To Her Future Lover

First and foremost, don’t play her, don’t talk to her if you plan on leaving later down the road. Don’t make the mistakes I made. Get to know her, her do’s and don’t. Memorize her favorite drink from Starbucks, and it’s a difficult one, very difficult, but if you can, ask for her friend that works there for her drink. She loves strawberry refreshers! Especially durning her breaks. Know that she loves flowers, especially sunflowers, but not the big gigantic ones, because those according to her words “They scare her because she feels as if they’re going to reach down and grab her.” So surprise her when you get the chance with a small dozen or so. She even loves flowers if you plucked them from the sidewalk and give her even one. It’ll make her day, and her smile will make yours. Know that she LOVES coffee, especially really dark coffee, with little to no cream or sugar, so if you ever want to take a sip of her coffee, just know you’ll be getting black coffee. She also loves coffee flavored ice cream, especially for when she’s on her lady days. Know that she hates milk chocolate, but loves dark chocolate because according to her “It taste like coffee.” She loves Asian food, so when you take her out on dates, know that she loves a little restaurant called “Shang Hai” or if not, Panda Express will do. She loves the walnut chicken, I believe it is, from there, and orange chicken. Tell her that she’s beautiful every chance you can get. Tell her when she’s caked up her face and wears her cute little dresses, and even when she doesn’t want to get ready and puts her hair up in a bun and wears spandex and an over sized sweater. Tell her that she’s beautiful, because she is. When she’s having an anxiety attack, don’t freak out too because it won’t help. If you’re with her, hold her, calm her down, and if you’re not with her, stop whatever you are doing and call her, make sure she’s okay. You’ll be her favorite person so she’ll want to hear your voice. When meeting her family, be ready for a surprise because her family means everything to her. Her dad may not like you at first, and that’s okay, her mom is very friendly and funny, her three little sisters are something else, the little one is super funny, she’ll probably love you in an instant, the two older ones might take a while to get to know, but they’re very friendly once you get to know them. Don’t bring her home late when you both go out on dates! Her parents trust you, don’t break their trust. Take care of their daughter. Don’t play her, please. She’s been through too much, especially with me. Don’t do what I did wrong. I regret it every single day. Respect her, always respect her no matter what. Don’t ever mistreat her, don’t raise your voice at her, never disrespect her, don’t make her look stupid, and never make her do something she doesn’t want to. She might be a pain in the ass sometimes, and she might give you headaches here and there, but at the end of the day, it’s going to be worth it. What day doesn’t go by where I think about you. What day doesn’t go by where I wished I could tell you the little exciting things that had happened to me. What day doesn’t go by where I wished I could see that beautiful smile of yours. If only you knew the truth about why I had to let you go. If only. It kills me to see that you’re doing so great without me in your life, but at the same time it makes me happy. It makes me happy because I know you are now loving who you are, you are now happy with how happy you are. It brings a tear to my face, and a smile at the same time. I now love how you are growing and becoming a strong woman. I witnessed a teenage girl transforming into a woman. And what a lucky guy I am to have seen that. As I’m crying typing this, I tell myself that it was the best for you. I’ll always love you, I know I will. I broke down telling my best friend why I had to break up with you, I cried on the way home, I cried trying to go to sleep that night, wishing you were here with me. Oh gosh I’d do anything to have you next to me, but I know I can’t, not because I want to, but because it’s the best for you. I was only a cancer to you. Pain.

It hurts so bad seeing her do better, it hurts knowing I still love, but that I had to let her go. She wouldn't understand why I had to. She wouldn't. In my eyes she's the most beautiful girl in the world, no one can compare to her. No one. Oh god, what I'd give to get another shot with her. I miss her like crazy. I wish I could see her again.
