As promised this is the last one for the @frillsand challenge again as mentioned before I'm mostly using it as an excuse to draw old ocs because IT'S BEEN SO LONG MAN 😭 I might in my own time redraw classic Finley 🤔

I had fun drawing these goobers together LIKE FINELY MY BOI MY BABY BOI I- 😭💕✨🥺 honestly it physically pains me knowing in the au my child is in someone looked at this boi and attacked him

This is exactly why Philip doesn't even argue with Wally's point about humans he seen the nasty side of his own kind as well and even he is like

"wh- no man I AGREE with you we're fucking horrible- like-" bro then casually holds Finley like he's Simba"LOOK AT HIM- WHAT DO YOU MEAN PEOPLE LOOK AT THIS FACE AND HARM HIM LIKE-" and Finley lil bro got 0 clue what his father/older bro figure be yapping about XD

Another one is that when Philip looks through the recordings (because I feel like he kinda has a perfectionist issue when it comes to filming he trys his best to keep quiet about his perfectionism to not stunt more of the production of the show,I feel like he even goes as far to show Wally and his friends the recordings to get there opinions on it) he lets Finley sit down on his lap and watch it with him most of the time Finley feels so safe that he falls asleep so he doesn't really see the full recordings until it's fleshed out more it's honestly an adorable sight really.

I like to think when alone the two likes to sing alot of mr. Rogers songs there favorite being won't you be my neighbor they don't realize that people secretly watch them sing together because when they sing it's the definition of a father and son spending time together and it shows in there voices as well Finley's giggles always filled a room although most folks get jumpscared by even hearing Philip singing because people didn't actually think he can talk- even when Philip ask people basic questions there like "AYO YOU CAN TALK??" Philip keeps forgetting that he actually doesn't talk much to people so when he dose people get jumpscared because they actually never heard his voice before he's unsure if he should be annoyed or amused by that fact-

I imagine that in work Philip and Finley are quite two peas in a pod whenever one gose the other follows like a mama and baby duck even when Finley finally has his own dressing room he always wants Philip to be there because he makes him feel less scared and safe Philip dreads the day when the time comes to take him he doesn't know what will or what would become of Finley if something were to happen to him he's normally quiet about his fears although working together with his son/lil brother figure that thought started to bubble up more he should use this opportunity as a way to spend more time with Finley and he dose although he's unsure if that would be enough for time itself.

Finley as mentioned before is genuinely a sweet kid so even if there was any human workers that are mean to him he somehow handled it will such grace and elegancy or at least that's what others say about him Truth is kid is way to sweet and trusting- most of the time Philip has to be the one to be angry for him due to how grown ass humans treat Finley, normally Philip would plumbel someone if they hurt/insult his boy although Finley would normally prevent that- Finley still doesn't understand why Philip feels the need to be angry for him yet at the same time he's still young persay to know the full situation at hand but neither none or less Finley still cares for Philip all the same.

How Philip and Finley interact with the cast is quite an interesting one

Finley is very open and social with his fellow coworkers and actors very happy to meet them yet at the same time shy sense he watches there show so to be part of it feels surreal to him he always get so happy yet shy talking to Wally the most so normally he grabs Philip to help give him the confidence,he ADORES everyone and everything always bringing light to a room and accidentally giving poppy mini heart attacks because this child is VERY HYPER and sometimes get himself in quite dangerous predicaments basically-

Sometimes I feel like due to how mean some humans can be they definitely hook Finley up in high places because they find it amusing how chill he is about it-

Another thing is Finley is notorious for his horrible sleeping spots,most of the time it's floors sense he's so used to sleeping on floors everyone and I mean EVERYONE including Philip most of the time became victim to Finley's unintentional trip trap this is actually the main reason why Philip keeps Finley with him when he rewatches the video recordings so no one else have to become victims to that again-

Finley loves to draw alot so when everyone is on brake and likes to spend his time watching Philip reviewing his recordings,I feel like Finley gets the papers and colored pencils from the prop/art department finely is actually really careful when using there supplies but the kid trys to get the more faulty art supplies so he doesn't have to use the ones there actually using he's very respectful about other people's property and is very well mannered he loves making gifts for everyones even tords anyone who's mean to him.

