They cooked with that design. I want to see more takes on animal people that aren't furry bait, i just don't know where to find them.

another!
Even though i feel defeated by my lack of artistic-ness, i still feel like a new world has opened up for me. Like in dark souls, i may have lost this fight but there are countless other i wish to be victorious in. so i will fight for another day

Little message i wrote, whilst trying to review Funger 2
-- i cried while writing this review (well while going over it in my head, but regardless) i was listening to a playlist a friend of mine sent me. The song that it started with despite being like 30 songs down was "and to those i love thanks for sticking around" which hit me like a truck cuz of it's lyrics. but i listened to most of the tracks before looking up at the title, and it was "The traces of heaven where we can find them" a saying i told them that came right out of my ass; but it meant so much to them that they made a banger playlist. (minus the 3 randomly energetic songs smack dab in the middle of the deep ones) yet it made me so sad that i missed what was in plain view, i looked anywhere but the message right Infront of me for answers not because I'm pathetic, but because society is. I've not had to look deep or detailed at something aside from games in like 6 years, not one document, not one assignment, not one picture. now i sit here questioning my existence because as it stands now no one gains from how they made me. there are so many messages i wish i could write to friends family and strangers, and to write the I'll have to see another dawn. Cuz i won't fade even after I'm gone, I'm an ember of the everlasting flame of existence. there's too much pain and grief running through my veins, yet i think any act is worth this pain, because i don't care. if all i moved was a rock I still find my life worthy, cuz i just want to be happy and I am. I imagine Sisyphus happy, because i want him to feel like i do. I'm Kemdari Vyke from one ember to another; don't you dare go hollow. and to those i love thanks for sticking around, I can't wait to see another dawn.

Probably going to spend all day playing Nightreign again (i already have over 80 hours you really think it woulda stopped by now?)
but you know who has two thumbs and is gonna have a great time, this guy!? I really like this game far too much in fact.so much that i might just make this my whole personality for a month or so.
i guess if anyone sees this and wants to play it's kemdari on discord add me (I play on pc)
ELDEN RING: NIGHTREIGN IS BITCHIN
Everything about this game is awesome, i mean each of the 8 characters have a story and interaction with each other in their remembrances (basically a remembrance is each characters story some of which is told in the journal and the rest you play through within the roundtable hold and small objectives added to the map in expeditions) their designs are all insanely good, i mean let me just gush about the guardian real quick.
the guardians design is something I've never seem before. he is a big intimidating bird man that plays like a tank which goes against the typical use of ranged attacks or speed whilst flying which is all I've seen before. They made him a bird man who's got a crippled wing and cares about protecting the flock, his main goal is to keep everyone safe and that goes into his gameplay and design perfectly. His armor isn't some bulky plate reminiscent of the typical paladin, it's made of small plates protecting the vital spots and extremities that are secured with leather straps, and bulkier parts of armor that are constructed in a banner i don't know how to describe. I'll link a picture, but it's like solid metal was molded into a "chain-link" structure within the frame of the armor piece, which gives him part of his big intimidating frame, whilst being very protective and light weight since he is a bird man capable of taking advantage of his flight; though only very briefly due to his crippled wing, this also hints to a culture that has something actually interesting too it. also it's seems sorta ironic to wear it due to it's apparent weakness to piercing due to the huge gaps in these "frame-work" pieces of armor, but that's why he wears plates, some on his arms, including under his humongous shoulder pads, and on his torso.
that's one mf out of eight that i can and will talk about in detail, because i find so much beauty in them because of all this effort put into them.
also the gameplay is great, because when played in co-op it's not just a souls game; you can actually fuck around with your buddies, or just fuck up and get a taste of the dirt, and keep on trucking even when you get hit in the mouth or when you rock up somewhere under leveled you all get to have each others back making the whole stronger than any individual link; which is why i love playing Guardian and Revenant so much, as Guardian you can block really well, and can do great stance damage allowing you to make up for your lack in damage dealing capabilities by letting others do their big damage by taking agro and knocking enemies off their feet. and Revenant has the skill to summon one of three teammate to take agro, deal damage, and or do crowd control to depending on the situation and who's available to summon. I love how this makes me expend them as a resource like you should be with any other characters character skill despite the fact that it acts so differently
And don't get me started on the looting, because yeah you're gonna wanna grab what's good for you, but sharing the loot especially when you get something good from the instanced boss drops (the drops from bosses are given to each player, and they get to pick one of three items or buffs) assuming there ain't something good for you, or some buff you can't pass up; especially when thinking about passive buffs from gear, because if the character balance is good then you have more passives that can be beneficial and if they're on a useful item that just makes it way better. though it isn't always applicable, when you can apply it it's great to make something good out of something bad, and strengthening the hole, which is what i find so fun, it's not me kicking the bosses ass, it's my team (flock) kicking it's ass even if I'm the strongest or the weakest link.
I Might Continue Later, till then, Don't you dare go hollow

