I think I've seen a lot of people point this out but yeah I agree that bestie is going to die despite all this effort that Blake is putting into making sure whatever he saw doesn't happen

the sovereigns clearly don't care about him let alone bestie and they literally told him so to his face and to besties face that was eavesdropping at them to keep them alive (despite as Blake said they are the reasons why he freed the sovereigns) the moment he's been seeing for years now of them dying is going to happen regardless (or worse if it happens because of all this shit he's dragging them through)

I think that what he saw in the future is single-handedly caused by him going batshit insane to try to save them like it's a closed circle of him seeing it because he does it and does it because he's trying to change it, but in trying to change it he's reaching it

like that death that he's been seeing all these years ago has been predetermined already and what he sees in the future the picture of them dying is not something that he could avoid, what he's seeing in that future is the ending of the story like what he's is in the future is the ending after he tries and after he all this happens and they still die (am I making sense? like the ending he's seeing is with him trying to stop it included, he's not changing shit because him trying to stop it was already within the future)

in short I just think that all he's doing is just filling out his self-fulfilled prophecy, his future included him trying to stop it and it not working already like it's been new he just doesn't know it yet

listening to the audio again now that its public :3 (sum spoilers down belowww)

firstly i wanna say that the effects are amazing??? and paired with the acting makes the whole thing a cinematic masterpiece holy moly. if there was any audio that deserved to be released on/near the channelversary, this is the one bc WOWIEEE!!! its rlly immersive and makes me feel like im actually there, and i genuinely flinched any time Blake accidentally(?) lashed out at Bestie (i dont do well w yelling 😞 you cant be mean to me, im a fragile lil guy)

Blake and Bestie are freak4freak but not in the 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 way, but in the extremely morally gray way (which yknow, has been established for almost a year now but i feel it needed to be said again). Blake is so lost in his delusion that if he keeps Bestie by his side, nothing bad will happen to them, but also doesnt take into account that he has a wild card of an eldritch horror trying to take control of his body (and if the way D'Deridahn absolutely obliterated the original owner of the car is anything to go by, Bestie is NAWT safe when theyre with Blake, which. yknow. doesnt pair well with his obsession of them and want to keep them for himself for all eternity)

and while it was established that Bestie is very morally gray (seeing that they didnt freak out about anything Blake revealed to them in his quest to keep them alive, which yknow, included kidnapping people, making one of them relive one of the most traumatic moments of their life, threatening to kill them, etc), it really sounds like this wasnt exactly what they signed up for... its giving "at first i was like 'omg what if my situationship-turned-boyfriend was possessed by an eldritch horror' as a joke! but bro... i dont think its a joke anymore..."

while im not a #1 Blake fan, i do really appreciate the nuance in his story, as well as getting a different pov from the perceived "bad guy(s)", and just getting a look into their minds and whats going on with them. and i love the way that this particular audio makes you feel some kind of pity/sympathy for Blake because, while he may be a morally bankrupt person, the way D'Deridahn is basically playing him like a fiddle (and especially with how good the acting is), you cant help but feel sorry for him, even if hes the one who put himself in this situation in the first place

uhh anyways tldr; this audio is peak cinema and i cant wait to see what happens next in this series :3
