KEATON: c'mon, you know i've been working out. i see the gym more than my own bed, which is a super grim thought

KEATON: still no guarantee that i'll be able to pull off the spandex though

KEATON: yeah sure, i'll join you, i need all the workouts i can get to be able to rock this spandex

We don’t want you getting caught up in anything troublesome, yeah?” Pure affection laced Dylan’s voice as he glanced at the younger actor, one arm not-too-loosely wrapped around @keaton-reynolds‘s shoulders. It was a strange feeling, but one that he welcomed, thinking he was allegedly showing someone around who wanted some guidance. Even if it came from him. “So – are you like, thirsty? Hungry? Wanting to meet anyone particularly? I can arrange for most of that. If you want. Or, if you wanna leave, that’s cool, too,” he backtracked, leaning closer so he could better hear over the music around them.

was apprehensive the appropriate word to use to describe keaton’s present state of being? he couldn’t be certain but it was the most accurate one he could think of in that moment in time. he was barely focusing on the older male’s words as he glanced around the party. even now, he still felt very much like the new kid –  the baby of the studio – despite the fact that he was neither the newest nor the youngest. “nothing troublesome, right,” he murmured in agreement, looking up at dylan with a hint of a smile. he had to think over the options he’d just been giving, his usually quick-fire brain seemingly delayed for once in his life. “uh, i’m always hungry. and thirsty, actually.” he wasn’t overly bothered about meeting anyone in particular, presently. they all looked a little rowdy for his liking and he’d much prefer to meet them properly, in far less hectic circumstances. still, he made sure to keep close to dylan’s side, grateful for the guidance and reassurance.

what up losers its me, cocnuts, again

the paparazzi have spotted keaton reynolds, the nineteen year old actor who’s currently working as nolan reese on superhuman. the tabloids have called them inquisitive and perceptive, but also bashful and irresolute. during their time in the spotlight, they’ve been dubbed the polymath.

alrighty i’m literally making this up as i go along so here goes

my boy keaton jude reynolds was born on the 13th february 1999 in ocala, florida, to papa jude and mama christine reynolds

he’s the baby of the family, with an older brother and an older sister

his family is relatively peaceful – parents still married, siblings moved out

throughout school he was always like, the nerd?? like the other kids would be at parties and then there was my boy keats, chilling out in the library buried in a good book, or in his room watching a top quality documentary probably about penguins or something (obviously narrated by my main man david attenborough)

basically he’s always been fairly socially awkward and shy, so one fateful day someone suggested acting classes to help boost his confidence

spoiler alert: he turned out to be really good at it

he wound up being the lead role in most of his school’s productions and on stage, he was a totally different keaton to the socially awkward one that people passed in hallways

his parents were like bam he’s all grown up and encouraged him to perform more in the hope that it’d open him up more off-stage as well as on-stage

he was part of the local theatre group, which is (surprise surprise) how he got spotted

he did a few jobs as an extra or secondary roles in tv shows and movies for a few years, and then decided ‘hey this is actually kinda cool’

the family were like ‘oh shit he’s developing a personality, let’s encourage it before it fades away’ so they moved over to, you guessed it, los angeles!!

and now here he is on superhuman as nolan reese

in terms of personality, he’s super intelligent. always has been a nerd, always will be one

if he’s not on set, he’ll probably be in a corner somewhere reading

he’s pretty insecure still? despite the acting classes to boost his confidence, he’s still v unsure of himself since he’s new to the industry and only decided that this was what he wanted to do like, a few years ago whereas most people have it as a life-long dream

he’s a real sweetheart, super trusting of people and always offering a shoulder to cry on

don’t ask him to tell someone what to do - he doesn’t have an assertive bone in his body and couldn’t be a leader if you paid him to be

he really is the baby of the studio like. he’s a liability okay he needs protecting

other stuff about him ummm

he has a cat called chewbacca and two goldfish called magikarp and gyarados

his favourite animal is 100% a penguin and he knows so much useless information about sharks like. he will literally open a conversation with a shark fact
