At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.

You must unlearn this.

You must accept that all people will be annoying at some point or another in their lives, maybe all of their lives, and that this is okay. It is okay for strangers on the bus, it is okay for children in the grocery store, it is okay for people on social media, and it is okay for you.

If you ever want to truly love your fellow humans, if you ever want to truly love yourself, you must have forgiveness for being annoying.

God, he never thought this would happen. Never once did Logan think this was even in the question.

The twins left. For good.

Roman had left without even a letter or word, and Remus just vanished in thin air. In front of their eyes. Logan would’ve thought that he would never let himself be shocked like he was before, with King.

[the split had been terrible for them all]

Patton had been sobbing when Logan had left for the Imagination, Virgil locked in his room, and who knows where Janus was.

As Logan opened the door his eyes widened as he looked upon a barren place nothing but dirt and dust for miles around. But still he wandered.

He wandered and wandered until he felt the summons of Patton call for him. He left but he made a reminder to himself to try and find more.

More of them, more of the thing that helped them move. The [figurative] piece of their unfinished puzzle.

When he arrived in the dining room, he was met with a plate of Shepard’s Pie. A classic for a stressed Patton. He sat down and looked up from his seat only to be surprised by a red-eyed Janus just diagonal from him.

He looked to this side to find a tired Virgil on his left, though Logan himself wasn’t doing any better.

”Good evening everyone,” He greets and only gets a forced happy ‘Hi’ from Patton and a grunt from Virgil.

Janus only glanced up and said, ”Where have you been? We’ve been waiting for years.”

Logan cocks his head, “Surely you haven’t been waiting for years, I only left for the Imagination at 5.”

“Imagination?” Virgil quietly questions.

”Yes, I was looking to see if there was any kind of sign of Roman and Remus.”

Patton winced at the names of the twins. Then, “I didn’t even know the Imagination was still here. I thought since only the twi— they could control it that it would be gone, like their rooms.”

“I was thinking the same thing,” Janus nodded.

Virgil waves them off, “Who cares about that? What did you find in there, Lo?” He asks curiously.

Logan shakes his head, “ nothing but dirt and dust but i haven’t checked the entire place, so I will be going tomorrow.”

“Can I join?” Virgil asks.

“Me as well.” Janus joins in.

“Of course, we will cover more ground if I have more help.”

Logan wakes up and immediately starts his morning routine of brushing teeth and getting dressed. He then goes into his dresser and grabs boots and a new pair of glasses that he’s been working on to keep out dust.

He readjusts his tie as he goes to knock on Virgil’s and Janus‘ door respectively. Janus’ door opens to reveals Janus in a more ‘sporty’ [if you can call it that] outfit than his regular one. A jacket with the back way more longer than the front and black jeans with his usual button-up but his cane is way more shaped like a hiking stick.

-“Oh you’re already ready, i guess all we have to do is wait for Virgil. He rarely gets up on time even if he can help it.” Janus chuckles at the statement.

Logan then knocks on Virgil door, when he doesn’t get an answer he knocks louder and calls, “Virgil please wake up Janus and I will be waiting in the kitchen with breakfast.” No response. “Do not forget we are going to the Imagination today.”

That seems to get a response as a huge gasp and a thunk is heard from inside the room. Logan breathes out a chuckle as Janus snickers under his breath and the two walk to the kitchen.

Logan is shocked to smell the delicious fumes of pancakes and bacon he walks faster as he feels himself salivating.

“C’mon, Logan,” Janus smirks, “We have to eat a full breakfast if we’re going to be exploring.”

Logan gives him a side eye he didn’t really mean and went to go sit in his seat.

“VIRGIL THERE’S BACON DOWN HERE!” Janus calls loudly.

There was a multitude of crashes before an ‘I’m okay!’ Aroused from the bottom of the stairs. Virgil popped his head from around the corner and trotted to his seat before Janus sat dow as well.

Virgil looked dressed for the trip, he was wearing his regular hoodie with some combat boots and looser jeans than his normal skinny jeans, he also seemed to have a miniature toy shield?

“Roman gave it to me in case i was in ‘danger’ and Remus decorated it and gave it some more properties” Virgil said after catching Him staring, “I dont think that anything dangerous is in there but y’know what if.”

Logan nodded.

They ate and sett out for the Imagination. [im rushing sorry]

Logan, Janus, and Virgil split up to cover more ground and Logan was starting to give up.

’please, Roman, Remus, please at least show us a sign you’re out there.’ Logan thinks and suddenly there’s a red glow.

Logan squints to look in the distance but he certainly saw that red glow.

He starts to walk. Then jog. Then run towards the red glow and he stops when he see the sign he’s been asking for.

A little red flower glows and he crouches to get a better look. A beautiful flower he can’t recognize has bloomed right here and he cups it between his hands, fingers lightly brushing the petals.

Logan smiles as he thinks, ‘thank you.���
