for a while, whenever my mom would put on a tv show or movie, it would always be in a different language. I started a bit where every time this happened, I would say "It's in Portuguese again", despite the fact that it was never actually in Portugese, and everyone would just believe me.

its been a while since I've done this but I was thinking about it because last night I had a dream that I found out I had 3 long lost sisters, and I flew out to go meet them. 2 of them didn't speak English, so I asked the oldest what language they spoke, and she said that they all spoke Portuguese.

when I woke up, I sat there for a moment before realizing that they were, in fact, not speaking Portuguese at all.
