"Oh, we have met, in a way. I know everybody, here, and there. You wish to leave this place? Then, it is my wish to make your doing so a little bit more interesting... and, if you encounter the Olympians someday, do give them my regards."

Ever watching; their gaze was only focused down on Thanatos whilst they stood silent as ever. There was never a need to speak for the sake of filling empty gaps. It was a strict viewpoint from overseeing a fair amount. Yet it was not long before the hand had been retracted and back once more by Chaos' side.
The finer details, such as what Thanatos was doing and the exact location selected, was hardly of true interest. After so long of being almost non-existent, Chaos had made the agreement to make small attempts yet firmly staying within their own method of doing anything. The regular conversation structures of not speaking unless prompted, or do so anyway and they would never respond.
"..I take it that such an action was, indeed, the correct option." They stated in their common calmness. Ignoring Thanatos' question as it was viewed as an unimportant one that needed no response verbally. "This is a peculiar place to read, yet that simply must be due to this place. Would this be common? Respond."
@khaosprim asked : sender wraps a blanket around receiver’s shoulders . [ ... ]
THEIR GRANDPARENT HAS ALWAYS FELT LIKE AN ENIGMA. a distant relative, a parent who drifted away from their children. sometimes thanatos wondered if the elusive master chaos ever really existed, or if they were simply the product of his mother's bedtime stories.
with their increased presence, thanatos finds he has more questions than answers for his grandparent. he's grown used to master chaos' ... unusual means of showing affection. they're more surprised at the simplicity of the blanket being draped around their shoulders. thanatos isn't cold nor is he tired. he is curled up on his chaise overlooking the styx with a book resting against his knees. they tilt their head back, shocked to see the face of their grandparent peering down at them, their large hands still hovering by thanatos' shoulders. a crooked little smile twists across thanatos' lips.
"thank you." he sits up a little straighter, tucks his legs beneath him in a criss-cross position and turns to face his grandparent. he pulls on the blanket's fabric, tugging it snugly around his shoulders. "would you like to sit with me?"

They remained perfectly still and in one place. For now observing this one that had quite a few claims although they were accepted as truth. Although it should have been a significant learning situation when Chronos had once utilised their trust to gain what he wanted, they still were more prone to believing every word rather than questioning it all. And why would someone dare to lie over a lineage of such importance? It would be another major amount of deception.
"Another spawn of Hades? That is unexpected and I was unaware. Perhaps Nyx had her reasons. I have met with two other spawns of Hades within past, Zagreus and Melinoë. I do miss their visits." Chaos' tone remained neutral as it always had been throughout time, yet they were saddened by that fact. To once have had two guests that were so insistent on, in the case of the first sibling, reconnecting them with their daughter and both having actively ignored their need to organising conversations. All because of the pair, they'd learnt a fair amount of how everything had changed and how to improve. Albeit the smallest amount that could be possible.
A few strides as they had wandered somewhat closer with not even a single glance to ensure the floor plan was in the same position as it was prior. That was the curse of an ever changing domain. Upon a closer look, it had been determined for certain this was not one seen prior. Her name would likely be remembered but unlikely to be uttered frequently. Yet the mention of never seeing the gates came as a surprise whilst also not being simultaneously. "I do not reach out therefore they are often appearing for certain people." It was a simplification but to them it did not matter in the end. Seeing a gate and entering was the choice made.
"however, I shall agree that the fates can be mysterious to those unaware of their work. They are but three of my granddaughters and Moros, their guardian, is my grandson therefore I am more aware. They are rather infuriating in the refusal to let me have gifted everything to the mortal world. You seem to have partial awareness based on your words. Do respond."
elizabeth held no particular place in mind as she began her walk. exploring her father's domain envoked memories of simpler times before the wars. her mind wanders to her countless hikes through the fields of punishment to visit melinoe, the hours spent harvesting honey in the elysium fields with makaria and peaceful moments in the garden with persephone. the daughter of hades held greater reverence for the chthonic deities of the underworld than those on residing on olympus. her time spent with other demigods had opened her eyes to their cruelty upon their own children. she'd felt guilty having grown up within the house of hades, under her father's care without the threat of monsters hunting her down. however, she knew that the fates would never allow her to continue such a privileged life. the word itself felt wrong, and she doubted any demigod would understand her perspective. it hadn't been until leo valdez had pointed out the mockery in their voice, as they called her 'princess'. that she even registered it.
how long had she'd been wandering again? she stopped abruptly, boots kicking up a small dust cloud around her feet. she knew the underworld quite well - or so she had thought. her instincts told her to run but curiosity held the stronger hand. good thing she has her backpack on full of her usual demigod and witchy essentials - hex bags, nectar, water bottles, book of shadows, etc. elizabeth pulls her stygian iron dagger out of her boot as she advanced towards the gates, entering through the cloud of smoke.
the new voice sent an unsettling chill down her spine. his words were even more frigid than kronos' or gaea's combined. curse her never faltering curiosity; it was certainly going to get her killed one day. she prays that today is not that day. she kept a white-knuckled grip on the handle of her dagger. an uneasy chuckle is given, her words slipping completely from her mind. 'speak before he gets annoyed by your presence and decides to smite you.' her subconscious screamed.
clearing her throat, she stands up straighter. why couldn't she think of this immortals' name? "my apologies, my lord. you are correct in assuming that i am not a mere mortal. i am a demigod, the daughter of lord hades, sir. my name is elizabeth klymenos." yes, using one of hades' epithets as her last name felt more natural than using her mortal mother's surname. "i was out for a walk when i stumbled upon your gates. i grew up in erebus but i have never seen them before." the mere mentioning the fates sent another way of unease through her body. with a weak smile, she remarks. "the fates work in mysterious ways, don't they?" she felt it deep in her soul that the positioning of those gates had to be the work of those ghastly women.

There had been quite a few shifts within recent years and that was something the Primordial one found peculiar. Nyx gave little information and so they were left to simply contemplating what it all be caused by. For now, Chaos stood beside one of the many tall standing pillars in their more "regular" size. Eyes engrossed on the neverending expansion of their domain. The rippling night sky water that melded into what made the sky. It all remained quiet. It always had been since those days when every child left for their duties, or when Nyx had not decided to visit following that reconnection centuries ago. But their eyes snapped towards that familiar sound of someone entering.
"for you to have entered through the chaos gate, your mental fortitude is more than a mortal above." Ramblings had been spoke a loud as they came to turn a little. "The fates failed to inform me of such a guest and yet it must have been set for a reason. As I did not request for anyone, I assume there is some form of reasoning behind a visit. One that is uncommon as of late. Your response?"

The only details I have currently for chaos’ pjo verse is that the Demi gods are certainly allowed to visit and able to compared to regular humans. Those within the underworld get to witness them wandering around when visiting family and then vanishing as if nothing occurred. They do ask a lot of questions.

They are not nosey, however Chaos cannot help themself from asking multiple questions about each grandchild's duties. It is not small talk to them as it is more a learning opportunity and the fact they shut down the conversation when it becomes repetitive information and not worth their time.
