the fact that loop needed to teach siffrin about looping forward and zoning out through dialogue probably means that loop had to figure that out on their own. You ever think about how many loops they must’ve had to suffer through without any method of escape. siffrin may have had to suffer through months of loops, but they were largely unconscious/dissociating, and i’m not sure the same thing can be said for loop

probably the issue with modern day art being so abstract is not the art itself, but rather the fact that we are attributing a set value to the art itself. unfortunately, this means that art will be seen as many only as a method through which to gain cash, which leads to people wanting to create and buy art that cannot be criticized for what makes it up, because if something can be criticized, its value can be lowered, whereas something entirely subjective can only ever increase in value. That being said, this leads to abstract art itself (along with absurdist/self referential art) being seen as less “real” than art which has an easily understood image, which leads to people tossing out all of those forms of art, when it’s really the soullessness of capitalism forcing conformity in a money driven space that they don’t like.

agree with all those ideas of siffrin being so happy to see rain again for the first time. like! proof!! real proof that the loops ended!! yay!!! but I think for loop it would be a lot different, just because I don’t know if they would even remember it that well. they were in there for thousands of loops, and if each loop lasted the full two days because they were trying to kill the king, they may have spent years, if not decades, stuck in there. combined with their memory problems... post cannon, if it rains, loop may not know what they’re looking at. is it safe? it looks like the kings tears, so it can’t be safe, it might freeze them in time! the sky is breaking again, just like it did when stardust had their breakdown, what if something is happening to him?? idk, just think loop would have trouble adjusting to how the world changes day to day. they’d learn to love it eventually
