KHAOS :: PROLOGUE

note that this is NOT proofread well besides a few fix ups in grammar mistakes, please ignore them and how bad this is,,,,

warning (?): gun, shooting people (how do i do this)

NYX DIDN'T REMEMBER PASSING OUT. In fact, she barely remembered anything at all.

Her thoughts swam, her sight was blurred. It felt like she was floating into an abyss, into nothingness, into the void.

But then Nyx's vision focused. In front of her was someone she hadn't seen in 4 years. Someone she loved.

Kathryn.

But the more Nyx looked at the scene, the more she realized… Something was wrong. Nyx could feel her hands shake, and from what she could tell, she was holding something.

She was holding a gun.

Kathryn's clothes were bloodstained, her expression in distress. She was on the floor cornered by Nyx. Her words were slurred and Nyx could barely make out what she was saying.

"Liora, please don't do this!"

Nyx could feel her teeth clench even though she wasn't doing anything. Who was Liora…?

Oh.

That was Nyx. Her past. The person she'd never be again. Not after her fallout with her parents…

"I need to do this," she said firmly in her memory. "It's the only way."

"Then find another way!” Kathryn pleaded. "I thought I knew you. I didn't think you'd actually try to kill me."

"I have to join KHAOS." Nyx insisted, her hands tensing on the gun. "PURITY screwed me over. This is my last resort."

“Throwing your life away to become a serial killer isn't a good last resort,” Kathryn countered. “I know you're mad over the whole thing, but-"

"Mad?” she repeated. "Mad? You think that's what this is about? My entire family hated me for being this person who can manipulate shadows. If they don't want so many of them to join KHAOS, why do they even go against them in general? No one trusted me after that. Except… You.”

Nyx's grip on the gun relaxed as Kathryn's eyes bore into hers. "I'm so sorry. I'm sick of this."

"I think you could…” Kathryn started. "Never mind. You wouldn't agree to it…"

"You can't drop that and say 'never mind',” Nyx demanded. "What the heck was that?

"You could fake my death," she said.

"No one would believe that,” Nyx noted. "They would probably ask me for your corpse and put it in their like.. Dead corpse room."

Kathryn snorted at the comment. "I know. But maybe, just maybe, we could work this out."

"Work it out how?"

"Shoot me."

Nyx lowered her gun.

"Just trust me," Kathryn begged. "I know people who can help me.”

Reluctantly, she raised the gun, aligning it with Kathryn at the least lethal spot.

"You promise?" Nyx questioned. "What if they ask for your body?"

"Liora,” she started. "Tell them PURITY came when you killed me and you had to flee.”

“I’m not a coward,” Nyx argued. “I wouldn’t run at PURITY.”

“KHAOS knows how much more powerful the people at PURITY are,” Kathryn insisted. “I’ll even call them up to make it look realer.” “What if they catch me?”

“Blend in with the shadows.”

Kathryn looked at her watch and typed something in, assumingly to PURITY. “Trust me. I know you can do it.”

“Go on,” Kathryn said.

Nyx looked at the gun and took a breath. She squeezed her eyes tightly and pulled the trigger, flinching at the BANG noise it made.

CHARACTER INTRODUCTION: RETRO

Retro is NOT affiliated with KHAOS and is with PURITY. He is a robot and is from a company that mass produces them. He is the personal bot of... Someone unknown. If you see one of these robots on sight, please report it to the faculty.

AAAAAAAA retro!! he's been one of my favorite guys ever!! he's so fun to draw. also if we're friends you might know who his creator is bc i've drawn them together a few times :3 btw if i keep changing retro's design. i'm figuring out what i like... Btw Retro is personalized and is not the main design of all of the robots that the company produced. This is custom made for whoever.

Intro Post

Welcome to KHAOS. KHAOS is a criminal organization composed of people with magical abilities. The main idea is that 2-4 people are assigned to one person with a bounty on their head, and the first one to kill them receives money. Their enemy is a group called PURITY. Purity is basically the same as KHAOS, except they only hunt down those affiliated KHAOS and don't kill them.

Ask our volunteering members, Nyx, Ace, Spade, Saturn, Titan, and Hunter any questions that you desire. Unless you're affiliated with PURITY. (Or breaks the rules.)

Below this explain our rules, members, and extra miscellaneous things about the blog.

Nyx — She/her, main protagonist of KHAOS. She is in 2nd place of having the most kills in the organization. She has the ability to control darkness and shadows. [Text in pink is said by her.]

Kathryn

Ace — He/they. He is twins with Spade and is part of a duo group with her. Him and Spade are in 1st place of having the most kills. [ability undecided] [Text in purple is said by them.]

Spade — She/her. He is twins with Ace and is part of a duo group with her. Her and Ace are in 1st place of having the most kills. [ability undecided] [Text in green is said by her.]

Saturn — She/they. She is in 11th-30th place in the organization, and one of the most peaceful members. She can alternates between two forms, Saturn and Kronos. They have telekinesis and notably uses her ability to maintain the ring around her head. [Text said by her will be orange. Additionally, text in orange + italics is from Kronos.]

Titan — He/him. He is in 31st-60th place in the organization. He was forced to join the group. He is one of the many "children" of Saturn, however he keeps to himself mainly. He has the ability to control ice and water. (water needs to be cold) [Text said by him

Hunter — He/him. 11th-30th place in the organization. He is a former member of PURITY and turned to KHAOS. [ability undecided but one of his hands is a cool big claw thing which he can willingily use and not use] [Text said by him will be red.]

Hey there. This is a sideblog of a story/universe thing. All of the work is by me. This is a fun project I've been developing for a while that I've named KHAOS. KHAOS is also an acronym (but ngl I kinda forgot it.. all my notes got deleted rip). If I go OOC in a post, the text stating I'm OOC will be red, like the one above.
