i think there's a non-zero chance that at some point around seasons 1-3 scully fell asleep on the couch watching a history channel documentary about world war ii naval battles only to wake up at 2am to the sound of mulder's voice, panic thinking he broke into her apartment, and then realize he's a guest talking head on some proto-ancient aliens show. and then she mocks him mercilessly about it the next day at work.

ppl on tiktok/instagram are soooo weird about curly hair. if your hair isn’t curly, using leave in conditioner and a curl defining cream won’t make your hair suddenly curly. your hair doesn’t have to pass some white middle aged instagram influencer lady’s qualifications for your hair to be ‘actually curly’. you don’t need to buy seventeen products and dry your hair upside down to have nice curly hair. the curly girl thing is insane everyone is insane

I think a lot of people forget that writing is not special and by that I mean anyone who wants to, can. yes that includes you. writing is a skill that can be developed. like drawing, playing an instrument, sports, cooking, etc. like all those other skills, there may be people who have more of a natural head start, but in the long run that doesn't mean ANYTHING about the people who don't.

if you want to write, you can learn, even if you don't have that "intrinsic storytelling spark that speaks from your soul, oOOOooOOoo" stuff. that stuff is not nearly as important as being willing to put in the time to come up with an idea, care about it, develop it, execute it, and share it, while learning how to help make those processes smoother. there are ways to get better, too. writing is just A Skill.

Gaga and Kesha and Miley and Halsey are right there. Rina Sawayama and Hayley Kiyoko and Rebecca Black and Kehlani and Victoria Monét and Miya Folick if you're willing to get slightly less top 100. Janelle and Demi for them nonbinary takes on liking girls. like what are we doing here. like I'm not even saying you can't enjoy Taylor but why would you hang all your little gay hopes on her.

Google is actively blocking Captcha on Firefox

Firefox users have noticed that captchas - both the picture kind and the click the box kind - are not resolving on Firefox. Tests on Chromium based browsers show that it works perfectly fine on them. It is also known that Chrome will be disabling all ad-blockers in June when it moves to Manifest v3, which will greatly limit what extensions can do.

If you use Firefox, there is an extension called User-Agent Switcher and it allows you to change your browser's UA to Chrome. This will allow you to bypass reCaptcha/Captcha blocks set up by Google and make them function properly.

It could be a code snafu on Google's part - but given how predatory they have been acting lately, I'm going to guess not. Don't get locked out of your websites or feel forced to use Chrome again just to browse.