Now with Philip he's actually very comfortable talking with the actors very chatty the most with em

and with Wally he's on more of a 50/50 he doesn't argue about Wally's opinions about humans and he doesn't even bother wanting to change that although ironically I feel like not bothering somehow worked- Philip is pretty straightforward about things but also very kind dispite his grumpy exterear so even though Wally is in a bad mood Philip can't help but wounder why, when time allows it he would try to strike up a convo what gotten Wally so pissed this time

And somehow convinced Wally to give him the failed coffee orders- two reasons is that one he actually doesn't like food waste as said before on Philip's Post so Philip managed to convince Wally to just hand it to him honestly Philip actually finds it pretty amusing how people keep getting caffeine and decaf mixed up because how is that even possible? Is the workplace really that loud? His mind has been subconsciously been blocking noises due to his own thoughts or having to focus on Finley most of the time or he's extremely hyper focused so he doesn't even know fully on how noisy it can be at times and second reason he needs caffeine- that's it bro just really wanted the caffeine but couldn't afford it- sure he spends money on food and stuff but he doesn't really spend any treats for himself that mostly gose to Finley.

Honestly it's genuinely been so long since I drawn my son like look at him he's so head empty not a thought between those eyes

So some lore for actor Finley is that honestly I think he's one of those puppets who's just made to be a kid? Because Philip knew Finley sense he was a kid himself

Both Philip and Finley ran away from home from a horrible home life after awhile Finley found Philip and show him the grounds in a positive light the kid was the light to Philip's life a symbol of childhood that followed Philip wherever he goes

As Philip luckily saved up enough money to get to a collage dorm Finley wanted to play a part into helping his father/older brother figure out with money so when he heard there favorite show that they watch together (even now) when Philip was a kid were highering new actors Finley taken this as an opportunity to sign himself up and to help Philip even though Philip didn't like the idea because he wanted Finley to have a normal life Finley was being extremely persistent about it and somehow Finley managed to get Phillip as the camera man sure Philip DOSE have the diploma from his college but due to the college he went to Wich was known to be quite a shitty one it taken alot of convincing to get Philip to be the camera man because of the bad rep.

More information about Finley is that he has been victim to countless violence and harassment to puppet racism although due to his heart he didn't understand that this hatefulness was specific and targeted, Finley is very sweet and playful just a genuine and humble kid to be around,he can be reckless and impulsive classic hyper child energy he's also born with bright colored eyes Wich from my understanding is quite rare eye color for puppets to have,he is also autistic (same with Philip but I forgot to mention that 😅)

And the world goes round seeing the last post I sent on my Tumblr is my old refs of my actor au ocs am I using this competition that @frillsand dropped as an excuse to redraw some welcome home ocs? Mabey, mabey, new hyper fixations caught me on chokehold but welcome home do bring me joy especially with this au

Even though his lore has a lil buddy with him I wanna try to make the extra information not to long so I'm gonna post 3 things I drew for each day just so its not spamming and to update his old information.

So updated lore Philip used to be homeless sense he was a kid although he trys to make it not obvious for his coworkers, his behaviors make it pretty clear that he was homeless, he's very unkept, extremely resourceful,hates food waste and would eat food even if it's not really good because he was forced to eat bad food as a child to survive, he didn't survive alone but that would be for Finley's post,

Philip saved up enough money to go to a mediocre college mainly for dorms so he and his brother/son figure doesn't have to be on the streets again his passion is cameras and always wanted to learn more about them and film making with them.

Thanks to Finley he managed to get a job as the camera man most people find him gross or creepy due to his suken tired eyes, grumpy face and extremely long and thin exterear,he rarely talks to people but he is very talkative to people he's comfortable around with, Philip suffers from imposter syndrome, dispite being extremely good at getting the shots the show needed he feels like he either could do better or it was out of mear luck he feels painstakingly out of place with his fellow coworkers and is actually shy/scared to even interact with them enless it's completely nessisary.

@frillsand 's actor au has been one of my main favorites because the au let's me toach apon a character who didn't got a chance of any full development in my own au not only that how I grew attached to my two ocs Philip and Finley being a brothers/father-son duo

Both would get extremely offended when someone said there not related because to them they are

There roles is that Philip is the new camera man however the company got sloppy and threw in someone who had 0 clue about something as advanced as that so he somehow convinced them to give him time and practice with it and adventualy once he finally got behind the wheel and is finally a pro at it due to him being a fast learner but also with some convincing ask if he can bring the camera with him to practice more and filming on his own terms help him become a better camera man to the point he even practicing using roller skates when filming Wich that too taken awhile

Finley is a fresh new actor who's a first time doing the acting business,as much as Phillip doesn't agree with it because he believes kids should be kids but due to the situation the two are in they had too sucum to it but it doesn't stop Philip homeschooling Finley Wich made the kid alot more smarter for his age because of it,Philip would take Finley to school but from his own personal experience and hearing about guns, extream bullying and puppet racism he thinks for Finley's mental health's sake, Finley is very unaware about how people treat his kind even though he was a victim by them Philip always had to portect him even sense he was a kid as a headcannon that puppets age alot more different then humans as puppets age alot more slower

