i've been real sick this month so this took ages to finish, but! my most involved and least referenced painting yet uwu

how do i end up celebrating my wife's oc's birthday every year.... i've started remembering it like he's a real person.....

been playing cybersleuth and hacker's memory, and really wanted to draw some of my favourite rookies! I was inspired by the style hawberries used for their pokemon icons like these ones :3 had a couple of false starts but i'm happy with these ones

hm hmm i think a happy level of render for me might be closer to the last one

more practice, still using refs quite closely, but trying to bring in a few more things...

another practice - did not colour pick from reference this one, trying to get used to feeling my own way. middling result! but it's fun and I'm going to keep at it :)

another practice!! quite comfortably under two hours now that I've stopped refining my sketch much at all and just trusting the paint over :^)
