I saw that on your latest MC drawing post. 😊 Thank you so much for drawing Vivian, it helps me understand how I want to write her character in my spin-off fanfic of HL. (I just could not imagine me drawing her bc I wouldn't even dare to mess it up). I'm just stuck on her Patronus in my head. She has attributes to that of Ravenclaw, but her mind is also set on her brave and friendly personality. Do you have any tips, also, what is Lyla's Patronus?

I remember being stuck trying to figure out what Lyla’s Patronus would be, so I just took the online quiz and answered it how I thought she would lol. The result turned out to be an otter, and I fell in love with that headcanon 😭💕🦦

I grew up watching Studio Ghibli and Avatar the Last Airbender, so I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with those art styles. I wish I still had my old sketchbook so I could show you all the fanart I drew 🫣

It's funny because I actually based a lot of Lyla's personality off of Aang LOL. I love a traumatized protagonist that carries a heavy burden all while remaining kind and goofy 💛😂

Honestly, Lyla embarrassing herself somehow makes me convinced that is how she and Sebastian met in the first place.

P.S. I remember a post saying how much she would struggle getting into the Ravenclaw dorm. My OC Vivian claims she wouldn't even have gotten it on the first day 🤣😂

Poor Vivian!! She and Lyla would be waiting outside of the common room for hours 😭😭

hello! I’ve just found your comics and they are exactly what I needed! I just got back into liking the game and with my new mc I get to get to know everyone all over again (looking forward to Sebastian and ominous!) I hope you do another draw your mc thing! I’ll have to take some pics of my mcs and post 🤞🏻 I love Lyla and I think I’d want to be friends with her in real life but since that’s not possible 😅 maybe our mcs would be. I've actually been wanting to replay the game too, but I'm trying to hold off until summer (likely won't make it LOL)

The Parts 6-10 for the MC art challenge have already been filled unfortunately, however I'm still considering whether or not to do Parts 11-?? 👀 I'll have to take another break in between because of work/school/family stuff, but I'll post again if I'm taking more requests!

I am absolutely delighted with your comic! Oooh but now I'm curious and want to know more about Lyla's parents 😭❤️ How did they meet, where did they come from, how was their first meeting, love at first sight or something worked out? I read that Mr. Estaris didn't know how to speak the language well, did that influence anything?

AWW thank you so much! 😭 Sorry it took me a while to answer this because I was wondering about their backstory myself LOL. I know they met in their early 20s, but I'm still trying to figure out HOW they met 🤔

Right now, I have it in my head that Luis moved from the Philippines to London to start a new life, but unfortunately he didn't speak English very well. So he struggled to find work and meet new people for a while with what little English he knew 🥺

As for Ava, I'm thinking she grew up in a very strict household with her father in London. Once she began to excel in fencing and schooling, it was nonstop lessons every day. She was suffocating under the weight of her father's expectations 😣

Maybe they met while Ava was out on an errand and noticed Luis getting bullied by some locals? She comes to his aid, and it was IMMEDIATELY love at first sight for Luis LOL. After witnessing this beautiful woman tearing his bullies a new one, he was SOLD HAHAHA 🤣

I like to imagine that their first conversation was really awkward with the language barrier 😭😂 So Ava decides to teach him how to read and speak English, (initially out of pity) but they eventually became close friends! She was so drawn to his silly and kind nature, which was difficult to come by considering her upbringing. The thing she admired most about Luis was his ability to make the most out of every situation. Needless to say, she fell in love too 🤭💕 Of course Ava's father didn't approve, but they eloped anyways! A couple years later, they had Lyla 🥰💛

One of the things they had in common was their love for reading, so now they run a bookshop together (which is something I wish I figured out sooner so I could've included it in the Spring Break series 😭) They definitely would've let Sebastian take home a few Muggle books to read!
