Hey 😊 so I’m back with another prompt, Angst #50 Alex/Reggie but maybe with a Hapoy End if possible? Thank you 😊😊

“I’m sorry I’m not enough for you.” Reggie pulled his legs to his chest and wrapped his arms around them.

“What are you talking about?” Alex sat down next to him, but carefully didn’t touch him. 

“Ever since you met Willie you can’t stop talking about him. And I get it. He’s perfect.”

“Do you know what I do the whole time I’m with Willie? I talk about you. I’m sure he’s regretting telling me to follow him so I could ask him more questions.”

Reggie turned his head so he could look at Alex. His eyes were shiny with tears and red rimmed. “Really?”

“Reggie. I’m sorry if I made you feel neglected. Willie is great, but he’s not you. We’re just hanging out and having fun. But I love you, and only you.” Now Alex put his arm around Reggie’s shoulders and pulled him in close. Reggie flailed as he was pulled off balance, and dropped his feet to the floor so he could snuggle into Alex’s embrace. 

“I love you too. Please don’t leave me for Willie’s perfect hair and cheekbones.”

“Well, I can’t promise I won’t look, but I’m definitely not leaving you.” 

Reggie laughed wetly and clung to Alex’s hoodie. 

“Looking is fine. I definitely can’t blame you for that.”

“Thank goodness,” Alex sighed. Reggie giggled and lifted his head to kiss Alex softly. Alex curved his hand around Reggie’s jaw and kissed him back carefully, trying to show him exactly how he felt.

recently learned about a horticultural technique called Espalier, it’s the funniest goddamn thing i’ve ever seen.

Espalier allows trees to be trained into 2-dimensions, by tying the branches to a flat surface as the tree grows. They literally flatten the tree. They make the tree flat. Flat tree!!!

Look at this. This is objectively hilarious:

And people get fancy about it. Look at this nonsense:

Espalier is actually a very useful technique for

increasing fruit yield

gardening is small spaces

maximizing or minimizing sunlight (since the branches all face the same direction) and therefore extending the growing season

Like. this is a legitimately practical gardening method. but it looks like they squished a tree between the pages of a book. just squashed it flat like a sad little dried flower! i could use these trees as a bookmark!!!

But yes, it is also a healthy and clever way to grow lots of fruit in small spaces, in climates they might not otherwise be suited for. I’m still going to make fun of it, but it honestly looks delightful and delicious.

post s3. steve catching billy massaging his own hands or rubbing them against something and. he offers to help. grabs some almond oil and starts kneading billy’s hands, asks him if it hurts. billy shakes his head, a little too breathless to reply with words. and steve starts helping all the time.

sometimes he’d just sit down next to him and rub his hands while watching tv. other times he notices the way billy’s gripping his fingers or trying to stop them from shaking and he’d very very gently take them and work his thumbs against his palms. ask him if he’s okay. warms his hands between both of his if they’re cold.

billy nearly cries with how tender steve can be.

and and and steve’s attention is always on billy’s hands, billy’s attention always on him. just watching him. “are you feeling any-” there’s a small pause when steve looks up and finds billy watching him, gazes locking for a split second before steve looks back down, cheeks gaining a little colour. he mumbles, “you feeling any better?”

“much,” billy mumbles back.

there are times when billy gets, really caught up in his head. gets self conscious and miserable and doesn’t even feel like leaving bed. they’re times where he feels too weak. not vulnerable. weak. emasculated. times like now, when he’s looking in the mirror after a much-needed shower and all he can see is an ugly scar in the middle of his chest, webbed and pale and dead. 

he ends up breaking the mirror with his fist.

he doesn’t remember how he winds up sitting on his bed with steve on his knees, muttering to himself and bandaging his hand. he doesn’t mean to act on his thoughts for fucking once and turn his hand in steve’s, brush his fingertips over his wrist where his pulse’s thumping. 

steve looks up at him, so pretty and open and heartachingly kind. he lifts billy’s hand to his mouth and kisses the his bandaged knuckles like, “things get bad, you talk to me, deal?”

and billy nods, turns his hand again, holds steve’s face. says, breathes, “jus’ really wanna kiss you, steve.”

it draws a huffed laugh out of steve, tints his cheeks red. “i won’t stop you.”

QUARANTINE AU ft. senior!billy, mrs harrington as his teacher, and steve popping in every few zoom sessions like, “morning, mom” and “going out, see you later, mom,” kisses her cheek and looks at the camera. WINKS. and she’s telling him to stop distracting her students but billy’s already, like, DEAD. mrs h says, “sorry, my son’s just,” *sighs* “he always needs to be the center of attention.”

fuckboy steve!!!!

swaggering around shirtless and purposely passing behind his mum. disrupting class bc everyone suddenly has a crush on him. on the one hand, mrs harrington is pissed off, but on the other hand, all her students are ALWAYS on time, never miss a SINGLE session bc they don’t wanna miss out on their teacher’s hot son. 

and billy’s not big on tech, alright? and he doesn’t need those classes. he’s smart. he’ll just watch the recordings before tests. it’s a coincidence that he was bored and decided to tune in. he doesn’t even own a laptop, uses max’s with all the kpop stickers on the lid. but will he make himself look presentable half an hour before class? abso-fucking-lutely.

at some point steve kisses mrs. h’s cheek so-call goodbye, lifts his head, says, “hey, eighties,” bc yes, billy still wears that mullet, sue him, ok? “hit me u–” “out of the frame, go go go,” mrs h glares at him. has him stepping back, hands lifted at his sides like “chill, mom, just being friendly”. he’s out of the frame for ten seconds before his hand’s there, doing the ‘call me 🤙🏻’ gesture and billy’s trying to hold back a laugh, but also, fuck.

@cherrydreamer added steve sneaking down during one of billy’s one on one sessions with his mum and holding up a piece of paper with his number on it behind mrs h’s head. which, he would. chef’s kiss.
