Nonhumans are here, even if you do not see us. We always will be. We are often hard to spot, but can be found doing all the things a human might.
A cat went to work at an event stall for a mental health service.
A massive sea serpent wanted to go to science class because it enjoyed it more than the rest of those living in its shared form.
The void sat down, huddled up in a blanket, to watch a tv show with its partners. It had to stop watching after a bit, but enjoyed spending time with those close to it anyway.
A wolf went to a psychologist appointment and gratefully drank the hot chocolate they were offered in the waiting room.
A shapeshifting being of pure darkness spoke publicly about trans rights in front of politicians and then went to the pride festival he helped fight to keep alive.
A dragon went to school so the others sharing his human body could have a break.
A manifestation of the fear of madness itself sat in the food court at the mall eating mochi and drinking tea while waiting for its friends to get back from shopping.
A witch drew a picture of his cardinal bird and shared the work he was so proud of with his friends.
A cockatoo borrowed the next book in his favourite series from the school library and almost couldn't wait the whole day to go home and read it.
An alien went camping and watched the birds outside and the way the wind made waves and patterns on the water.
A fallen angel went shopping for sunglasses to shield his eyes from how bright the sun was.
A harpy went shopping for new plants to look after. He named a few because he loved them so much, and sent pictures to all of his friends.
An anthropomorphic hedgehog traded Pokemon cards with his peers at school. He was happy with his collection.
You may not see us, and you may feel alone, but you are not. We are just hidden. We are in more places than you'd think, and in the places you'd least expect. We are complex, we are valued, and we are here.

When Kaikaina transitioned, she picked a name that meant "sibling of the same gender" because she always wanted to be connected to her big sister.
The day she finally had her name changed, finally finished with all that paperwork and the court visits, while she was excitedly rambling to her sister about it...
Grif came out as a guy.
Kai nearly killed him.

OFFHUMAN ; a term for when you feel wrong and/or not quite "right" in humanity. as if you were just a thing walking among everyone else and not being able to fit in despite how much you try.
note: can be used as a gender or as a general alterhuman term.
[start ID: two images are attached. the one on the left shows a rectangular flag with 7 horizontal stripes. all the stripes being of even thickness aside from the middle stripe which is twice as thick compared to the rest. from top to bottom, the stripe colours are brown, swamp green, dull green, light grey, dull green, swamp green, and brown. in the center of the flag, there is a simplified silhouette of a person from the bust up that is dark brown in colour. the silhouette has a hazy or slightly blurry effect to it. the image on the right has a flag identical to the first one, but without the silhouette in the center. end ID.]

Ways to bond as a system!
Make yourself + members of your system in The Sims 4
Build houses/apartments for yourselves, make your Sims be friends, try out fun outfits, etc. We always find it funny when the Sims of members who have never really interacted much irl become friends.
Start a system journal and work on it together
One for logging information/leaving notes for each other/communication, or one for fun info pages, etc.! We have two, one for organized information, and one for fun info pages.
Create a Discord server just for your system
Individual members can have their own channels, there can be groupchats, channels for logging fronting triggers/switches/system info, art channels, and more! Great for leaving notes for other members of the system, too.
Download one of those fake social media/texting apps
Personally we really like TwiNote, which lets you create and post from individual fake Twitter profiles, and have a little Twitter feed of just members from your system! Twitter, but just on your phone, and just from people in your brain.
Draw something together/do a page of drawings together
Get each person to draw the same thing in their own style, or add their own little doodle to a page! Or work on a larger piece together, and each add a little thing to it! There's a lot of options here, and it's fun to create art together. (We once drew a "system quilt" with a square for each of our main fronters at the time, with designs each member liked for their square)
Make fun PluralKit/SimplyPlural descriptions
Put fun emojis and symbols in them, and maybe even design them for other members of your system! It's fun, and it can be helpful for communication to write down stuff about your system.
Create a Minecraft world together
We have one where we each have our own house (or apartment, since we added an apartment building), and it's like a little shared town! Sometimes we leave gifts in eachothers' houses, and we each have our own armour and stuff, like we're individual players on a big server. Ours is in creative mode because we're more of a builder than anything, but survival (or even hardcore) could be fun too.
Make a big spreadsheet/document/slideshow about things each member likes
We have a big google document where people can add their own section and put things they like in it, like art, poetry, recipes, article links, etc., which is fun and also a good way to not lose links to stuff we enjoy! It can also be a good way to find things that trigger certain members to front/cheer them up, when necessary.
Etcetera!
Feel free to add to this post with your own ideas for how to bond as a system, ways you've bonded with your own system, etc.! We probably didn't think of every single thing possible.
⚠️ This post is inclusive of all system origins. ⚠️

systems, multiples, plurals, etc. - you're allowed to just experience yourselves. you don't need other people to agree whatever you're experiencing is real - it's real just by you experiencing it. you can trust yourself. it's okay, i promise <3

We’ve only gotten confused or surprised when looking up our partner system’s alters from sources we’re unfamiliar with. As someone myself who deviates heavily from source (Michael Afton, trans woman she/rot) I’ve only seen myself and others in our system pull the “what do you mean they don’t” card as a joke.
having fictives while also being hyperfixated on/having a special interest on their source is so funny bc like. bro wdym sam from sam & max isnt bigender and uses he/she pronouns???? 🤨 like bro she told me himself

now tbh i don’t have any guesses how we formed but it became apparent about the time that i (host, hi :)) got into the show red vs blue which has a form of plural representation in the character church, so that might’ve just kind of made things “click”? i’m not sure it directly caused the plurality looking back on it, but it felt like it when it happened lmao
I genuinely want to hear endogenic systems' explain how their system was formed in a more structural way that makes sense. Like, a good and full explanation and personal theory on how their system formed, without trauma being a basis.
So, uh... Anyone?
#i do kinda remember our first full switch tho#so op if you (or anyone) are curious i’ll share#sys tag#j
