Drama Dairy: Survivor S02E03

First things first: I'm writing these as I watch the episodes. I will probably contradict myself more than once, or change waffle my opinion from beginning to end.

Oh, Mike. Sure, bud. Go pig-hunting. Am I skeptical purely because I think this software engineer that said something in ep1 to the tune of because he hunts (presumably in the US in designated times of year) and camps (again, presumably in the US), he has some sort of advantage in the competition. But if he pulls one in, he and Kimmi are forever enemies.

Keith being like, "Oh, now they're calling me chef. Never heard chef before," and like ... smarmy about it. "I came here as a chef to make incredible meals on the island." WTF, bro? Ingredients aren't guaranteed ever. But at least the fish was good.

I reckon Rodger is a daughter of girls and that's why he and Elisabeth hit it off.

I'm less convinced Jeff is "my kid" guy now that it's a new day and I'm not elevated.

Nick is used to a standard of living not conducive to living in this camp. The focus on comfort is admirable but if you've got time to space out on a bench while people five feet away are asking you for help ... go home.

In S1, I very early on decided I liked some players and Tagi tended to root for Tagi for whatever reason. (BB, Gervase, Joel. Those were the reasons.) I have no preferences yet this season. Somehow, I don't feel like either has more advantages than the other.

Do I agree with Keith about Mitchell? I think I do. Singer/Songwriter is a downer and I haven't seen much contribution from him besides negativity.

I think Marilyn is getting sent home, but I'm low-key crossing my fingers for Mitchell to get booted. Let him be the victim of the game he thought he played well. Why? I dunno. I can't deal with the negativity for the rest of the season. At least Mad Dog has got some cheer in her.

(Marilyn is voted out, as expected. Lol, at Mitchell coming in for a hug as Marilynn hugged Amber and getting ignored.)

Drama Dairy: Survivor S02E01-02

Okay, crap, ep 2 just started, so here's my quick takeaways of ep 1.

Have I seen this season before?

Maybe.

I remember a guy that kept kept referring to his 'kid' and it pissed me off and it feels like Jeff might be that guy. Also remember him having a weird thing about a cell phone. None of these things have been mentioned in any form yet at all. Just a vibe I get from him already.

We'll never have a season like S1 again. It was impossible as soon as the show premiered. Everybody is playing the game immediately. Everybody is immediately unlikeable.

Wait. Rodger is a nice guy. After S1, I sprained a tendon in an eye rolling them when another bible made and appearance. BUT, his foresight and willingness to use it for kindling gave him points.

But he's also playing the game.

Maybe he's taking what Sue said in S1 about rednecks to heart. Let them think negatively of them because of it, and then play their game better.

Debb went out like she came in -- frustrating as hell, unwilling to consider there's being useful and then there's being completely un-self-aware with an inability to read the room and just an all-around poor player. Game was on display and the writing was on the wall immediately. Buh-bye.

In my previous life, when I was a much bigger asshole than I am today, I watched a reality firearms competition show, Top Shot. Colby Donaldson hosted it, years after this. I remember someone asking me, "Ever notice that he smiles with all of his teeth?"

He does. He really fuckin does.

Keith and Michael need to gtfo by end of ep4 or I'll... be patient or something.

Kel definitely ate beef jerky.

Fuck, Maralyn is probably going out before them probably. Her and Kel's interactions give me the ick. It's nothing. But it's gives me ick anyway.

The Kimmi's A Vegetarian And It's Going To Send Her Home bit only reinforces my thoughts about that she's annoying and needs to go home soon.

Jerri will be a problem and probably go out mid-season, maybe first one after the merger.

Elisabeth rubbed me real wrong ep1, but I feel like I haven't even seen her---oh wait. There she is with those dumb bandanas, eating an apple. Blech.

Honestly, I legit feels bad that Kimmi got the cow brain. Out of all the other stuff she could have gotten, that was the definite one.

DO I BELIEVE THE PRODUCERS HAD THE TABLE RIGGED WITH A REMOTE AND STOPPED IT THERE ON PURPOSE FOR VIEWS????!??!!!

It's not out of the question. But no.

Jeff's fake retching to try to make ... that one woman (wtf's here name?!) gag is so low. Fuck that g-ajd k;ajd

Wait.

I know who Jeff reminds me off!!!!

That guy who tried a lot of things and talked about "[his] wife!" all the time except for when he was with his mistressemployee, probably.

And if Jeff is "my kid" guy, it would make so much sense to my brain.

Starbuck needs to go pee on the tribal council in the backyard.

Stranger Things’ David Harbour Originally Wanted the Role of Eleven

Everyday is an adventure. Today, John and I went in a walk before he got ready for work and there was a cute pup in the road. We thought it was a neighbor's small dog that is always directing traffic, but as we approached, we realized it was a different dog, malnourished, eaten up with fleas and ticks, and bearing marks of a tussle. She is timid, but let us pick her up. We went to our local @petsupermarket to get some flea and tick wash and a flea comb. They offer free puppy baths, so we scrubbed her and combed out as many of the fleas as we could get before we needed to get back so John could get to work. She has been nicknamed Starbuck and is now resting peacefully in a crate in our downstairs bathroom.