got to add armor pictures, but hey that hardly matters what does matter is the thrill of the game, and the pain that can sometimes happen, like with raids
(which are far too uncommon for their own good; i mean I only encountered the augur raid at over 80 hours in [despite the fact that 25% of people beat it, not even just encountering it like i did])
they are far too impactful if things go wrong or right. like with Morgott, if he jumps you and you all die everyone gets to take extra damage for the rest of the run; which is also very unfair in solo, cause you can just get one tapped or chased through the storm and be incapable of fighting or healing well, leading to you getting a basically unavoidable curse. but if you win against him you get some Shitty(?) buff that ups attack power after interacting with new graces (which could be good, but like is it actually. does the increase matter all that much in affect, duration, or stackability) and 30k which is about equiviolent to a strong world boss despite the fact that he can be easier (he might not be if he invades later yet the reward isn't changed soooo(?))
and then there's the pest raid, you get attacked by bugs that steal your levels but the lead you too the pest which if you murk it (which is easy as pie) you get all that back, and then some, and then an ability that just randomly gives you a bunch of runes when you attack someone making it useful on anything but the final boss since it's to late to use them. so it ends up being basically just a big buff for you and your team that can't be ignored if you want too, with out shooting yourselves in the foot. (nobody like to shoot themselves in the foot)
then the augur raid, the one time I encountered it it spawned a big bubble i didn't touch on top of the evergoal and boss only for me to finish off the boss and meet up with my buddies, who where about to die to the storm because the augur appears in a bubble somewhere on the map and you should go fight it, but it spawned outside the safe zone halfway through the closing, making it impossible to kill in time due to the dot of the fire (also raids disappear if the fire storm gets to them [other than Margit, he just chases you high and low]) i don't even think there's a consequence for losing other than dealing with his bubble of unknown affect.
the night lord goat demon (no I'm not bothering to learn his name) cutting your max hp by 30% but if you pay him enough money he stops, and you can request to get more runes and he gives you a symbol of avarice which ups your rune gain potentially giving you more than you started with. - also only one person needs to pay him so you can just pick one person who gets the least from leveling, and then Everyone gets to get a symbol of avarice which can more than make up the cost for one person if it costs 15k and potentially if it costs 32K (the cheaper price is if he invades day one, and the expensive one is if he invades on day 2 and since day three is just the night lord it has a lesser affect the later you get it on the second day, meaning you aren't guaranteed to make up all of your runes; but you can still get some) - ALSO before i forget, paying him also gives everyone an attack buff based on runes held; whilst i don't know how strong it is, taking a short term hit for objectively better short and long term benefit makes the thing kind of unfun.
so anyway, yeah the games pretty flawed but multiplayer oft feels like either a power fantasy or fight for your goddamned life every second just hoping you can hold out a bit longer and maybe get a buddy back up. and solo now that it's been patched feels about the same but a fair bit towards the fight for your life end.

Love the StreetRat
the rat
the plague rat!!!!
as usual for my sonas I've made a black kinda eldritch substance that can take any shape or form and affect/infect other people
SO NOW I HAVE
PLAGUE
and I'm going to explain it in more detail on a ref/art of Kys himself, but in short
- plague prefers not to kill but to infect anything that has blood, changing the behaviors of the infected one in the process for its own goals, bur also giving regeneration abilities and vitality
in the flesh form the plague is the most unstable, especially given that it spreads through the infected's body, so machines are the best option
Kys, who is also a machine, brought this infection into hell, and this infected streetcleaner is one of the machines he took into his team of infected machines FOR FUN
you can't deny that streetcleaners are similar to rats

The reason ai "artists" enrage me so , is that I've seen so much "shitty" art, that's really good. art isn't about being impressive, it's about conveying notion or emotion effectively which is what is lost with ai art; so what if you can make an anime girl with huge bonkhanagahoogs, I can't fall in love with those drawings, or those characters, or the person who made them because they appear so shallow.
one of my favorite youtubers is called Rach Ratos who makes great short videos that make me so emotional to see, and it isn't because it's a beautiful art piece that shows a character with amazing color or lighting or proportions, most of the time it's sketchy black and white drawings, and i find that so impactful, so fun. you can't do that with a prompt and even if you can eventually, you yourself lose out on getting lost in the pages of your notebook, or the files on your computer, so that you can do less with your life; just like those capitalist want you to do, in this essay i will...
p.s. I don't blame anyone for being unskilled or not even picking up a trade, but when you just coast through life eating/making slop and not art it's fucking soul evaporating, and it ain't worth living if you go hollow (dark souls reference; it means becoming an empty husk)
