The Adventures of Hunting for a New Water Resource

Chapter 2  If you don’t have any good ideas, please shut up!

Three days passed quickly, Bobo stood at the entrance of the Jumbo Forest and waited for her amigos before 6 a.m..

Cici got there soon, then Rory, Momo and Kiki also arrived.

When they thought Pipi would not be able to come and were about to set out, they heard Pipi’s voice behind them.

“Hey! Wait for me!” Pipi shouted loudly and ran to them.

Pipi

“Did your mom allow you to go with us?” Bobo asked.

“Of course she won’t agree,” Pipi answered, “So I persuaded my aunt. She promised me she will keep the secret for me and told my mom that I will live in her home to learn ballet for some time.”

“That must be the craziest thing you’ve ever done,” Kiki giggled.

Kiki

“I thought Momo is right, it might be the only way to rescue our village.” Pipi said, “I should also do something for it.”

“Ok, let’s go now!” Bobo said.

“So what’s your plan?” Momo asked Bobo.

Momo

“First, we should find the prophet who lives in the deep in the Jumbo Forest…”

“The Prophet?” Rory interrupted, “Are you kidding? There is no prophet in the world!”

Rory

“I read from my mom’s diary, the prophet is truly exist.” Bobo explained.

“That’s ridiculous! I know your mother is a successful explorer though, she must make up this adventure story about prophet for amusement.” Rory said.

“If you don’t have any good ideas, please shut up!” Kiki said to Rory angrily.

She used to be a big fan of Bobo’s mother who passed away two years ago, and since then she became a big fan of Bobo. That’s why she supported almost everything BoBo did.

“Stop arguing, guys,” Momo said, “We do have time, but our villagers don’t.”

“Yes, let’s have a try first. What if it works? ” Pipi said.

“We trust you, Bobo.” Cici said sincerely.

Cici

“Thanks.” Bobo smiled.

Rory felt an enormous sense of isolation. But he didn’t think he was wrong.

“Fine, let’s see what the prophet looks like.” Rory said and went ahead of them.

The adventures of hunting for a new water resource started at this moment.

The Adventures of Hunting for a New Water Resource

Chapter 1  Sometimes an action is more important than a plan

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful village in Waterland. The villagers lived happily until one day all the water in this village dried up suddenly. Panic and despair filled the village as without water they would die in the near future.

…

Bobo was a brave girl who was curious about anything.

“It seems no one cares about  what happened to the water! ” Bobo said in surprise.

Bobo

“So what? If you know the truth, you can let the water come back?”  Rory satirized and rolled his eyes to Bobo.

Rory

To avoid  a big quarrel, Momo advised, “Why not look for a new water resource?”

Momo

“That’s a good idea!” Bobo said approvingly. “ Is there anybody willing to go with me?”

“Me!” Kiki raised her hand without hesitation.

Kiki

“And me,” Momo said. “It may be the only way to rescue our village.”

“Do you know where we can find the water? ” Pipi asked, “My Mom would never let me go to one place that is further than 3 miles away from home.”

Pipi

“Wow, you’re so lucky,” Cici said in his peaceful voice as usual, “My range of activity is only 1 miles.”

Cici

“So you two will not join us?”Bobo asked.

“No, I will go, but not now.” Cici answered. Then he looked at Pipi.

“Well, I need some time to think about it…It’s too dangerous, isn’t it?”

Bobo knew Pipi quite well, for she never said “No” to her mother. So she’s not going to force Pipi.

“What about you?” Bobo turned to Rory.

“You go, I go.” Rory said belligerently.

“Good,” Bobo said to everyone, “There days later, we’ll meet in the Jumbo Forest and set out at 6 a.m.. You can change your mind anytime.”

“Wait a minute! Do you have a plan?” Rory asked quickly. They even don’t know where to go!

“Just wait three days, ” Bobo explained. “I will give you a perfect plan.” Then she walked out the room.

“Sometimes an action is more important than a plan,” Kiki said, clapping him on the shoulder. “That’s what Bobo has taught me.”
