Leah laughed listening to Kennedy bring up her lectures, she would never admit that some of her words stuck in her head. She couldn’t help it, Kennedy was so tiny and when she turned into a rage monster it got scary. “From all of that, I don’t know if you could take a whole school Rocky,” she teased taking the joint back. “Being Michael’s cousin was already a suck storm before his death, now it just has people thinking I know things- that I really don’t.” The cops announced more police interviews and even though Leah knew she did nothing wrong, being in police presence made her nervous. “You practicing?”

                    Upon approaching Kenn could tell something was up, but hearing the other’s laugh was a major relief -- once stiff shoulder muscles relaxing as Kennedy’s smile only widened. Gaze WARM, Kennedy moved in to nudge Leah’s shoulder. “The whole school ?? Well that might take me a little while, we should start lining them all up now. Though it’ll just take one punch from me to knock them out.” Kenn quipped, arm curling around the other’s. “If it means anything, the important people know you didn’t have any part in it. Soon everyone else will realize that too.” She meant that too, sigh parting rose lips. “Attempting to get my time down. Hasn’t budged in weeks though. && something tells me that won’t help,” gaze moved to the joint, a short burst of laughter breaking from her.

                    Just when it was almost easy to PRETEND things at Du Pont were normal, everything had to turn upside down. There’d be no clues about any of the three incidents, only then to get a small burst of knowledge -- or perhaps planted knowledge, if rumors about that video were true. When in doubt it was easiest to run away. Sea eyes spotted Leah from across the track, quick to make her way overt. “Yeah, you should be. I’m glad my LECTURES have been getting to you,” Kennedy quipped, scrunching up her nose at the offer -- but taking it anyways, hiding a bit deeper within the bleachers before taking a long drag && passing it back. “A break huh ?? From what, who ?? Who’s butt do I have to kick ??”

Leah was sitting by the belches smoking a joint taking a break from the all the stares in the hallway, if someone got in her face she was ready to bite their head off. It was super annoying being on this fucking campus after video but seeing @kenncoop​ walk up and join made the day a bit more bearable. "I know- I should be in the building- but I needed a break,” she sighed. “You want a hit?”

“at least i passed.” fallon told her, trying to manage a smile. “thank you for coming, honestly. it’s good to see your face.” she nodded her head as she watched her friend place the bags she brought on the counter. “do you have any ice cream in those magic bags of yours?” she asked before nodding again, “i think a movie would be great too. a good mix of everything is exactly what i need right now.”

                    “You’re the legendary Fallon, of course you passed,” she lightly mused, soft hand reaching to squeeze the other’s arm comfortingly. “Oh, well feel free to take it all in, you’ll be looking at this face all night.” Kennedy attempted to tease, to lighten her mood. A roll of her eyes, she searched through the bags, pulling out a pint of the other’s favorite ice cream. “Please. If I didn’t bring it over I’d have kicked my own butt outta here. But good; then that’s exactly what we’re doing.”
