Little Boy is 2️⃣ today! How the time flies with Charlie❤️ Charlie’s very smart, has a big personality in his little body, has been a very good puppy, and continues to be my shadow everywhere I go. He loves the dog park, wrestling, and playing with his toys; heated blankets, pillows, and his stuffed animals; snuggling while we watch TV every night; and all his little daily routines. My Grandma Smith (maternal) passed away this weekend. She was 92 years (and 9.5ish months) old. We shared a birth month, a middle name, and a birthplace (basically; her Columbus, GA and me Ft. Benning, GA). She made the best pumpkin bread. She was tenacious and determined. She knew what was right and what was wrong. She never forgot her grandkids on their birthdays or at Christmas. She loved me and I loved her. She was my last living grandparent, which brings its own additional set of sorrow with her passing. This morning, on my way to work, Carrie Underwood’s “See You Again” came on the radio and I tested up: “I will see you again, This is not where it ends I will carry you with me, 'Til I see you again” And I know I will see her, and all my grandparents, again.
