone was strained, calm almost.

OIKAWA TOORU

• when you put makeup on him / use him as a canvas to practice looks.

• you would do it on yourself, but it’s easier to follow along with the tutorials when doing it on someone else. plus it gives you an excuse to spend time with and be close to your boyfriend.

• oikawa will literally complain non-stop about how he doesn’t want you prodding at his face with brushes and how all the products will make him break out. but the second you do a new look without practicing on him first he’s offended.

• because no matter how much he claims to hate it, he secretly loves it. the brushes feel so soft and ticklish against his skin, and your touch is always so gentle and warm. plus, he’s more than happy with the proximity between the two of you.

• as a comprise for letting you do this, you let him lay on his back on your shared bed (the lighting isn’t great but at least he’s comfy). you’ll splay out your products around the empty bed space and then perch yourself on top of him, straddling his hips. you’ll get super close to his face, bending down to hover over him, the palm of your non dominant hand pressed against his chest to steady yourself

• he’s lowkey scared you’ll feel how fast his heart is beating, but you never mention it.

• your face is mere inches away from his and he takes full advantage of this, stealing little kisses from you when you’re least expecting it.

• also loves to rest his hands on your hips, playing with the hem of your shirt, finger tips lightly grazing the skin beneath.

• mf thinks its funny to poke your sides randomly to make you jump

• “tooru– keep doing that and i’ll actually stab you in the eye.”

• spoiler alert: he keeps doing it and you do end up stabbing him in the eye (accidently ofc)

• after you’re done, he’ll let you take as many photos of the look as you want. he even takes a few for himself because he’s proud of your work and wants to show it off to iwa later.

IWAIZUMI HAJIME

• when you use his body wash, cologne, shampoo, etc. basically anything that makes you smell like him.

• makes him go absolutely feral inside.

• started one day when you ran out of your own body wash and you just used his instead. so when you went to hug him after your shower and he got a giant whiff of his body wash clinging to your figure? oh boy, he was done for.

• “sorry hajime, i forgot to buy more body wash yesterday so i just used yours, i hope that’s okay.”

• “yeah, it’s fine.”

• iwaizumi hajime is indeed not fine.

• he’s all cool and collected on the outside, but internally he’s losing his mind and thinking some not so safe for work thoughts.

• he starts doing things like: buying the larger bottles of his body wash, putting your body wash behind his or on a higher shelf, giving you clothing doused in his cologne, one time he even hid the new bottle you’d just bought for a few days before he “miraculously” found it.

• don’t get me wrong, he absolutely loves the way you smell and all of your products, but there’s just something about you smelling like him that gives him an odd sense of pride and makes his heart race.

• he never directly tells you he likes when you smell like him, but he’ll drop little hints like saying “you smell nice” and “i like the new body wash you’re using.”

• “haj, this is your body wash?”

How the hq boys react to you pulling an all-nighter

Kuroo Tetsurou:

Kuroo had grown used to waking up with you pressed against his side in the early morning hours, each time pulling you closer and reveling in your warmth. It’d become something of a routine. He always woke up before you, eventually resorting to gently poking at your face when he grew impatient with the lack of attention.

However, this time as he reaches out, his fingers only grasp at cold and empty sheets. He lifts his head a little, peering through hazy eyes to search for your presence. When he realizes you weren’t in your shared room, he lazily rolls out of bed to search for you. Maybe you’d woken up before him. It was rare that this happened, but when it did, you always made breakfast and had it waiting for the two of you when he woke.

After scouring the kitchen to no avail, he moves on to the living room of your small shared apartment. Sure enough, there you were, but why?

That’s right! It hit him, you stayed up late to finish a lab report for one of your classes. However, when he went to bed he’d been under the impression that you’d eventually join him when you finished, not stay up the entire night. Yet there you were, still in the same position he’d left you in the night before. Hunched over a laptop, staring at the dim screen with dead eyes, attempting to comprehend the words on the screen. Snack wrappers and empty energy drink cans were scattered around your laptop along with a few loose pieces of paper and texts books. You looked absolutely exhausted, dark circles already forming just beneath your eyes.

Thin Ice - Kuroo Tetsurou x Reader

SUMMARY: after an intense fight with kuroo, you resign to the couch for the night. however, kuroo still needs his nightly dose of cuddles and is determined to get them

“Whatever Tetsurou, I’m too tired for this anymore. I’m done.” The two of you had been arguing into the late night hours about God knows what at this point. So much had regrettably been said in the past hour that you couldn’t even tell who was in the wrong anymore. It was just one thing after the other. Your cheeks were damp with the few tears you’d been unable to hold back and your head was pounding like a drum. You were absolutely drained.

Not that Kuroo was fairing much better, dark bags hung under his blood shot and glossy eyes, causing his face to look a little more hollow than it actually was. If anything, he looked even more exhausted than you were.
