Me Time
Hi, it's Kenvi! In my previous blog, I shared moments of joy spent with my family and boyfriend, but today, I want to delve into a different chapter of my life—the cherished "me time" that has become an integral part of my journey. Since turning 18, the allure of going out alone has grown on me, offering a unique blend of peace, solace, and self-reflection.
Amidst the hustle of life, these moments of solitude gift me unparalleled tranquility, enabling a focused introspection into my thoughts and emotions. "Me time" isn't just about recharging; it's an intentional investment in my well-being, allowing me to refocus on personal interests and develop a deeper understanding of who I am. As I navigate the world alone, I continually find beauty in confronting fears, celebrating strengths, and appreciating the richness of my own company. This ongoing journey of self-discovery through solo adventures isn't an escape; it's a deliberate choice to nurture the relationship I have with myself, fostering personal growth and a profound sense of fulfillment.

Soulful Sunset Lomi
Hey, ka-food lovers! It's Kenvi, and I'm about to share the heartwarming tale of our recent foodie escapade to the legendary Liam's Lomi House in Lipa City, Batangas. The spot is a two-time reigning champ at the Lipa Lomi Festival, had been calling our names, promising a bowl of Lomi that's nothing short of a hug for the soul.
Imagine this: a steaming bowl brimming with tender pork, succulent liver, fish balls, and kikiam – a comforting embrace in every spoonful, together with our all-time favorite milk tea, flavored with chocolate. The savory aroma alone was like a warm welcome, and each bite felt like a chat with an old friend. Liam's Lomi House, with its festival-winning reputation, truly feels like a friend who knows the secret to warming your heart through your taste buds.
Yet, our adventure wasn't just about the food; it was also about the journey. Picture a scenic road trip back home, bathed in the magical hues of a Lipa sunset. The sun's gentle farewell, casting warm tones across the landscape, felt like a friend saying, "See you soon." It was a journey that seamlessly blended the joy of savory Lomi with the comforting beauty of a Batangas sunset, creating memories that felt like sharing laughter with dear friends. Liam's Lomi House not only conquered our taste buds but also became that friendly corner where good food and magical sunsets dance together. Joy Unleashed at Moa
Hey there! Kenvi here, sharing the joy of my inaugural adventure at the colossal Mall of Asia (MOA), a leap from my hometown haven in Batangas City to the dazzling wonders of one of the Philippines' largest malls.
Growing up surrounded by the familiar streets of Batangas City, stepping into MOA felt like unlocking a new realm of possibilities. The thrill of experiencing my first rides brought laughter and nervous excitement, turning a seemingly ordinary day into one of the best in my memory. And as a girl who loves nighttime, because there are fewer distractions, everything is silent, more peaceful, and enjoyable. While some might find it odd to cherish a day at the mall, for me, it was a chance to heal my inner child. No school field trips in my younger years meant that this outing, in my 20s, was a long-awaited escapade into the world, hand in hand with a special someone. With its vibrant lights and boundless offerings, MOA became a symbol of newfound freedom and the joy of embracing every moment. Cheers to MOA – my unexpected haven of wonder and laughter.

A Late-Night Drive
One ordinary night, my boyfriend's family and I decided to embrace the quiet charm of Quezon City, their hometown, with a spontaneous late-night road trip. It was simplicity at its finest, just us, the open road, and the familiar tunes of our favorite songs playing in the background. The city, usually bustling with activity, wore a different face in the stillness of the night, and we found joy in the uncomplicated beauty of the moment.
As we cruised through the quiet streets, the nostalgic melodies became the soundtrack to our simple adventure. Each turn brought a new perspective of the city we thought we knew so well. We weren't chasing grand views or extravagant experiences; instead, we discovered the magic in the ordinary, appreciating the soft glow of streetlights and the hushed whispers of the night.
Our journey led us to a familiar golden destination—McDonald's. The allure of their late-night menu was irresistible, and we made a pitstop to savor our favorite treats. Seated in the car, enjoying our meals together, we realized that happiness often resides in the small, shared moments. This late-night drive through Quezon City became a canvas of simplicity, laughter, and the comforting taste of familiar flavors, creating memories that would linger long after the night faded away.

City Lights Pursuit Hola! It's Kenvi again! Have you ever found yourself captivated by the allure of city lights and the fast-paced rhythm of urban life? Sometimes, I wonder what it feels like to live in Manila, the Philippines' capital city. I am from the Batangas province and sometimes visit Manila for various reasons. Every time I find myself in the bustling streets of Manila, I can't help but feel a magnetic pull toward this vibrant city. It's not just because of that special person who resides there, but because my heart yearns for the energy and opportunities Manila offers.
Imagine standing on the balcony of one of those towering buildings, overlooking the city lights and the different kinds of cars bustling below. At that moment, you will suddenly think that every person inside that car has their own unique life story. It's a profound realization that adds depth to the enchantment of Manila. The city lights that illuminate the night sky create a magical ambiance that captivates my imagination.
Soon, I see myself there, surrounded by the city's vibrant energy, making Manila my home too. In Manila's vibrant urban embrace, I envision my future self free from worry, guided by city lights toward opportunities and contentment. Soon, beneath Manila's glow, I'll find the peace I've sought.
