So I dropped to 177 last week but now I’m back up to 184ish again? Disappointing, really hoping it’s water weight. Some of it has to be right? Like I haven’t been eating 3500 kcal a day over my tdee to gain 7 pounds in a week. Really really really missing the gym rn.

just one cookbook - a super wide variety of japanese recipes. easy step-by-steps and all the recipes i’ve tried have been delicious
souped up recipes -  chinese recipes - very informative videos and tasty food - i love her personality too
maangchi - who doesn’t love maangchi. delicious korean recipes and a fabulous personality
get curried - a huge variety of recipes from various regions of india 
simply mama cooks - my fav for tejano food. i believe she’s a mexicana married into a korean family, and draws a lot from that
immaculate bites - mostly quick ‘tasty’ style video recipes focusing on southern us, african, and carribean foods. easy and delicious stuff!
stove top kisses - fun and delicious recipes and the videos are super fun to watch - mostly american food
j kenji lopez alt - author of the book ‘the food lab’ - he’s maybe my favorite recipe developer out there. all kinds of food and hes super knowledgeable

Easy Scallion Pancakes, From Batter Directly
I love to serve my family green onion scallion pancake as breakfast or with other meals when I cook porridges or congee. Honestly, scallion pancake is one of the most frequently dish on my family table. However, after kneading dough and kneading dough for quite a long time, I am a little bit tired and thus developed a simplified version. No need to knead the dough and only 5 minutes preparation. Though the pan-cake comes out slightly different, it is quite satisfying too. And traditionally version instructions are listed in Chinese scallion pancake and a Shanghai style version in scallion pancakes.

Been hovering around 180, but not yet into the 170s. Parents moving in has slightly derailed life and slowed progress. However, parents brought dog so I’ve been challenging myself to get over 5,000 steps a day minimum. Not much but if I can’t hit the gym for resistance training at least I can up my NEAT. Right at the edge of my first ugw and I feel very proud of that (not really but apparently I need to ‘recognize achievements’ ).

I’ve been super worried about quarantine and my weight loss stuff that I ran out and bought a scale as part of my 1/2weeks groc shop. I’m down to 184(!) according to this scale, which is super super cheap but probably not off by 8 pounds. I’m 4 pounds away from my original goal weight!! I’m 4 lbs from no longer being considered obese!! Now the real challenge is to stay the course and not self sabotage lol.
