April Book results:
“The murder of Roger Ackroyd” by Agatha Christie 5/5
“To a God unknown” by John Steinbeck 4,5/5
“The Demon” by Mikhail Lermontov 5/5
“Radio silence” by Alice Oseman 4/5
April turned out to be quite diverse in terms of books read. All the books are decent, but my favorite is the incredible Agatha Christie.

Right after New Year's Eve, I picked up Steinbeck's family saga, "East of Eden." Everyone praised it, yet no one truly explained its story.
As I read, I felt echoes of "The Brothers Karamazov" and "One Hundred Years of Solitude." These works share deep themes of family, the freedom to choose, and the struggle of will.
Steinbeck's writing is simple yet beautifully crafted. He paints vivid pictures of California's landscapes, bringing them to life before your eyes. His way of expressing the characters' emotions is so genuine that you can't help but feel what they feel.
Overall, this book is certainly worth your time. However, if you're new to Steinbeck, I recommend beginning with something easier, like "The Winter of Our Discontent" or "Of Mice and Men."