I really loved @aerkame 's finfolk au so I made a lil drawing if my lad Finley was in it I gotta hand it to em there the only au that got me stumped on the character design for my lad I might actually change that the scales to make it fully there arms,hands and feet but I be to lazy too T-T

Why I made my lad an axolotl is because of two things,I relistend to my favorite underated singer Cosmo Sheldrake on the song axolotl and two is that I haven't seen or at least not yet seen any stories about axolotl people or something BECAUSE GOD DAM THESE ADORABLE LIL CRITTERS DESERVE SOMETHING MAGICAL

So I decided to make it a lil thing, so axolotl people are just genuinely to nice for there own good to the point it leads to there demise Wich is the main reason why axolotl people is slowly going extinct, they are foreign species that originated from Mexico and are located in lakes original axolotl people have inherited Mexican culture not only within there outfits but what they eat and speek,this makes Finley the odd one out of his own kind, some say he could be a possible mix of a axolotl with another sea folk Wich is a possibility however uncommon due to axolotl people going extinct, another info is that they love to travel and experience new things in life however can be stubborn making it impossible for Anyone trying to talk sense to them,alot of people and different creatures take advantage of there kindness Wich is the main reason why axolotls become extinct more then it is there own kindness however there kindness are always held close to some people's hearts as they are the best emotional support you can ever ask for and is also very wise and filled with wisdom.

Abilities original axolotl people have

Is that they do glow in the dark but they can control that so they won't be seen by potential threats even though they're friendly creatures that feature is embroidered in their genetics,there forms are of huge axolotls that are the size of a dragon however it's mostly for sea activities they are feared because in there actual forms they are unaware of there own strength axadently crushing ships when they play it always made them feel guilty so that's why they take on a similar human approach so they can be more of a friendly hight to play with people,they have abilities to do light magic and can switch spiches to a salamander/salamander people however that is only necessary for a dier event, axolotl people are mostly known for there light magic mostly for there light orbs

Now with Finley he's a strange fellow he doesn't have any magic powers and his glowing is not controlled and can be easily spotted, however what he and original axolotl people have in common are there sweet hearted Open armed creatures and how kid axolotl people are just so darn wholesome and naive just a sunball of joy

Full body of my ver of Wally right on mother's day too sense his work outfit is a mini copy of ammon's work outfit QwQ

During his time after being found by the anonymous my oc Ammon helped him through so much hardships he was dealing with and also learned to be more brave Because of my oc Finley in his terms now he's like a mother/father/brother/sisterly figure tords people even though Ammon taught him coping mechanisms just like Ammon he doesn't exactly views himself on deserving on help so he gives help to others so they don't feel how he felt

Main reason why he has an identical sleeveless trench coat (or whatever name it has because I'm for sure that's a thing right???) Is because when he had a mental brake down he went to his shmal hight and Ammon tucked him under her trench coat it made him feel safe in there so he wanna give that comfort to others so normally when he's wereing his work outfit he's in his human hight Wich is average or a tad more taller then a 20 something year old male so he can bring the same comfort that human woman gaven him

For my au called the misadventures of Finley my version of Wally acts and has more cat features for example his hair frizzes up when angry/scared

Some stuff with my ver of Wally is that when stressed he stress eats not the normal way ither due to him eating from his eyes he doesn't have any control over them when angry or stressed out causing him to eat inedible stuff this also cause Wally to feel ill or have stomach aches he owns a sleeping mask but he doesn't use them for sleeping he usually where's it during the time he's stressed so he doesn't axadently eat something (or someone in that matter) Wich begs the question on why wally in general needs to eat or even eats with his eyes in the first place sense the actual creator of Wally said that the puppets don't eat they just have favorite foods to make 🤔 so Wally general interests me more with how he works

Other information is that he secretly has a cat tail he doesn't hide it because he's embarrassed but actually because it overloads his stimulation when people pull on it especially kids when he and his friends have meet n greats with other "neighbors" so he usually hides it

More information is that he and his friends live in another dimension from earth some people behind the show figured out how to open the puppet world to the human world however it's a combo mix of the Truman show and nope also with mix of adventure time and over the garden wall adventualy the government caught the people with a potentially dangerous weapon (the portal to the puppet world) and confiscating not just to show but the entire franchise making sure that the franchise of welcome home as a whole is unknown and unseen by the public eye of humanity that is until the anonymous found it and somehow gathered more information then the government did causing them to be in the government watch list
