No matter where they are…
No matter what form of canon…
Live Action, Cartoon, or Comic…
Friends or something more…
Gar will always be there to remind Raven that she’s not alone.

I am ready for a The New Teen Titans movie
George Pérez and Marv Wolfman style
Where Raven reaches out to the Justice Leguage and rejects her, so she has to go to Dick Grayson to reinstate the Teen Titans to help defeat her father. And everyone’s like
Totally 80’s just like the comics
If Wonder Woman can do it, so can they
We have like 5 adaptations of Batman and Superman
The Joker has his own movie
The Flash has his own show
Green Arrow too
WHY ARE WE SLEEPING ON THE TEEN TITANS
The Cartoon Network show is the best thing we got, but it’s not in sync anymore
They’ve got everything for a great movie
But NO
All we get is a disorganized mess of a TV show

Reblog if you are NOT a Donald Trump supporter.
My family ranted to me last night about how they think Donald Trump is the only responsible person trying to run for president and they think “everyone supports him”.
I want to prove them wrong.

Help: Need advice about Homosexuality...and sexual attraction
Sadly, there is a story behind this question I am about to ask. It is not a story or a question about coming out. In a conversation I had with a family member, it has come to my attention that "attracted to the same sex/gender" is not enough to explain and defend homosexuality.
I have two first cousins (out of what seems to be a million of them). They are related to me but not to eachother. Cousin A is my father's relative who was visiting me about a month sometime last year. One day at lunch gathering with other member of my mother's family, (aunts, uncles, other cousins, etc.) we got into a conversation about Cousin B, who is in a relationship with girl.  And Cousin B's girlfriend was said to be very boyish. She looks like a boy.
And this sparked something.
Cousin's B's words to me were.
"Lesbians are hypocrites"
In fact, I think she extends this mindset to gay men too. But lesbians were the subject at the time, so lesbian's were what she talked about. Her reasoning was this.
Gay pairings are no different than straight pairings. In a straight couple, there is a man and there is a woman.  And it's the same in gay couples. There is a really feminine one and the manly one.  And Cousin B's relationship with her girlfriend was further proof of that to Cousin A.
To her, dating a masculine woman is no different than dating a man. So why call yourself a lesbian. And if a man can stick it into another man's a-hole, than he can stick it into a woman.
Lesbian use toys for penetration during sexual acts, so it's should be no different than a penis.
My cousin is 40 years older than I am, with way more experience in life than I have.  She has two children, her oldest who is about a month older than me.
I have no sexual experience whatsoever.  I don't label myself, because labels confuse me, but if I had to, I'd say I was bisexual to a person less understanding of the complexities of gender and sexuality.
To a person who is more sensitive to gender and sexuality, I am pansexual.
But even those terms don't feel right to me, but if I must that is what I'd use.
So I can't speak correctly in defense to gay people. I don't have just one attraction to one type of person or one type of gender. And I'm very ignorant about sex. My only knowledge about sex comes from the sex education I had in Sophomore year in highschool, coupled with whatever I read in romance novels, erotic fanficion and comics/manga/ doujinshi, and porn.
With no sexual experience, and being unable to relate to lesbians, I couldn't defend to the best that needed to be. The best I could go with is to say. Well maybe they just like that person.
But how does one explain and defend against a person who says lesbians or gay men are hypocrites if they go after a masculine woman or a feminine man.

I feel like there is a different between New52 StarFire and NewTeenTitans Starfire.  But for me, all I have is word of mouth and floating pictures regarding New52 Starfire, because I have never read any of Red Hood and the Outlaws.  I have never read anything with New52 Starfire.
I have, however, read NewTeenTitans Starfire.  The Starfire that first created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.  And from what I've heard, even the people who liked this Starfire, loathe her new depiction in the New52.
I never liked the Cartoon Starfire.  She was too airheady and irritating for me. But I gravitated to Comic Starfire in ways that I didn't for the cartoon and I love her so much more than her cartoon counterpart.  And I think being closer to this Starfire would be more appropriate for TNT.
Especially since TNT Titans audience isn't the same demographic as Cartoon Teen Titans. I do think that there is a way to keep Starfire's sexuality and do it tastefully without degrading her to fanservice/ or eyecandy.

NOTICE: THE CAPTIONS IN THIS IMAGE ARE FAKE. THEY WERE NOT ACTUALLY PRINTED BY DC COMICS.
So the rumors regarding the new Teen Titans TV series are true, and no, for those of you who don’t know, it’s not a Season Six that we’ve constantly asked for. It’s a live-action series set for the TNT network. Here are my main problems with that:
I’m all for an adaption to stay as close as possible to the source material, but I’m willing to let a few changes slide by, like Norman Osborne not being the first Green Goblin in Marc Webb’s Spider-Man films. The changes made in the Teen Titans animated series on Cartoon Network is an excellent example of that. Starfire is probably the best example here.
As a male geek, I’m always open to the idea of a really sexy character, because it doesn’t look outright sexist when you throw in strong character traits to go along with it. Examples of this include: - Chun-Li, Cammy, Sakura, and various other females from the Street Fighter video games. - Asuka, Lilli, Xiaoyu, Nina, and Anna, among others, from the Tekken video games. - Morrigan Aensland, Felicia, and Hsien-Ko from the Darkstalkers video games. - Samus Aran from the Metroid video games. - Black Widow from Marvel’s Universe, more prominently in the films. - Fionna in Adventure Time’s alternate universe - Pretty much every Disney Princess, the most notable of which is probably Ariel, and even still that’s not made a major design aspect of those characters.
Starfire on the other hand, seems to be all about oversexualizing though. When you combine the fact that she wears very revealing clothing on a regular basis with the fact that she is an extraterrestrial who’s a little confused with Earth, and a bit of a hothead, you’ve got a lot of bad images to women. Her confusion with Earthly customs makes her seem like a bimbo, which is very offensive to women. And the character trait of being angry a lot is also quite degrading, as there are already a lot of stereotypes about women being angry and difficult to understand. While that may be true it’s not okay to reflect on that with a character like Starfire. And on a side note, her regular hairstyle looks like she’s trying to grow a bush on her head.
Now the animated series version of Starfire is much better. And it might be because she is supposed to look even younger, like an actual teenage girl. This version still has somewhat revealing clothing, but this one is more appropriate, as she’s really only showing off her legs and torso, which isn’t as terrible as wearing something that could easily be considered a bikini. The hairstyle is also a lot simpler, and her cheerful attitude, along with the traits above, give her a more curious personality, than something stereotypical. Much of what has been said also applies to Blackfire as well.
There is another important issue I want to point out. Why was TNT chosen to air this show? What’s wrong with putting the Teen Titans on The CW to go along with Green Arrow and The Flash, especially since both of them have apprentices who appear in the animated show, particularly Kid Flash. It seems only time will tell if this new series ends up accomplishing good things for a live-action adaption.
Nonetheless, I’d prefer the Titans to stay the same. They’ve all said they want to continue the series, and CN already has them for Teen Titans Go!, which isn’t as good, but is more of a show to watch when nothing else is on.
What do you guys think?
